AIRBAG TETHERING CLIP ASSEMBLY

A tethering clip assembly is configured to tether first and second components of a vehicle together before and during deployment of an airbag. The tethering clip assembly may include a securing base configured to secure to the first component, a retainer configured to secure to the second component, and one or more tethers that couple the securing base to the retainer. The securing base, the retainer, and the tether(s) are integrally formed together.

ROOF MODULE

A roof module includes an antenna that is provided in a planar shape along a roof panel on a cabin inner side of the roof panel and transmits and receives electromagnetic waves. The roof panel is formed of a resin material in a planer shape and defines an exterior of a vehicle. The roof module also includes a metal panel that is formed of a metal material in a planar shape and provided along the antenna on the cabin inner side of the antenna. In this manner, the roof module can stabilize electromagnetic environments by the metal panel intentionally provided on the cabin inner side of the antenna in the vehicle the roof panel of which is formed of a non-metal material but a resin material.

DETACHABLE INTERIOR TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE

A detachable interior trim panel assembly for a vehicle is provided. The assembly includes an interior trim panel that has an inside surface, an outside surface, and a trim panel perimeter. The interior trim panel includes at least one finger and at least one spring snap that are positioned along the trim panel perimeter. The at least one finger and the at least one spring snap are configured to detachably retain the interior trim panel on a trim panel mounting location of the vehicle. The at least one finger extends outwardly from the trim panel perimeter and is sized to be received in at least one finger receptacle positioned along the trim panel mounting location and the at least one spring snap includes a moveable leg that is configured to engage at least one spring snap receptacle that is also positioned along the trim panel mounting location.

Composite Foam Article

A composite foam article is disclosed herein. The composite foam article comprises a polyurethane foam core presenting a first surface and a second surface facing opposite the first surface. A first skin is disposed on the first surface and a second skin is disposed on the second surface. The polyurethane foam core has a density of 15-80 kg/m.sup.3. The first and second skins comprise a plurality of fibers and a polymeric binder. The composite foam article has a weight per unit area of 500-1000 g/m.sup.2 and a strength of greater than 17 N at a post-compression thickness of greater than 2 mm when tested in according with SAE J949 at 23° C.
