Glazing with electrically operable light source
A laminated glazing comprising first and second panes of glazing material, first and second plies of adhesive interlayer material and an electrical device therebetween is described. The electrical device comprises a substrate having a first major surface and a second opposing major surface wherein on the first major surface of the substrate are one or more electrically conductive pathways in electrical communication with at least one electrically operable light source mounted on the substrate and on at least a portion of the second major surface of the substrate is an infrared radiation reflecting film for reducing the amount of infrared radiation that passes from the second major surface of the substrate to the first major surface of the substrate. An electrical device for use in such a laminated glazing is also described.
Light source module for atmosphere light and ambient glass
A light source module for an atmosphere light and an ambient glass are provided. The light source module is disposed at an edge of a light-guiding glass. The light source module includes multiple light-guiding blocks and light-emitting diodes (LEDs). The multiple light-guiding blocks are arranged along a side edge of the light-guiding glass to constitute a curved light-guiding structure, and the curved light-guiding structure has a radian matching the side edge of the light-guiding glass. The LEDs are disposed at at least one end of the curved light-guiding structure, and lights emitted by the LEDs are uniformly dispersed by the light-guiding structure to be incident into the light-guiding glass.

Systems With Window Illuminators
A system may have windows. A window may have a structural window layer such as a structural window layer formed from laminated glass layers. The window may separate an exterior region from an interior region within the vehicle. A light guide illuminator in the window may provide illumination for the interior region. The light guide illuminator may have a light guide that receives light from a light source. The light guide may have a density of light scattering structures that increases as a function of increasing distance from the light source so that the interior illumination is uniform across the light guide illuminator. An adjustable optical component layer such as a light modulator and/or a haze compensation layer with a density of light scattering structures that decreases as a function of distance from the light source may be interposed between the light guide and the structural window layer.

LIGHT STRIP DEVICE FOR A DOOR LEAF OF A BOARDING SYSTEM OF A RAIL VEHICLE
A light strip device to be secured on or in a window jamb of a window opening of a door leaf of a rail vehicle boarding system in a nondestructively releasable manner, wherein the window opening has a window pane. The light strip device has at least: a) one light strip which is provided with a number of light sources arranged in a mutually spaced manner in rows, and b) one holding and installation profile in which the at least one light strip can be received and which is provided with an attachment to the window jamb, wherein c) the holding and installation profile has at least one light through-opening such that light generated by the light sources can penetrate the light through-openings, and the holding and installation profile is opaque with the exception of the light through-openings or d) the holding and installation profile is at least partly transparent.
Vehicle interior lighting assembly
A vehicle interior lighting assembly includes a roof structure, a headliner and a light source. The roof structure has a lower surface portion located inboard of the outer periphery. The headliner is supported to the outer periphery of vehicle roof structure. The headliner has a central opening defined by an inner edge portion of the headliner. The opening exposes a portion of the roof structure. The inner edge portion of the headliner is spaced apart from the lower surface portion of the vehicle roof structure such that a gap is defined between the vehicle roof structure and inner edge portion of the headliner. The light source is installed to the lower surface portion of the vehicle roof structure such that when the light source is illuminated, light is emitted through the gap between the vehicle roof structure and inner edge portion of the headliner.
