Rotary light module
10393358 · 2019-08-27 · ·

A light module for a motor vehicle comprises at least one light source capable of emitting light rays, a support bearing the light source, optical deflection elements arranged so as to deflect the light rays emitted by the light source to form a light beam projected at the output of the light module, and guiding elements for guiding the optical deflection elements in rotation about an axis of rotation, in order to shift the projected light beam transversely. According to the invention, the rotation guiding elements comprise a first guiding element borne by the support and configured to cooperate with a second guiding element borne by the optical deflection elements.

Headlight unit and headlight

A headlight unit includes: a light source that emits a light beam for irradiating a forward area in a traveling direction; a light guide portion that receives the light beam and forms planar light having a divergence angle; a projection lens portion that projects the planar light forward; and a drive unit that changes a position of the projection lens portion. The drive unit is disposed in a region overlapping with the projection lens portion, as optically viewed from an optical axis direction of the light guide portion or the projection lens portion.

LIGHTING SYSTEM AND SENSOR SYSTEM

A light source (14) is configured to emit light for lighting a predetermined area. A LiDAR sensor (15) is configured to sense information of an outside of a vehicle. A first screw mechanism (16) is configured to adjust posture of the light source (14). A second screw mechanism (17) is configured to adjust posture of the LiDAR sensor (15). Adjustment by one of the first screw mechanism (16) and the second screw mechanism (17) is performed on the basis of adjustment that has been performed by the other one of the first screw mechanism (16) and the second screw mechanism (17).

HEADLAMP WITH AN IMPROVED LIGHT ADJUSTMENT

A headlamp for a vehicle comprising a housing, a low beam light unit and at least one high beam light unit. Both the low and high beam light units are received in the housing, along with a headlight range adjusting unit for adjusting the range of the low beam by tilting the low beam light unit about a low beam tilting axis. The headlamp comprises a mechanical coupling unit coupling the low beam light unit to the high beam light unit such that the high beam light unit is tilted about a high beam tilting axis simultaneously with the low beam light unit being tilted about the low beam tilting axis. The mechanical coupling unit comprises a coupling element, a first coupling link and a second coupling link. The first coupling link is arranged between the low beam light unit and the coupling element and the second coupling link is arranged between the high beam light unit and the coupling element.

Synchronized lamp adjuster
10272820 · 2019-04-30 · ·

A synchronized lamp adjuster assembly allows for adjustment of vehicle lamp assemblies that can be adjusted synchronously or by using the same adjuster assembly. Two or more adjuster assemblies are connected together by at least one shaft drive assembly having a shaft drive head that interacts with an input shaft for the adjuster assemblies. Rotation of the shaft drive head causes rotation of input shaft and adjuster assembly thus causing adjustment of the lamp assemblies.

ADJUSTMENT SYSTEM FOR OPTICAL ASSEMBLIES DESIGNED ESPECIALLY FOR MOTOR VEHICLE HEADLIGHTS

The adjustment system comprises at least one pair of adjustment apparatuses. For each optical assembly, one adjustment apparatus is adapted to turn the optical assembly around the turning axis (?; ?) independently of the other optical assembly. The adjustment system further comprises an additional adjustment apparatus connected to a first adjustment apparatus and adapted to transfer its movement to the movement of this adjustment apparatus; and a connecting member connected to the additional adjustment apparatus and to a second adjustment apparatus at the same time, and adapted to transfer the movement of the additional adjustment apparatus to the movement of the second adjustment apparatus (. If the additional adjustment apparatus is connected to the first adjustment apparatus and the connecting member is connected between the additional adjustment apparatus and the second adjustment apparatus, turning movement of one optical assembly will automatically induce a turning movement of the other optical assembly.

Vehicle lamp having rotatable lamp unit and protrusions as fulcrum
10183612 · 2019-01-22 · ·

A lamp unit is fastened to a bracket via screw fastening at two positions in the vehicle width direction where a rotation axis Ax1 of the lamp unit extends. Then, the bracket includes protrusions formed at four positions in the direction where the rotation axis Ax1 extends to allow the lamp unit to be rotated in the vertical direction by being in contact with a support panel of the lamp unit. Accordingly, with a simplified configuration, the contact portions of the four protrusions may function as fulcrums when the lamp unit rotated, and the lamp unit may be rotated in the vertical direction.
