STOWABLE WHEELED WEIGHT TRAINING SLED
A weight training sled and wall hanging bracket set for supporting the weight training sled in an elevated vertical stowage position. The push handles on the sled are pivotable as a unit about a laterally extending pivot axis as between an upward use position and a lowered stowage position extending towards the second longitudinal end of the chassis. The wall hanging bracket set includes an upper bracket for attachment to a vertical surface and supportively contact a second longitudinal end of the sled at two laterally spaced contact points, and a lower bracket for attachment to the vertical surface and supportively contact a first longitudinal end of the sled at a single contact point.
Aquatic resistance training system
Technologies are described for aquatic resistance training. An aquatic resistance line may be deployed across the surface of a swimming pool. An aquatic resistance device may be deployed to ride along the resistance line when pulled by a swimmer. The aquatic resistance device comprises offset compression tensioners, each with a wedge-like geometry and a channel for the resistance line. The housing of the aquatic resistance device positions adjacent pairs of the offset compression tensioners into alternating orientation to one another. A mechanical compressor within the aquatic resistance device can force the offset compression tensioners against one another along the axis of the resistance line causing the alternating wedge-like geometries of the offset compression tensioners to force the offset compression tensioners off-axis from one another orthogonal to the aquatic resistance line into a configuration operable to adjustably grip the aquatic resistance line thus providing a resistive training load to the swimmer.
Exercise device
An exercise device includes a footwear part, a brace part and at least one resistance band. The footwear part has a foot receiving portion configured to receive a front portion of a user's foot. The brace part is configured to be releasably attached to a knee area of the user. The at least one resistance band is configured to be releasably secured at opposite ends thereof to the footwear part and brace part, respectively. The exercise device can be used, among other things, for conditioning and strengthening, for aerobic exercises, and to help individuals maintain proper foot placement throughout an entire exercise and improve their form by helping them stay on their forefoot when performing an exercise dealing with brisk walking or running.
Method of exercise using two-handled container partially filled with liquid
A method of exercise includes partially filling (not more than 70% full) a symmetrical hollow body of an exercise device with water, grasping a pair of opposed handles attached to the hollow body, positioning the device at a height and orientation for a first set of motions, and rapidly oscillating the device at a frequency (≥2 HZ) to transform the water from a static state into a dynamic state in which the center of mass oscillates and hydrodynamic forces arise. Optionally, an additive such as viscosity enhancer or beads for audible effect may be introduced in the water.
TONGUE STRENGTHENING DEVICE
Disclosed is a tongue strengthening device that includes a handle on one end and a bulb structure on the other end. The bulb is resiliently flexible, and enables a user to exercise their tongue by repeatedly compressing and releasing the bulb. Provided is a system or kit that includes multiple tongue strengthening devices having different compression specifications that allow a patient to graduate to devices which are harder to compress as the patient gains tongue strength.
AB EXERCISE DEVICE
An ab exercise device including a first tube member, a second tube member movable with respect to the first tube member, an elastic member resisting the downward movement of the second tube member and moving upward the second tube member with respect to the first tube member, a first and a second side part for supporting the device respectively against a first and a second surface, the first and the second side part being arranged respectively to a first and a second side of the first tube member in the upper end of the first tube member, and a top part for pressing down the second tube member, the top part being attached to the second tube member.
PORTABLE DUMBBELL
A portable dumbbell includes a handle connection rod, a balance weight seat, a balance weight lock structure and a balance weight, where the handle connection rod includes a handle and a connection rod, the handle being fixedly or detachably mounted on the connection rod, the balance weight seat is fixedly or detachably mounted at two ends of the connection rod, at least one assembly hole is provided on the balance weight seat and used for assembling the balance weight, and the balance weight lock structure is fixedly or detachably mounted at the two ends of the connection rod, is partially accommodated inside the balance weight seat, and is used for controlling the balance weight to be rapidly mounted and locked and unlocked and taken out. According to the portable dumbbell, the balance weight seat and the balance weight lock structure are arranged to match each other.
FUNCTIONAL CORE TRAINING DEVICE FOR THE MUSCULAR AND MYOFASCIAL SYSTEMS IN THE BODY
A muscle strengthening system is provided having a functional core endurance training device and a pair of rolling blocks for supporting the functional core endurance training device. Each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes an elongated opening for receiving a wheel of the functional core endurance training device. Additionally, each rolling block in the pair of rolling blocks includes a pair of rollers, a stabilizer and a bumper guard for grounding the surface of the wheels of the functional core endurance training device allowing the wheels to spin with increased intensity. Optionally, an individual may utilize a stationary foot pedestal or a wheeled foot pedestal that provides for both the strengthening of the muscles of the individual while simultaneously stimulating an endurance building effect on the muscular and fascial systems of the body, all of which is achieved with minimal to no impact/pounding on the joints.
RESISTIVE EXERCISE HARNESS, RACK AND CART
The present disclosure relates to a resistive exercise harness, a rack for use with the harness, and a cart for transporting one or more of the harness, the rack, or weights. The resistive exercise harness can be used to perform various functional movements/exercises and simulate loaded carries/movements relevant to certain occupations/sports/recreations. The resistive exercise harness can promote efficient biomechanics and decrease mechanical stresses on a user's knees and/or lower back relative to other resistive exercises such as a barbell squat. The rack can be assembled in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments for harness usage and disassembled for convenient storage and/or transportation. The cart can interface with the harness and disassembled rack for convenient storage and/or transportation in a variety of indoor/outdoor environments.
Exercise device
The disclosure provides an exercise device comprising a weighted head and handle to simulate swinging a sledgehammer without causing the damage typically resulting from a sledgehammer having a solid head or hammer portion attached to a handle. Some embodiments provide quick release connectors between the weighted head and the handle. Methods for producing and using the weighted head and handle are also disclosed.
