Vehicle with headlight control
A vehicle including: a headlight that produces a beam, a touchscreen, a camera, processor(s) configured to: (a) display images captured by the camera on the touchscreen; (b) recast the beam according to touch inputs on the images; (c) disable (b) when the vehicle exceeds a predetermined speed; (d) recast the beam by sweeping the beam from an original position to a final position.
LAMP FOR VEHICLE AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING THE SAME
A vehicle lamp includes: a light source unit including at least one light source configured to generate light; a lens that is arranged closer to a front of the vehicle lamp as compared to the light source unit, the lens configured to transmit the light generated by the light source unit; and a shield that is arranged between the light source unit and the lens, and configured to receive the light generated by the light source and allow at least a portion of the received light to pass therethrough, wherein the shield includes a plurality of pixels having respective light transmittances that are configured to be variably controlled, and wherein each of the plurality of pixels is configured to allow independent control of respective light transmittances.
VEHICLE HEADLIGHT CONTROL APPARATUS
A vehicle headlight control apparatus controls headlights of a vehicle including LEDs. The vehicle headlight control apparatus includes: drivers and each of which gradually changes a luminance of the LEDs between a predetermined on state and a predetermined off state over a switching time period; and a lamp ECU that determines the switching time period in a changeable manner.
VOICE-ACTIVATED VEHICLE LIGHTING CONTROL HUB
A voice-activated lighting control hub allows a vehicle operator to activate and adjust one or more lighting devices associated with the vehicle through verbal instructions. The voice-activating lighting control hub receives and interprets the verbal instructions, generates a control signal, and wirelessly transmits the control signal to a receiver associated with the lighting device in question. The voice-activated lighting control hub also provides spoken feedback to the vehicle operator through a speaker.
BLUETOOTH-ENABLED VEHICLE LIGHTING CONTROL HUB
A Bluetooth-enabled lighting control hub allows a user to activate and adjust one or more lighting devices associated with a vehicle through a mobile device in wireless communication with the lighting control hub. The lighting control hub receives instructions from the mobile device, generates a control signal, and transmits the control signal to the lighting device in question.
HEADLIGHT CONTROL DATA GENERATION DEVICE AND VEHICLE CONTROL DEVICE
A headlight control data generation device that generates headlight control data of a vehicle including a headlight includes an electronic control unit. The electronic control unit sequentially acquires, when a manual mode is selected, set data including a detection value of an illuminance around the vehicle, and ON and OFF data indicating that the headlight is in an ON state or in an OFF state at the time of sampling of the detection value, and generates the headlight control data based on the acquired set data. The headlight control data includes data regarding information on a probability of the headlight being in an ON state.
Controllable lighting arrangement for a vehicle
A system for controlling one or more vehicle lights, which can either be retrofitted to an existing vehicle or incorporated into a vehicle during original manufacture. The system may include a light controller operable to control one or more distributed lights, one or more sensors for detecting various ambient conditions, and a user input device having an interface configured to receive commands from a user. The light controller may modify a function of the one or more lights based on detections by the sensors and/or commands from the user input device. A state service may execute to maintain a state flow for the one or more lights based on the detections and/or commands.
Detector controlled illuminating system
An illuminating device coupled with sensors or an image acquisition device and a logical controller allows illumination intensity and spectrum to be varied according to changing user needs. The system provides illumination to areas according to the principles of correct lighting practice for the optimal performance of visual tasks in the most efficient, cost effective manner. Aspects of the invention include: lighting fixtures which adapt to ambient lighting, movement, visual tasks being performed, and environmental and personal conditions affecting illumination requirements at any given instant. Lighting fixtures having spatial distribution of spectrum and intensity, providing both background room lighting, and task lighting.
Police vehicle exterior light control
Systems and methods are disclosed for a police vehicle exterior light control. An example disclosed police vehicle includes first beacons positioned on a chassis of the police vehicle, second beacons positioned on a lightbar of the police vehicle, and a plurality of spotlights on the lightbar. The example police vehicle also includes a light control unit that tracks a location of wearable nodes associated with a police officer. Additionally, the light control unit illuminates the area around the police officer using selected ones of the plurality of spotlights.
ADAPTIVE DRIVING LIGHT SYSTEM
A driving light system for a vehicle, including: an array of lighting modules for illuminating a lighting zone in front of a vehicle, each module including: a light emitter unit for emitting a light beam along a light path to illuminate a segment of the lighting zone; and a directional light sensor unit adapted to detect reflected light from reflective surfaces in the path of the light beam, and at least one controller for automatically controlling the brightness of each emitted light beam as a function of light detected by one or more of the directional light sensors.
