Implementations of the subject technology provide occupant-based audio for enclosed environments. For example, an apparatus having an enclosure and one or more speakers may determine a location and/or an identity of an occupant within an enclosed environment defined by the enclosure, and operate the one or more speakers to provide audio output to the location of the occupant. The apparatus may also operate the one or more speakers to reduce the audio output to one or more other locations within the enclosure, such as to one or more non-occupant locations and/or to one or more locations of one or more other occupants. The audio output may be occupant-specific audio output, such as a personalized notifications, in one or more implementations.

The mounting kit includes at least one bolt having a head and a shank, the head arranged to be coupled to the soundbar and the shank arranged to be received in the at least one chamber and accessible through the window to secure the soundbar to the tube. A first bracket is arranged to be secured to a cross member and first pillar of the vehicle, and a second bracket is arranged to be secured to the cross member and a second pillar of the vehicle, each of the first and second brackets having a cradle arranged to receive an end portion of the tube for installing the tube and attached soundbar in the vehicle.

In particular cases, a seat includes: a seat headrest portion; a seat backrest portion; and a loudspeaker assembly including: at least one driver for generating an acoustic output; and an acoustic exit fixed in the seat backrest portion and angled to provide the acoustic output to a location below a nominal ear position of an occupant of the seat, wherein an angle of the at least one driver provides the acoustic output to achieve a consistent frequency response across a range of positions deviating from the nominal ear position, wherein the angle of the at least one driver is configured to be adjusted in response to a recline angle of the seat reaching a threshold.

A loudspeaker arrangement comprises a frame including at least two mounting fixtures and a connecting element. The connecting element connects the at least two mounting fixtures to each other. The loudspeaker arrangement further comprises at least two loudspeakers. Each of the at least two loudspeakers is arranged in a different one of the at least two mounting fixtures. The loudspeaker arrangement further comprises an amplifier configured to amplify audio signals to be reproduced by the at least two loudspeakers. The amplifier is mechanically coupled to the connecting element between the at least two mounting fixtures.
