An upper wall extends from the rear wall, wherein a lid is pivotally secured to the upper wall. A base forms the bottom section of the housing and is pivotally secured between the front wall and rear wall. The housing is movable between a collapsed configuration and an in-use configuration, wherein the in-use configuration the utility box can transport objects while secured within a bed of a truck and in the collapsed configuration the utility box is easily carried. A pair of cutouts are disposed on opposite sidewalls, wherein the cutouts receive the first or second sidewall in the collapsed configuration. A handle extends from the upper wall to allow for easy transport in the collapsed configuration.
STORAGE SYSTEM SUITABLE FOR INSTALLATION IN OR ON A VEHICLE
A storage system comprising: a pair of rails, comprising a first rail and a second rail; rail mounts for mounting the first and second rails in an at least generally parallel orientation in position on or to a supporting surface; a storage frame defining a storage space for storing items therein; a first connector for connecting the storage frame to the first rail; and a second connector for connecting the storage frame to the second rail; wherein the first connector includes a first connector rail part and a first connector frame part, with the first connector rail part provided on the first rail; and the first connector frame part provided on the storage frame, with one of the first connector rail part and the first connector frame part slidably receivable in the other of the first connector rail part and the first connector frame part.
VEHICLE RECEIVER HITCH-SUPPORTED CARGO RACK TRANSFORMABLE INTO A PICNIC TABLE WITH BENCHES
An open-top cargo box transformable into a picnic table with attached benches releaseably attaches to a skeleton carrier equipped with a draw bar that engages a vehicle receiver hitch. When configured as a cargo box, a first bench functions as a floor of the box, the centrally-folded table top functions as a rear wall, and the second bench functions as the front wall. Four side panels, each of which is rigidly secured to one end of a bench and pivotally secured to a corner of a table top half, function as side walls. When transformed into a table with attached benches, the first bench and its attached side panels are lifted upwardly and rotated rearwardly 270 degrees, while unfolding the table top. Detachable end braces interconnect the ends of both benches, forming a rigid structure. Two folding leg assemblies beneath each bench support the entire structure.
Truck Bed System
The present invention provides an easy and quick assembled and removable rack system which can have the length and width of the system adjusted. The rack system can be assembled in numerous configurations to carry various load sizes and objects. The inventive rack system includes an expandable front brace, an expandable left and right-side frame, an expandable rear brace, expandable left and right support rails, where the expandable support rails have an inner opening for receiving an inner support rail for added support when the left and right support rails are extended. The inner support rails also have an inner opening for receiving a left and right extension arm which fits inside the inner rail opening and the extension arms can be extended from the rear of the frame for added length and support when carrying longer items of for pulling out a portion of the deck panels to create a work surface area off the back of the truck or rack system. The support rails are configured to support removeable panels for providing a deck. The deck is formed from a plurality of expandable deck panels which can have the widths or length adjusted to accommodate the vehicle size. The deck panels are received by the top edge on the left and right support rails.
Storage box assembly for a vehicle
A storage box assembly for a vehicle includes a box having an upper portion having a first bottom wall and first side walls, the first bottom wall having an inner periphery and an outer periphery. The box further has a lower portion having a second bottom wall and second side walls. A first interior volume of the upper portion communicates with a second interior volume of the lower portion. The storage box assembly further includes at least one anchor mounted to the box for selectively securing the storage box assembly to the vehicle. The at least one anchor is disposed within the outer periphery of the first bottom wall, and has a bottom surface being vertically spaced from a lower surface of the second bottom wall and being disposed between the upper end of the first side walls and the second bottom wall.
Vehicle container mounting arrangements, particularly for exterior kitchens of RVs
A containment arrangement is provided having a container with vehicle connection structure which allows an opening in the container to move through a variety of different planes without limiting accessibility to the opening. In addition, the present invention includes means for attaching a container to the vehicle at a corner of the vehicle, and allowing a vertical opening in the container to be fully accessible as the container is moved from a location adjacent one side of the vehicle to a location adjacent another side of the vehicle. Preferred embodiments of the invention include a double pivot structure connecting a container, such as an exterior kitchen, to a RV, where the front of the container serves as a kitchen counter when opened, and provides access to a stove and refrigerator. In those preferred embodiments, the exterior kitchen can be selectively locked into a variety of positions, rotated with respect to the corner of the vehicle, and vertically supported on the vehicle side wall and/or the ground, without manual lifting of the container.
Tailgate-mounted collapsible storage system
The present disclosure relates to a collapsible storage system that may be mounted in a fixed position and attached to the vehicle using its tailgate without the use of any tools. The collapsible storage system may be used to securely store items in the bed of a pickup truck while in use and may be collapsed into a configuration that reduces the amount of space in the truck bed that the storage box occupies while it is not in use. The collapsible storage system may be mounted a diverse array of different trucks and other vehicles having tailgates and may be installed and uninstalled without the use of tools.
TRUCK TOOLBOX-BED COVER INTERFACES, INTEGRATED TOOLBOX ASSEMBLIES, AND RELATED ACCESSORIES
Described is a truck toolbox-bed cover interface constructed to seals the cargo area of a vehicle between a truck bed cover and a storage container, where the truck toolbox-bed cover interface does not obstruct access to the handles on the back side of a storage container.
