Cargo cover and partition
A cargo liner for a vehicle may include a cargo area portion sized and configured to extend over a horizontally-oriented cargo area of a vehicle. The cover may also include a seatback portion coupled to the lower portion. The seatback portion may be sized and configured to extend upwardly over a seatback of a vehicle seat. The seatback portion may include a first section, a second section, and a third section. Each of the first section, the second section, and the third section may extend from an upper edge of the upper portion to the cargo area portion. The cargo liner may include a guard portion elevating mechanism that is manipulable to cause the guard portion to transition between a lowered state and an elevated state wherein at least a segment of the guard portion proximate the cargo bed portion extends upwardly to provide a rear barrier.
APPARATUS FOR RECEIVING AN OBJECT IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
An apparatus for receiving a cuboidal object, which has three side edges of different length, in a motor vehicle, having a receiving space, which has an insertion opening, the length of which corresponds at least to the length of the longest side edge of the object and whose width corresponds at least to the length of the shortest side edge of the object, but at least in sections is smaller than the length of the side edge of the object with the medium length, wherein the receiving space is of such a size that the object after being inserted through the insertion opening in the receiving space can be rotated through an angle of at least approximately 90 about its longitudinal axis and can be moved to a storage position in the receiving space.
Tail gate shroud
A shroud for a truck bed tailgate may have a set of platens adapted for engagement with a pick-up truck having truck bed, and a tailgate pivotable about a tailgate pivot axis. The set of platens may have a first platen adapted to be fixedly engaged with the truck bed, the first platen defining a hinge cover pivot axis parallel to the tailgate pivot axis. The shroud may further have a hinge cover, the hinge cover being rotatably engaged with the first platen to rotate about the hinge cover pivot axis between a first orientation wherein it extends over the elongated tailgate clearance gap, and a second orientation wherein it is clear of the tailgate when the tailgate is in the closed position.
SMARTPACKING TRAY
A vehicular cargo assembly includes first and second panels disposed in a vehicle cabin. A plurality of grooves is provided for slidably coupling the first panel to the second panel. The first panel is movable between a first position, wherein the first panel is superjacent to the second panel, and a second position, wherein the first panel is adjacent to the second panel.
Vehicle floor mat with stowable barriers
A vehicle floor mat for a passenger foot well or a cargo area of an automotive vehicle comprising a mat body and first and second barriers mounted to the mat body. The first and second barriers are moveable between a stowed position, in which the first and second barriers are at least partially received within the mat body, and a deployed position, in which the first and second barriers extend away from the mat body. Each of the first and second barriers comprises a support arm housed within a boot. When the first and second barriers are in the deployed position, opposing surfaces of the first and second barriers together define a confined region therebetween in which a package can be contained during transportation thereof.
Truck bed extension assembly
A first panel is slidably positionable in a bed of a truck. In a first position the first panel is contained in the bed. In a second position the first panel extends outwardly from a rear end to support an object that is longer than the bed. A pair of sliding units is each slidably coupled to the first panel and each of the sliding units is fastened to the bed of the pickup. Each of the sliding units facilitates the first panel to be urged between the first position and the second position while retaining the first panel in the bed of the pickup. A second panel is hingedly coupled to the first panel the second panel is positionable to be oriented perpendicular to the first panel to inhibit the object from sliding off of the first panel.
Reversible load floor
A reversible load floor for a vehicle includes a first side defining a planar surface. The reversible load floor also includes a second side disposed opposite of the first side. The second side includes a container, which extends from the second side along a vertical axis at a center of a spare tire such that, in a first position, the first side is accessible via a cargo compartment and the container is disposed over the spare tire, and, in a second position, the first side extends across a top of the spare tire and the container is accessible via the cargo compartment.
TRUCK BED LINER WITH CUSHIONING ELEMENTS
A truck bed liner is integrally molded of a thermoplastic material. Arrays of spaced-apart, endless cushioning elements downwardly depend from the bottom surface of the liner body. Notches are made in the bottom margins of the cushioning elements to permit fluid ingress to and egress from the cushioning element interiors. In one embodiment, the depth of the elements is uniform, and the top surface of the bed liner emulates the rib pattern of the truck bed. In another embodiment, the depth of the elements varies, such that a rib pattern on the top surface of the liner body can be different from the truck bed rib pattern.
