DELIVERY VEHICLE AND FACILITY LOADING AND UNLOADING SHELF SYSTEM
Vehicle shelf systems having indicators thereon for improving loading and delivery efficiency. Items are scanned for loading, and the indicators on the vehicle shelves identify where to place the item based on the sequence of the delivery point along the delivery route. A mobile computing device alerts a delivery carrier when the delivery vehicle is in proximity to a delivery point when an item is to be delivered.
LOADING ARM ASSEMBLY FOR A LOAD-HANDLING VEHICLE
The invention relates to a loading arm assembly (8) for a load-handling vehicle (1), having a main arm (9), having an auxiliary arm (11), having a crossbeam (19), having two corner grippers (24, 25), wherein the auxiliary arm (11) is disposed on the main arm (9), wherein the crossbeam (19) is disposed on the end of the auxiliary arm (11), wherein the corner grippers (24, 25) are each disposed on the ends of the crossbeam (19). The loading arm assembly (8) is improved in that the crossbeam (19) is pivotable relative to the auxiliary arm (11) about two axes (48, 49).
SMART FIXTURING SYSTEM AND METHOD
Systems and methods are provided for determining and correcting autonomous transport imbalances. A transport vehicle operates over a route. A fixture plate is coupled to the transport vehicle by a joint to carry a payload. A sensor determines a position of the joint. A controller modifies the operation of the transport vehicle in response to a change in the position of the joint to correct imbalances.
Modular cargo slider
The present invention relates to a modular cargo slider for easy modular assembly of at least one platform and custom configuration by the user. Optional dividers allow for the containment of a cargo on a top surface of the platform during transport and can be optionally adjoined to at least one platform, an end cap or a spacer as needed by the user. In some embodiments, the dividers include at least one indentation for assisting the user in securing the cargo on top of the top surface of the platform of at least one platform. In some embodiments, at least one end cap and at least one spacer allow for further custom configurations be the user.
Vehicle load ramp system
A multi-configurable load ramp for a vehicle includes an outer ramp member, an inner ramp member pivotably coupled to the outer ramp member and movable between a deployed position extending from the outer ramp member, and a folded position where the inner ramp member is disposed nestingly within outer ramp member, and a vehicle attachment device coupled to one of the inner and outer ramp members. The vehicle attachment device includes a plate member and a hook member extending therefrom, the hook member having an upper jaw and a lower jaw at least partially defining a receiving slot to receive a portion of a tailgate. In the deployed position, one of the inner and outer ramp members is configured to couple to the tailgate via the vehicle attachment device to provide a ramp surface to load and/or unload objects from a cargo area of the vehicle.
DEVICE FOR SECURING A MATERIAL HANDLING DEVICE IN FIXED LOCATION INSIDE A TRANSPORT VEHICLE AND RELATED METHOD
A device for securing a material handling device in a transport vehicle comprises an arm supporting at opposite ends a first attachment member configured for attaching to a shaft of a handle of the material handling device, which is configured for steerably moving the material handling device, and a second attachment member configured for attaching to the transport vehicle. The arm is movable relative to the first attachment member between a working position in which the arm is arranged to extend outwardly from the shaft of the handle to position the second attachment member at a spaced location therefrom for connecting to the transport vehicle, so as to secure the material handling device in fixed relation to the transport vehicle, and a storage position in which the arm is arranged generally parallel to the shaft of the handle to position the second attachment member at or adjacent the shaft.
REAR CORNER POST FOR A TRUCK TRAILER
A corner post is for a rear door of a trailer, container or truck body. The corner post has a width when the door has been swung open 90 degrees between 0.75 inch and 1.94 inch such that the width of the opening into the trailer when both doors are open is at least 98.44 inches. The corner post includes three pieces that are attached together. The three pieces include planar sections and U-shaped sections.
LOAD BAR FOR A TRUCK TRAILER
A transportation vessel includes a first sidewall and an opposing second sidewall. A load bar has a first end and a second end. The load bar is movable between a horizontal orientation and a vertical orientation. In the horizontal orientation, the first end is attached to the first sidewall and the second end is attached to the second sidewall, and the load bar may support cargo while the cargo is being transported in the transportation vessel. In the vertical orientation, the first end is attached to the first sidewall and the second end is unattached to the second sidewall.
LINEAR ACTUATOR AND LIGHT SYSTEM FOR A TRUCK TRAILER
A trailer includes a front section having a first floor approximately between three and six feet above a street level. A rear section has a second floor approximately between three and six feet above the street level. A horizontally-oriented platform is disposed in the middle section. At least one linear actuator is coupled to the platform and selectively raises and lowers the platform between a lower position at most two feet above the street level and an upper position approximately between three and seven feet above the street level. Warning lights indicate a position and state of motion of the platform.
LOAD BAR GUIDE AND STOP BRACKET FOR A TRUCK TRAILER
A transportation vessel includes a sidewall having a vertically oriented track on an interior side of the sidewall. The track extends upwardly to a top of the sidewall. A load bar has end(s) coupled to the track such that the end of the load bar is vertically slidable along the track. A stop bracket is positioned at a top of the track. The stop bracket includes a track extension and a stop piece. The track extension accommodates sliding of the load bar upwardly above the track. The stop piece blocks upward sliding of the load bar above the track extension.
