DETACHABLE REMOTE CONTROLLER AND REMOTE CONTROLLING METHOD FOR CONTROLLING AIR CONDITIONER OF AUTONOMOUS VEHICLE
A detachable remote controller and a remote controlling method of controlling an air conditioner of an autonomous vehicle are provided. The detachable remote controller may be configured to control the air conditioner to be detachable from a console box or a front console box by a detachment button.
MODULAR RACK ASSEMBLY FOR AUTONOMOUS VEHICLES
A modular rack assembly for autonomous vehicles, and an autonomous vehicle having said modular rack assembly. The modular rack assembly includes a rail configured for placement onto a vehicle, e.g., a roof and/or near a front windshield. The rail has at least one sensor (radar, LiDAR, camera) mounted thereon. Connector(s) are provided on the rail to connect to one or more corresponding couplings on the vehicle. The connectors are communicatively tied to the sensor(s) for sending and receiving communication via the couplings when connected thereto. Also included is a controller that connects to a computer within the vehicle to communicate with the computer and the sensor(s). Connection of the rail to the couplings establishes communication between the controller and the computer, such that the controller is configured to send and receive signals to and from the computer and to and from the sensor(s) for controlling operation and driving of the autonomous vehicle.
BRACKET DEVICE FOR USE WITH A PANEL
A bracket for use with a panel is disclosed herein. The bracket device includes rectangular-shaped right and left side surfaces along with a rectangular-shaped top side surface. The top side surface extends perpendicularly from the right side surface to the left side surface, holding the right and left side in parallel relation. The device is useful for mounting the panel onto a desired surface.
MOLD ASSEMBLY FOR AN OVERHEAD CONSOLE BUTTON CARRIER HAVING A UNITARY BODY
A mold assembly, for an overhead console button carrier having a unitary body, includes a cavity side and a core side. The core side includes at least one zero draft core insert, a first buried retractor mechanism and a first slide mechanism.
Display control device and computer-readable storage medium
A display control device is provided, which includes an image storing section for storing a plurality of captured images in association with image capturing locations on a road, and a display control section for causing a captured image to be successively displayed, the captured image corresponding to each of a plurality of positions that are identified based on a user operation, where the display control section causes the captured image and an object related to an image capturing location of the captured image to be displayed such that the object is arranged on a position of a display screen corresponding to the image capturing location.
ELECTRIC SCOOTER LIGHTING FOR IMPROVED CONSPICUITY
An electric scooter with a lighting system that includes a rear mounted light that projects light upward and toward the front of the scooter to illuminate the back of a rider, and side lights that project light to illuminate the sides of a scooter. The lighting system employs a multi-faceted approach to vary intensity and effects for improved visibility in traffic. The light system can be configured to automatically illuminate or change effects in response to road or environmental conditions, or in response to existing or future roadway infrastructure such as autonomous traffic infrastructure or adaptive traffic control systems. The light system may also be integrated with the braking system for signaling a slow down or stop. The system may be controlled by communication between an onboard processor and a personal computing device such as a smart phone that can be docked on the scooter and provide display of information and a means of input.
TELECOMMUNICATION CONTROL UNITS (TCUs) HAVING CONTOURED TOP SURFACES TO FOLLOW VEHICLE ROOF CONTOURS
Exemplary embodiments are disclosed of telecommunication control units (TCUs) having top surfaces (e.g., defined by mounting brackets, etc.) configured (e.g., curved, non-flat, contoured, etc.) to follow, match, and/or correspond with the contours (e.g., curvatures, non-flat contours, etc.) of vehicle roofs (or other vehicle body walls or mounting surfaces). Also disclosed are exemplary embodiments of TCU mounting brackets configured (e.g., curved, non-flat, contoured, etc.) to follow, match, and/or correspond with the contours (e.g., curvatures, non-flat contours, etc.) of vehicle roofs (or other vehicle body walls or mounting surfaces). Exemplary methods relating to installation of TCUs to vehicle body walls are disclosed. An exemplary method may include positioning a top surface (e.g., defined by a mounting bracket, etc.) of a telecommunication control unit against the vehicle body wall. The top surface may be configured (e.g., curved, non-flat, contoured, etc.) to match and/or correspond with a contour of the vehicle body wall.
Device for a Seat, Seat and Vehicle Having such a Device, and Method for Playing Back Media Content
A device for a seat, includes: a docking unit that is designed for connection to a mobile terminal in order to allow a data transfer from the mobile terminal to at least one media unit; and a control unit that is designed to record at least one context parameter that specifies a current surroundings situation of the device; and to actuate at least one functional unit based on the at least one context parameter in order to adjust a setting of the at least one functional unit to the current surroundings situation such that a user is able to use the at least one media unit.
Console with grounded trim ring
A vehicle console includes a trim ring disposed over a periphery of a housing. The trim ring includes a polymeric material and is electrically conductive and grounded. A proximity switch assembly is retained in the housing. The proximity switch assembly includes a proximity sensor proximate a sensing pad for generating an activation field. The sensing pad is proximate the trim ring.
Vehicle display system
Disclosed is a vehicle display system (1) for displaying an image of surroundings of a vehicle. The vehicle display system (1) includes: a display (18a) configured to display an image thereon; a camera (4, 6, 8, 10) mounted on the vehicle and configured to image surroundings of the vehicle; and a display control unit (20) configured to subject an image captured by the camera to mask processing, using a mask image (MR, MF) including a semi-transparent portion (M3, M4, M14, M16) corresponding to a vehicle body, and a portion (M8, M18, M19) corresponding to a window of the vehicle and having a transmittance lower than that of the portion corresponding to the vehicle body, to generate a masked image (D), and cause the masked image to be displayed on the display.
