INVISI-PLATE
A license plate holder is implemented which displays a license plate from inside of a vehicle while positioned on the inside dashboard. The license plate holder comprises a base, a receiving portion, and a slot on the receiving portion into which the license plate is inserted. The receiving portion may be attached to the base using a hinge that can lock in multiple positions. The base of the holder further includes a light bar with one or more LEDs (light emitting diodes) and a switching panel. The light bar can illuminate the license plate and improve visibility at night time. The one or more LEDs are powered by a power source, such as batteries, which are disposed within the base of the license plate holder. The user can activate and deactivate the light bar in different colors using the switching panel.
TEMPORARY, MAGNETIC LICENSE PLATE HOLDER DEVICE
A license plate holder device for temporarily securing a plate, for example a vehicle dealer license plate, to a vehicle, in particular to existing license plate hardware such as bolts or screws having heads. The license plate holder device temporary attachment mechanism is two-fold, providing both a magnetic connection to the existing license plate hardware and a physical contact with the existing hardware that supports against a shearing force substantially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the hardware.
Power and communication modes for digital license plate
A digital license plate system having various power and communication modes to improve performance and increase expected battery life is disclosed. In one embodiment, a response to a sensor triggered plate event requires determination of whether a vehicle is running, parked or in-motion. This determination involves waking the processor, establishing wireless connectivity, and determining if the vehicle is in motion based on local sensor data.
ELECTRONIC LICENSE PLATE AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING THE SAME
The disclosure discloses an electronic license plate and a method for manufacturing the same. The electronic license plate comprises a substrate, and a surface acoustic wave device and an electronic ink display component on the substrate; wherein the surface acoustic wave device is configured to receive information from, and transmit information to, an external device; the electronic ink display component is connected with the surface acoustic wave device, and configured to display information stored in the electronic ink display component and information received by the surface acoustic wave device.
Mounting plate for vehicle bike racks
The present invention solves the problems described above by presenting an improved mounting plate for vehicle bike racks allowing the user to directly mount a vehicle license plate to the mounting plate such that the license plate is visible and not obstructed by the bikes positioned on the vehicle bike rack. The mounting plate for vehicle bike racks includes a rigid body having a flat mounting surface, a plurality of holes positioned on the flat mounting surface, a pair of rotatable arms and a pair of connection members configured to attach to a vehicle bike rack.
License plate frame with emergency lighting
A license plate frame assembly a housing and a first plurality of lighting elements. The housing is adapted for mounting to a vehicle and has first and second generally opposed pairs of side members defining a central aperture dimensioned for a vehicle license plate to be visible therethrough. Each of the first pair of side members defines a first plurality of lighting element apertures therein. The first plurality of lighting elements is arranged in the housing under the first plurality of lighting element apertures, and mounted in the housing such that light emitted thereby from the first pair of side members is oriented along intersecting first axes at acute angles relative to a plane of the vehicle license plate.
A WARNING DEVICE FOR A VEHICLE
A warning device for a vehicle comprising a number plate support portion for supporting a number plate. The warning device further comprises a warning indicator. The number plate support portion is movably attached to the warning indicator. The number plate support portion is moveable from a first position covering the warning indicator to a second position revealing the warning indicator. Further, the warning device comprises a number plate support portion pivotably attached to the warning Indicator such that the number plate support portion and the warning device fold together and fold apart when the number plate support portion is moved between the first position and the second position.
Prismatic retroreflective sheeting including infrared absorbing material
A prismatic retroreflective sheeting includes a structured layer that includes a plurality of cube corner elements including a reduced tungsten oxide, a radiation-treated region, and a non-radiation-treated region. The prismatic retroreflective sheeting includes also includes an information-containing layer above the structured layer. The information-containing layer includes at least one indicia defining an edge. The radiation-treated region of the structured layer is adjacent and below at least part of the edge of the at least one indicia.
LICENSE PLATE FRAME CLIP APPARATUS FOR DISPLAYING INDICIA THEREON AND METHODS OF USING THE SAME
License plate frame clip apparatuses provide a display surface to display indicia, such as an image, words, symbols, or other like indicia. The clip apparatuses comprise at least one slot comprising a recessed surface, a first end, a second end, a first side wall extending from the recessed surface, and a second side wall extending from the recessed surface, each of the side walls comprising a flange configured to hook onto a back side of a license plate frame when the frame is disposed within the slot. Methods of using the same are further provided.
LICENSE PLATE SUPPORT ASSEMBLY
A license plate support assembly includes a main bracket defining a license plate support surface. First and second turn signal assemblies include respective electrically-actuatable turn signals and are coupled to the main bracket and positioned alongside respective first and second lateral sides of the license plate support surface. At least one of the first and second turn signal assemblies is adjustably mounted with respect to the main bracket to accommodate license plates of different widths.
