Headlamp control device

A headlamp control device estimates, in a case where an ambient illuminance of a subject vehicle is equal to or lower than a predetermined switching illuminance when a state of a headlamp is the ON state, a time required for the subject vehicle to travel to an entrance of a tunnel in front of the subject vehicle, as a first time, switches, in a case where the first time is longer than a first determination time, the headlamp state from a low-beam state to a high-beam state, and, keeps, in a case where the first time is equal to or shorter than the first determination time, the headlamp state as the low-beam state.

Vehicle lamp and lighting control method thereof

A vehicle lamp and a lighting control method thereof which prevent senses of incongruity and discomfort when a light scanning type lamp is turned on. The vehicle lamp includes a first lamp (a low beam lamp unit) 2 configured to illuminate a required area when turned on, a second lamp (a high beam lamp unit) 3 configured to illuminate an area different from the required area when turned on, and a lighting control device 5 configured to control lighting of the first lamp and the second lamp. The second lamp is configured as a light scanning type lamp including a light source 31 and a scanning means 32 (a motor 34, a rotating mirror 35) configured to scan light emitted from the light source. The lighting control device drives the scanning means of the second lamp when the first lamp is turned on.

Auxiliary lighting control for vehicles and trailers

A control device for a first lighting load on a vehicle or trailer features an input connected to a lighting circuit through which a different second lighting load is operated, thus placing the controller in parallel relation with the lighting circuit, and a power output connected to the first lighting load on the vehicle or trailer. The controller is configured to detect from the input, a signal change sequence in the lighting circuit that comprises an initial high-to-low signal downstep, and a subsequent low-to-high signal upstep completed within a limited time window triggered by the initial high-to-low signal downstep. In response to detection of this signal change sequence, the controller energizes the first lighting load. If the second lighting load is the vehicle headlights, for example, a user can turn on the first lighting load by momentarily flipping the headlight switch off, and then quickly back on again.

VEHICLE-MOUNTED EQUIPMENT CONTROL DEVICE

A vehicle-mounted equipment control device includes a controller configured to cause equipment of any of a headlight, a wiper, and an air-conditioning device to continue a visual securing operation for securing visibility of a driver of a vehicle even after driving control of the vehicle is switched from automated driving control to manual driving control regardless of an operation mode of the equipment specified by an operation switch for setting an operation of the equipment when an operation mode executed by the equipment immediately before driving control of the vehicle is switched from automated driving control to manual driving control is an operation mode corresponding to the visual securing operation.

Headlamp control device for vehicle

A control unit of a headlamp control device for a vehicle is configured so that, when an occupant of the vehicle performs a predetermined interruption operation while the illumination mode of a headlamp is a high beam mode during automatic illumination control, the control unit sets the illumination mode to a low beam mode until an interruption time passes. The interruption time is set to a smaller value as a vehicle speed correlation value is larger. The vehicle speed correlation value is a value that increases as a speed at which the vehicle has been traveling since the start of the interruption operation is higher.

NOTIFICATION CONTROL APPARATUS, NON-TRANSITORY STORAGE MEDIUM STORING THEREIN COMPUTER PROGRAM, AND IN-VEHICLE SYSTEM

A notification control apparatus is provided in a vehicle, and includes: a projection controller that controls projection of a crosswalk pattern onto a road ahead of the vehicle; and an erroneous preventer that prevents an erroneous start of the vehicle during a projection period of the crosswalk pattern.

Lamp for vehicle

A lamp for a vehicle includes: a lamp module configured to project a light having a beam pattern onto a road surface; at least one processor; and a computer-readable medium coupled to the at least one processor having stored thereon instructions which, when executed by the at least one processor, causes the at least one processor to perform operations comprising: obtaining vehicle driving information associated with driving of the vehicle; determining, based on vehicle driving information, a light adjustment region; and based on the determination of the light adjustment region, performing a gradual control of light projected to the light adjustment region, the gradual control of light configured to progressively change a brightness of light in the light adjustment region.

VEHICLE CAMERA VISION SYSTEM AND METHOD

A vehicle vision system comprises first and second vehicle headlights configured to project first and second light structures into a travel path of the vehicle to illuminate an object in the travel path. The system includes a camera disposed in the vehicle between the first and second headlights to capture images of the object in response to capture signals. The first and second vehicle headlights alternately project the first and second light structures. A system controller synchronizes the capture signals so that images of the object captured by the camera include reflections of the first and second light structures. An image processor can reconstruct a surface geometry of the object based on the reflected first and second light structures.
