A ladder rack system may have a slide with a support flange and a spanning flange. The system may also have a ladder support member adapted to selectively receive a portion of the support flange therein. The system may also have a pivot bracket pivotally connected to the ladder support member. The pivot bracket may be adapted to selectively move the ladder support member.

An integrated ladder rack is provided for a truck. That integrated ladder rack includes a first side frame, a second side frame, a first cross member and a second cross member. The first side frame and the second side frame are translated from a stowed position to a deployed position and the first cross member and the second cross member are displaced to span between the deployed side frames to form a ladder rack. The related method is also disclosed.

The disclosure provides a lockable rooftop carrier clamp having a housing with a bore for accepting a frusto-conically shaped locking post. At least one, and preferably a pair of bolts are biased inwardly into the bore to capture the locking post. The bolts can be moved transversely outwardly by a cam on the outside wall of a hollow rotor located in the bore for pivotal rotation about an axis defined by the bore. The pivoting of the rotor is only allowed by the proper orientation of a tumbler core in a tumbler lock, which then allows either rotation of a release lever or retraction of a locking pin.

The disclosure provides a lockable rooftop carrier clamp having a housing with a bore for accepting a frusto-conically shaped locking post. At least one, and preferably a pair of bolts are biased inwardly into the bore to capture the locking post. The bolts can be moved transversely outwardly by a cam on the outside wall of a hollow rotor located in the bore for pivotal rotation about an axis defined by the bore. The pivoting of the rotor is only allowed by the proper orientation of a tumbler core in a tumbler lock, which then allows either rotation of a release lever or retraction of a locking pin.

An upright bicycle carrier may include an elongate base having a pair of parallel rails and a hoop-style wheel capture device. A rear wheel receiver may be adjustably coupled in sliding engagement with a first slot in each of the rails, and a rear crossbar clamp may be adjustably coupled in a second slot in each of the rails, such that the receiver and the clamp are capable of overlapping adjustment ranges. The wheel capture device may include a pair of hoop structures pivotable on a same axis of rotation and securable by a rotatable locking knob.

A fork mount upright bicycle carrier may include an elongate base having a pair of parallel rails and a fork mount device. A rear wheel receiver may be adjustably coupled in sliding engagement with a first slot in each of the rails, and a rear crossbar clamp may be adjustably coupled in a second slot in each of the rails, such that the receiver and the clamp are capable of overlapping adjustment ranges. The fork mount device may include a fixed jaw and a pivoting jaw for clamping onto a transverse member of a bicycle fork.

A fork mount upright bicycle carrier may include an elongate base having a pair of parallel rails and a fork mount device. A vehicle roof rack system is disclosed, such as a laterally extensible rail-type rack for connection to the roof or top of a vehicle. The rack rails may extend laterally and at the same time, through or over their range of extension, come down to a more accessible or lower height with respect to the ground upon which the user is standing or located with respect to the vehicle when using the rack to load or unload cargo.

A vehicle roof rack system is disclosed, such as a laterally extensible rail-type rack for connection to the roof or top of a vehicle. The rack rails may extend laterally and at the same time, through or over their range of extension, come down to a more accessible or lower height with respect to the ground upon which the user is standing or located with respect to the vehicle when using the rack to load or unload cargo.

A vehicle mounted securing system is described. A rack is secured to the vehicle. Oblong slots formed in the rack provide a variety of locations at which to secure items to the racks. Brackets, strap mounts and the like are easily and removably attached to the rack by specially shaped disks or pucks which fit within the contours of a slot. Items may be secured by one or more bracket-puck combinations inside or outside of the vehicle.
