Handgrip for skipping ropes
A handgrip for skipping ropes having a hollow handle, for gripping the handgrip and configured for housing at least one internal ballast; and a connection element for connecting the handle to a rope; an external ballast able to be fixed to the handle, surrounding and configured for gripping the handgrip.
Oropharyngeal exercise devices, systems, and methods
The various devices and systems herein include oropharyngeal exercise devices having a pump bulb with a bulb body having a flow restriction structure with a restricted configuration in which the flow restriction structure is configured to restrict the flow of fluid through the lumen such that the user must apply a force to increase the flow of the fluid. Other devices include containers and/or lids thereof with the bulbs attached to or integrated therein.
WEIGHTED APPAREL AND RELATED MANUFACTURING METHODS
Weighted apparel designed for training and/or weight loss, for example, along with related manufacturing methods. In some embodiments, a plurality of spherical weighted elements may be positioned within one or more tunnels formed within a piece of fabric. The tunnels may be sealed such that the weighted elements are contained within the tunnels and add a desired amount of weight to the fabric according to the number of weighted elements and the density of the material of such weighted elements. The fabric may be incorporated into a piece of apparel, such as shirts, pants, hats, belts, gloves, socks, ankle or wrist bands, shin guards, or full body suits, for example.
SMARTER USER HANDLES FOR EXERCISE MACHINE
In response to physical connection of an exercise accessory with a portion of an exercise machine, an identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is received. A signal including the identifier of the portion of the exercise machine is transmitted.
Exercise machine adjustment kit and methods of using the same
The present invention provides exercise attachments for modifying an inclinable weightlifting system using a user's body weight. A pair of vertical support devices providing rigidity and elevate the weightlifting system off the ground to aid in a user mounting and dismounting the system. A pair of adapter arms enable a user to tailor exercise attachments to target specific muscle groups and specific regions of that muscle group. The pair of vertical support device and pair of adapter arms may be incorporated into an inclinable weightlifting system to enable a user to perform various rowing and bench press exercises.
Modular Activity Board
An apparatus for receiving one or more activity attachments including a deck having one or more openings along a long axis of the deck and between the top surface and the bottom surface of the deck. Each of the one or more openings having a circular aperture for receiving an accessory of a set of accessories. Each accessory of the set of accessories providing an activity for a user of the activity. Each accessory having an attachment platform configured to attach the accessory to the board. The attachment platform having a locking mechanism to engaging with a complementary locking mechanism of the board.
Biomechanical Optimization Device
A biomechanical optimization device is provided. There is an adjustable frame, a plurality of resistance bands and a motorless treadmill. One end of a resistance band attaches to a user and the other end anchors to the frame. This allows the user to engage with and move the belt of the motorless treadmill. By attaching resistance bands to various parts of the user's body and anchoring the resistance bands to the frame at various positions and angles, the user is able to focus on strengthening or rehabilitating certain muscle groups.
Modular exercise machine
Commands are received from an exercise actuator via a control interface. Collaborative information about an exercise session is received via a software interface. A force from a central electromagnetic resistance unit is provided in response to the control interface and the software interface via a resistance mechanical interface.
Ring actuator
An exercise accessory includes a load bearing shaft. It further includes a ring-shaped actuator oriented substantially concentrically to the shaft that is responsive to radial pressure from a user. The radial pressure from the user causes a control signal to be transmitted from the exercise accessory to an exercise machine.
Mirror Therapy Device
A portable mirror therapy device comprises a stiff divider panel attached to a base unit which supports the divider panel in an upright position to define two adjacent limb receiving spaces at opposite sides of the divider panel. A mirror is mounted on one face of the divider panel. A clamp, indicated generally by the reference numeral mounted at a lower end of the divider panel cooperates with an underside of the base unit for securing the base unit on a support such as a table or worktop. An exercise apparatus is mounted on the device and includes a limb engaging member, which in this case comprises a handle at a mirror side of the divider panel. The exercise apparatus is a resistance load training system and comprises a load cord extending from the handle to an associated resistance element mounted within a housing on an opposite side of the divider panel to the mirror.
