License plate support mechanism and work vehicle equipped with license plate support mechanism
A license plate support mechanism is equipped with an attachment portion to which a license plate can be attached, a fixation portion fixating the attachment portion to a vehicle body, and a switching mechanism. The switching mechanism couples the attachment portion to the fixation portion such that the attachment portion is capable of displacing relative to the fixation portion. The switching mechanism also enables the attachment portion to switch between a storage position, in which the attachment portion is stored on a left/right direction inward side of a left/right pair of rear wheel fenders, and a display position, in which the attachment portion is positioned on the left/right direction outward side of the left/right pair of rear wheel fenders.
Anti-theft license plate holder
A device for securing a display to a vehicle grill and a method for securing the display to prevent theft are disclosed. The device includes a display holder that can hold license plates or other visual displays. The display holder includes a set of lower levers with hooks configured to engage a first portion of the vehicle grill. The display holder includes a set of upper levers with hooks configured to engage a second portion of the vehicle grill. The device includes a locking mechanism with a lock and a ratchet gear. The lock is attached to a front plate of a linear motion module. The locking mechanism includes a cam which is secured onto an end of the lock. The cam and the lock rotate together when a fitted key is turned.
Reflective / Protective license plate and method of making.
This invention is directed toward a novel license plate that has both superior optical qualities and security features that make it very difficult to counterfeit. The license plate has three basic layers: an outer layer of lenticular material and provides a lenticular optical display, a middle layer of reflective material that is very difficult to duplicate, thereby providing enhanced security characteristics to make counterfeiting very difficult, and a base layer made from aluminum which provides structural stability.
SELF-ADAPTIVE MULTIRESOLUTION DIGITAL-PLATE FOR MULTIMODAL ENHANCED SAFETY OF VEHICLES
Techniques are disclosed to realize a self-adaptive multiresolution digital plate (SAMDP) system that facilitates sharing of vehicle state information via a dynamically generated binary two-dimensional multispectral pattern. The binary 2D multispectral pattern adjusts its resolution to adapt to the visual perception process while communicating vehicle state information without relying on wireless communications (i.e. V2V, V2X, etc.). The techniques as described herein leverage the use of a multichannel spectral means that helps lower the error present in sensing and representation models used by automated driving systems.
Hands-On Wheel, Transparent Multi-Pocket Pouch for Displaying Personal Identification Documents
A hands-on wheel, transparent multi-pocket pouch for displaying personal identification documents uses a multi-pocket pouch, a transparent exterior pocket and an external device fastener to mount a user's identification documents on the steering wheel of a vehicle. The multi-pocket pouch includes a transparent enclosure that has an interior pocket. The transparent exterior pocket includes a front face of the multi-pocket pouch to hold prioritized documents (e.g., a driver's license) above important, but lower priority, identification (and supporting) documents stored within the multi-pocket pouch. Supporting documents may include vehicle registration, proof of insurance, etc. The external device fastener may be connected to a rear face of the multi-pocket pouch so that the multi-pocket pouch can be attached to the vehicle's steering wheel. The present apparatus may also be made of flexible materials capable of conforming to the shape of the steering wheel.
CUSTOMIZABLE AND ILLUMINATED LICENSE PLATE FRAME
A customizable and illuminated license plate frame, the frame includes a perimeter section having a receiving cavity for receiving a license plate of a vehicle; a second frame member pivotably connected with the perimeter section and having an opening and a plurality of fastening apertures arranged around the opening; a translucent panel detachably coupled on the opening of the second frame member and operable to press against the license plate; at least one hinge operational between the perimeter second and the second frame member; a plurality of tiles detachably attached on the fastening apertures of the second frame member; and a plurality of LED light arranged on the second frame member to illuminate the tiles and the license plate.
External vehicle notification information system and vehicle having the same
An external vehicle notification information system may include a projector illuminating generated information using a light source, a lens transmitting the information, a reflector reflecting partial information of the information toward the lens, and a screen displaying the partial information transmitted from the lens.
TOW EYE LICENSE PLATE MOUNTING SYSTEM
A license plate mounting system for use with a vehicle tow eye socket. The license plate mounting system can include a shaft configured to releasably couple with the tow eye socket. A mounting plate configured to support a vehicle license plate. The mounting system also includes a swivel assembly configured to couple the mounting plate to the shaft, and to permit rotation of the mounting plate relative to the shaft about an adjustment axis. The swivel assembly can have a first swivel portion defining a curved surface having an arc length and a second swivel portion having an engagement surface that engages the curved surface. The engagement surface engages only a portion of the curved surface in any particular relative position. The second swivel portion is movable along the curved surface to permit angular adjustment of the mounting plate about the adjustment axis.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front structure includes a front bumper face positioned in front of a front bumper beam, wherein the front bumper face includes an upper face member provided with a license plate mounting portion, and a lower face member provided with an external air introduction opening. The vehicle body front structure further includes a front panel positioned above the upper face member.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front structure, including a front bumper face positioned in front of a front bumper beam, and an ornamental front panel located above the front bumper face; wherein the front panel includes at least a substantially vertically extending vertical surface and an inclined surface continuous with the vertical surface, and the inclined surface is provided with a transmitting member configured to transmit radio wave or light, a radar device or an image capturing device being positioned behind the transmitting member.
