EXERCISE APPARATUS
An exercise apparatus comprising: a foot support, a user interface that includes a visual display, the foot support being movable by the user on the frame back and forth through any one of a plurality of complete, reproducible and different arc segments of a master arcuate path, the foot support being interconnected to a selection device that enables the user to select any one of the plurality of arc segments, one or more detectors adapted to detect one or more of force, energy or power exerted by the user over time on the foot support or distance or velocity of travel of the foot support or resistance assembly during the course of the user's performance of all or a portion of an exercise cycle, the visual display displaying a visually recognizable format of one or more of the force, energy, power, distance, time or velocity.
GYM CAGE
An exercise apparatus has at least one vertical wall structure, a floor and a ceiling forming a cage that can be square, rectangular, circular, oval or another suitable configuration. An arrangement of strategically placed attachment points on the wall structure, floor and ceiling enables easy attachment and detachment of a variety of resistance devices (e.g., a handheld and/or inline cable operated resistance creation device, or a stretch band resistance device) to any of the vertical and/or horizontal structures within the gym cage, thereby providing a nearly 360 degree dimensional point of resistance to perform a wide variety of exercises for different muscle groups and subgroups of the body. In one embodiment, the cage includes an arrangement of spaced apart vertical and horizontal frame members forming a rear wall and opposite side walls.
STEPPER EXERCISE MACHINE WITH ADJUSTABLE RESISTANCE
A stepper exercise device includes a base support frame, a wheel assembly having a first wheel, a stepper assembly coupled to the base support base and first wheel of the wheel assembly, and a resistance adjustment mechanism coupled to the wheel assembly. The stepper assembly includes a first step pedal and a second step pedal coupled to a first side and a second side of the first wheel respectively. The first step pedal and the second step pedal are configured to move in an elliptical motion resembling a step motion of a user as if the user walked on the support surface. The resistance adjustment mechanism is configured to provide different amounts of resistance to rotational motions of the first wheel, which in turn provides various resistance to step motions of the first and second step pedals to adjust the intensity of the exercise.
MODULAR EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine includes a fastener to attach the exercise machine to an anchor point and an exercise module. The exercise module is configured to be attached to the anchor point via the fastener. The exercise module includes a spool, a cable wrapped around the spool, and an actuator connected to the cable.
Tension force stepless adjustment counterweight power generating mechanism and fitness equipment with the same
The invention discloses a tension force stepless adjustment counterweight power generating mechanism and a fitness equipment with the same, comprising a pulling rope, a winding drum, a mounting seat, a central shaft, a spring, a generator, and a regulator; one end of the pulling rope is connected to the winding drum; a part of the pulling rope is wound on the outer peripheral wall of the winding drum; the winding drum is rotatably connected to the mounting seat; the outer end of the spring is connected to the winding drum, and the inner end thereof is connected to the mounting seat; the central shaft is rotatably arranged on the mounting seat. The mechanism organically combines the pulling force process with the power generation process, and uses a regulator to adjust the rotation damping of the generator motor shaft to adjust the pulling force in a disguised manner.
Smarter user handles for exercise machine
In response to physical connection of an exercise accessory with a portion of an exercise machine, an identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is received. A signal including the identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is transmitted.
Dumbbell
A dumbbell with a selectable number of weight disks includes a handle with pins projectable in opposing directions, a base assembly for accommodating two sets of weight disks standing upright, and having through-going openings. Neighbouring weight disks have mutually cooperating connecting arrangements which axially interconnect the weight disks but which permit radial separation. The projection lengths of the pins are stepwise selectable in order thereby to permit selection of the number of weight disks carried on the handle. The handle has, in opposing ends, connecting arrangements for interconnecting with the connecting arrangements of the innermost weight disks in the base assembly. Further, the space between the connecting arrangements of the handle is free through 360 about the handle throughout its entire length, the openings of the weight disks being centrally located.
APPARATUS AND METHODS FOR INTERACTIVE MULTI-USER RESISTANCE TRAINING ON EXERCISE MACHINES
A computer-implemented system for a system of exercise machines includes a first exercise machine, a second exercise machine, and a mechanical energy storage device mounted to the first exercise machine. An apparatus is configured to alter a resistance of the mechanical energy storage device and dissipate the energy of the mechanical energy storage device. A server includes a processor, memory, and a networking interface. A communication pathway enables the server to communicate with the first exercise machine and the second exercise machine to communicate a virtual position of the first exercise machine relative to the second exercise machine. The server receives data, extracts performance information from the data, and transmits the performance information to the first exercise machine and the second exercise machine to alter the resistance of the mechanical energy storage device.
Resistance breathing device
A resistance breathing device includes a face mask having a perimeter and an aperture extending therethrough, and being adapted to overlay a user's mouth and nose such that the perimeter forms an air-tight seal with the user's face. An overlaying outer layer has a pair of straps for affixing the face mask about the user's face. An adjustment slide is positioned adjacent the face mask, has an inlet aperture extending therethrough, and is movable between a first position in which a first portion of the inlet aperture overlaps the inlet aperture of the face mask and a second position in which a larger second portion of the inlet aperture overlaps the inlet aperture of the face mask. An adjustment wheel is attached to the face mask and is movable rotatably between first and second positions to cause the adjustment slide to move between its first and second positions.
