DEVICE FOR TRAINING THE PELVIC FLOOR MUSCLES
The training device (9), which is provided for training body parts of a user, in particular the hip muscles, gluteal muscles or pelvic muscles or the arm muscles, comprises a compressive-force receiver (1), which is deformable under the impact of muscular force and which comprises a pressure chamber (10) in which a gel-like, liquid or gaseous medium is provided, a base (2) which, on the one hand, is supportable on a supporting surface and, on the other hand, serves for holding the compressive-force receiver (1), and at least one sensor (51), such as a pressure sensor or a force sensor, with which the medium is in contact and with which the pressure of the medium in the pressure chamber (10) is measurable. According to the invention the compressive-force receiver (1) comprises an elastically deformable first receiver part (11) and a second receiver part (12) which are connected form-fittingly, force-fittingly, or integrally to one another; the first receiver part (11) comprises a wall system (15) which serves to receive the muscular force and which delimits the pressure chamber (10) at the top and at least partially laterally; the second receiver part (12) comprises a bottom unit (16) which delimits the underside of the pressure chamber (10) and which adjoins the wall system (15); the second receiver part (12) has a lower elasticity than the first receiver part (11), preferably in parallel to the direction in which the muscular force acts; and the second receiver part (12) is connected releasably, form-fittingly or force-fittingly, or integrally to the base (2).
Athletic tire training device and methods
An athletic tire training device includes a compressible body having a flat surfaced top, flat surfaced base, a surrounding wall extending between the top and base, and an interior wall extending between the top and base. The surrounding wall has an exterior surface with flat sides. The interior wall surrounds an open interior volume. The body has a weight of at least 20 pounds. The training device is usable in a variety of functional training exercises.
Step Platform
A step platform for aerobic exercise may include multiple layers. The top layer may include an elastic foam member that is configured to at least partially deform when stepped on by a user. The middle layer may include a rigid support member that is configured to at least partially maintain the shape of the foam member. The foam member may include a cover that wraps around the foam member and at least a portion of the support member to fasten the support member to the foam member. The bottom layer may include a base member having a support ridge configured to at least partially restrict deformation of the foam member in at least one direction. The base member may be connectable to the support member.
TRAY FOR HOLDING EXERCISE PUTTY AND PUTTY TOOLS
A tray for storing and organizing exercise putty and putty therapy tools includes a base and a cover. The base includes a plurality of receptacles in the form of recessed portions into which exercise putty and putty therapy tools are received. The recessed portions that define the tool receptacles are particularly shaped to conform to the shape of the tools that they hold. A therapeutic exercise kit includes the tray, exercise putty and putty therapy tools.
DYNAMOMETER
A dynamometer may include a grip portion extending along a longitudinal axis for gripping by at least a portion of a human hand or foot, and a sensor or plurality of sensors distributed along or below a surface of the grip portion. The sensor or plurality of sensors are configured to detect force exerted by the portion of the human hand or foot in directions radial and tangential to the grip portion such that grip strength and wrist strength of the human may be sensed by the sensor or plurality of sensors.
RESISTANCE BAND WITH INNER WIRE CORE
An elastic, resistance band type exercise or training device which provides a user the ability to attach or secure to various objects without the need of specific attachment devices. The elastic, resistance band type exercise or training device may comprise an outer resistance band made of an elastic or stretchable material and an inner flexible member configured to change its shape, but not stretch, when a force is applied, and maintain the changed shape until a second force is applied. The inner flexible member may be coaxially aligned with said outer resistance band. The outer resistance band may have an interior region and a length. The inner flexible member may have a length that is at least less than the length of the outer resistance band, thereby forming a resistance exercise portion and an attachment portion.

Hand Therapy Kit With Presence Sensors
A hand therapy kit includes hand therapy modules and a housing having defined receptacles in which the hand therapy modules are removably disposed. A module presence sensor is disposed in each receptacle to detect the presence or absence of the corresponding hand therapy module. A microprocessor disposed in the hand therapy kit sends the module presence sensor data to a remote computer that analyzes the module presence sensor data to determine whether the patient is complying with a prescribed treatment regimen. The remote computer can generate warnings, alerts, and/or notifications when noncompliance is detected.
VARIABLE FORCE PNEUMATIC EXECISE STAFF AND METHOD
An exemplary variable force pneumatic exercise staff comprises at least one staff segment including a pneumatic cylinder and a handle element. The pneumatic cylinder is elongated and has a handle engagement end and a staff first end disposed oppositely of one another. The pneumatic cylinder is actuatable between a compressed configuration and an extended configuration such that a cylinder length is greater in the extended configuration than in the compressed configuration. The handle element is affixed to the handle engagement end. The cylinder is configured to user-adjustably provide an extension resistance force for resisting the actuation toward the extended configuration, and a compression resistance force for resisting the actuation toward the compressed configuration. The cylinder may include a resistance controller allowing a user to manually adjust the extension and compression resistance forces. A segment coupler may be configured to rigidly couple the staff segment to a second staff segment.
Pitching training aid
The present invention relates to a pitching training aid for shadow pitching training, the pitching training aid comprising: a receiving body which includes an inner receiving space and has openings at both sides thereof, and replicates a baseball in a state where a user encompasses and holds the receiving body with his/her hand or wears the receiving body on his/her fingers through the receiving space; a locking holder which is detachably inserted and fixed in the receiving space through the opening of the receiving body, and provides a locking region where locking through-holes are formed in the longitudinal direction, so as to allow at least one finger to be fitted and locked into the locking holder in the longitudinal direction, the locking holes extending in a curved shape having a predetermined curvature; and an elongated body which has a rod shape extending a predetermined length from one side of the receiving body, and provides load and vibration while being elastically deformed and restored by rotation of a user's arm.
