Covering assembly for a motor vehicle
A covering assembly for a motor vehicle has a cover and a cover compartment lid for closing a cover compartment. The cover has a tensioning hoop which is pretensioned in the direction of the cover compartment lid in the closed state of the cover. A tensioning hoop seal is arranged on the cover in the region of the tensioning hoop in order to seal a gap between the cover and the cover compartment lid. A sealing surface is formed directly by the surface of the cover compartment lid.
Cabin
To improve a view of a side area from a cabin, the cabin mounted on a machine body includes a hollow rear pillar located on a rear portion of a side surface of the cabin. The rear pillar includes an interior opening through which an interior of the rear pillar is communicated with an interior of the cabin, and an exterior opening through which the interior of the rear pillar is communicated with an exterior of the cabin.
Vehicle air filtration system
An air filtration system for a vehicle includes a first inlet assembly. A second inlet assembly is in fluid communication with the first inlet assembly. A first fan is disposed within a housing and is in fluid communication with the first inlet assembly. A second fan is disposed within the housing and is in fluid communication with the second inlet assembly. A light source is disposed within the housing proximate the first and second fans. The light source emits ultraviolet light. A filter is disposed within the housing proximate the first and second fans. An outlet is in fluid communication with the first and second inlet assemblies. Air is drawn into the housing by the first and second fans, subjected to the ultraviolet light, and expelled via the outlet.
Roof structure for a vehicle
Roof structure (1) for a vehicle, wherein the roof structure (1) comprises a roof sky (2), wherein the roof sky comprises a foam or sandwich layer (3) and a surface layer (4) covering the foam or sandwich layer preferably to a vehicle interior and wherein a microphone unit (5) is arranged at the foam or sandwich layer (3), the microphone unit (5) comprises at least one mounting means (6), the foam or sandwich layer (3) comprises at least one recess (7) to receive the at least one mounting means (6) and the mounting means (6) of the microphone unit (5) in a mounted condition of the microphone unit (5) is arranged in the at least one recess (7) thereby holding the microphone unit (5) at the foam or sandwich layer (3).
Energy absorber between vehicle roof and headliner
An assembly for a vehicle includes a vehicle roof and a headliner supported by the vehicle roof. The assembly includes an energy absorber between the headliner and the vehicle roof. The energy absorber includes a wall extending transversely to the headliner and the vehicle roof. The wall includes a lattice structure including a repeating pattern of strips and open cells.
Vehicle headliner assembly system and vehicle headliner assembly method
A vehicle headliner assembly system is provided. The system includes an articulated mounting robot having multiple degrees of freedom, an assembly jig fastened to the mounting robot, a vehicle headliner coupled to the assembly jig, a gripper provided in the assembly jig and configured to engage the headliner, a pressurization unit provided and configured to pressurize the headliner to couple the headliner to a vehicle body; and a control unit. The control unit is configured to control the mounting robot to move the assembly jig, to control the gripper to attach or detach the assembly jig to or from the headliner, and to control the pressurization unit to couple the headliner to the vehicle body.
EXTRUDED AIRBAG RAMP
An extruded side curtain airbag ramp including a tear-resistant material forming at least one attachment feature and method for manufacturing said extruded side curtain airbag ramp. The airbag ramp according to the present invention incorporates a plurality of extruded materials and provides an easier manufactured product and attachment.
Roof arrangement having a liner element
A roof arrangement of a motor vehicle, the roof arrangement having a fixed roof element which is disposed rigidly and so as to not be displaceable with respect to a roof substructure and comprises a flat glass or plastic panel, and the roof arrangement having a headliner having a liner element, which forms an inner viewing area and which is connected to the fixed roof element. The fixed roof element has a mold portion manufactured according to a foaming process or injection molding process which is molded onto the glass or plastic panel and on which a fastening geometry is molded, to which the liner element is fastened.
Methods for forming a hidden audio assembly
Methods and systems are provided for a vehicle headliner. In one example, a method for forming the headliner includes forming a recess and an opening for a support structure in a base substrate layer of the headliner during heat treatment of the base substrate layer. The method further includes inserting the support structure in the recess and the opening and covering the base substrate layer with a skin. A positioning of the support structure within the base substrate layer allows an outline of the support structure to be undetectable through the skin by sight or touch.
