A training bat assembly for improving a user's swing of a baseball bat is provided. In one embodiment, the assembly includes a bat portion and a plug or cap portion, where the plug or cap portion is configured to mate with a distal end of the bat portion. For example, the bat may include a circular opening, and the plug may include a circular rod that is configured to fit within the opening. Alternatively, a cap with a circular opening can be used, where the cap is configured to fit over a distal end of the bat. By mating the plug or cap with the bat, and swinging the bat from a first position to a second position, the plug or cap is propelled from the bat, where the resulting location of the plug or cap can be used to determine the correctness of the user's swing was.

The various objects can include weights, playing apparatuses such as objects that can be swung in sports, balls, and clothing or other objects that can be worn by humans or other animals. The objects include fluid paths and redirections walls disposed within the fluid paths to direct fluid flow to particular areas within the objects. The designated areas to where fluid flow is directed aid in development of small muscle fibers and/or nerves due to the fluid sloshing around at those particular locations. Methods of making and using the various objects disclosed are also provided.

An exercise device for a person exercising on a support surface includes an elongated bar having two opposed ends. A weight has an aperture therethrough and slides along the bar. At least two rigid weight stops are fixed with the bar at selected locations along the bar, the weight free to slide along the bar therebetween. An end caps may be fixed to each end of the cylindrical bar to capture the weight and any weight stops on the cylindrical bar. In use, with the weight slidably captured on the bar, and at least two of the weight stops fixed with the bar on opposing sides of the weight, the person exercises by moving the bar to slide the weight between the at least two weight stops, or by rolling the weight along the support surface while holding on the cylindrical bar in a sit-up style position.
