An extendible truck bed storage assembly for accessing contents of a truck bed from a rear thereof includes a box, which is sized so that the box is removably insertable into the bed with opposed sides of the box being positioned proximate to the tire wells. The box has a top and a front, which are open. A ridge is engaged to a bottom of the box and positioned therein adjacent to the front. A tray is positioned in the box and is selectively extendible from the box through the front. A set of slats is engaged to a lower face of the tray with each slat being perpendicular to opposed edges of the tray. A user can lift and pull on the forward end of the tray to selectively extend is to access articles positioned thereon. The slats engage the ridge to prevent the tray from sliding until lifted.

A drawer assembly is provided for mounting beneath the bed of a truck and between the truck frame rails. The assembly includes a housing with an extendable and retractable drawer. The drawer may be mounted to the rear bumper of the truck so that the drawer and bumper move together between open and closed positions. Alternatively, the rear bumper, or portion thereof, may be moved out of the way of the drawer, which can then be opened and closed. The drawer can be opened manually, or alternatively, by remote control. The drawer assembly is hidden from view when closed and provides easy access for small objects when opened.

A vehicle rail system has a frame mountable to a vehicle, the frame having a plurality of support legs, the support legs interconnected via support beams. One or more fixed rails are mountable to the support frame, each fixed rail comprising a plurality of bearings thereon and configured to receive a sliding rail, the sliding rail having a plurality of grooves for receiving the bearings of the fixed rail so as to be slidable thereon. The bearings are located along regular intervals of the fixed rails on each non-mounted side. The sliding rail is then able to slide along the bearings of the fixed rail, extending to the exterior of the frame mounted in the vehicle.

Powered sliding platform assembly

A powered sliding platform assembly may include an actuator, a platform, and a controller. The platform may have a rail defining first and second openings configured to receive a pin of an actuator. The actuator and the rail may be arranged such that while the platform moves between extended and retracted positions, the pin rides along the rail between the openings. The controller may be programmed to, in response to a signal indicative of an object being proximate the platform, inhibit movement of the platform.
