License plate frames including impact protection features
A license plate frame includes a base portion and a perimeter portion. The base portion includes a plurality of fastener openings, and each of the plurality of fastener openings is configured to receive a fastener for securing the license plate frame and a license plate to a vehicle. The perimeter portion is connected to and extends outwardly from the base portion. The perimeter portion includes a plurality of walls, the plurality of walls includes a first wall, and the first wall includes at least one compression opening.
ADJUSTABLE LENGTH COMPLETE COVERAGE LICENSE PLATE BUMPER GUARD
A vehicle bumper guard assembly adapted for use on a vehicle having a license plate and a bumper. The preferred vehicle bumper guard assembly comprises a license plate frame having at least one frame attachment structure and being adapted to receive and retain the license plate. The preferred vehicle bumper guard assembly also comprises at least one lateral assembly having a first end, a second end, and at least one pad. In the preferred vehicle bumper guard assembly, the first end of the lateral assembly comprises a first lateral assembly attachment means adapted to be attached to the at least one frame attachment structure of the license plate frame, the second end of the lateral assembly comprises a second lateral assembly attachment means adapted to be attached to the vehicle, and the at least one pad is disposed adjacent to the bumper of the vehicle.
NOVEL PORTABLE DEVICE HAVING A CHANGEABLE ILLUMINATED DISPLAYAND COMMUNICATIONS PLATFORM
The present invention relates generally to illuminated display devices and methods of displaying indicia, advertisements, etc. on a changeable illuminated display. The display device comprises a frame structure, a plurality of openings formed in the frame structure, the plurality of openings comprising first and second open spaces disposed at top and bottom positions, respectively, of the frame structure, and the plurality of openings further comprising a third open space disposed between the first and second open spaces. The display device further comprises a compact image display device operable to display an image, the compact image display device held and positioned relative to the frame structure such that first, second, and third different portions of the image, when displayed by the compact image display device, are visible through the plurality of openings first, second, and third open spaces, respectively. Additionally, control circuitry is coupled to the compact image display device.
Protective frame
Disclosed is improved automobile license plate frame design. By having a slit surrounding the edge of the automobile license plate frame, the frame can be inserted onto the automobile license plate without need of removing the plate. The similar set up also can be used for other devices.
VEHICLE CAMERA PERIPHERAL
A vehicle camera peripheral. It has a frame having a surface for supporting a license plate, at least one compartment for containing a battery and a circuit board having a wireless transmitter and video transmission circuitry, the compartment provided in the frame and positioned behind the license plate supporting surface, a camera mounted to the frame and connected to the circuit board, and a mounting for connecting the frame to existing license plate fastening devices of a vehicle.
LICENSE PLATE FOR A VEHICLE
License plates (10) and number plates of vehicles are frequently forged or used for altered or stolen vehicles. To prevent this, license plates (10) are known, with which a contactlessly readable identification means (19) is associated in a license plate surface (12). This identification means (19) contains relevant data of the vehicle to which the license plate (10) belongs. As the license plate surface (12) is provided, primarily for motor vehicle identification or as a surface for the lettering (15), with numbers and digits for identification purposes, only little space or limited space remains for a further identification means (19). The invention provides a license plate (10) for a vehicle having an identification means (19), in which the at least one identification means (19) is associated with the periphery (13) of the license plate (10) which surrounds the license plate surface (12).
SECURE ATTACHMENT
An automobile license plate attachment device includes a wheel part that includes a slot located between two ridges at an outer circumference of the wheel part. A fastener attaches the wheel part over a license plate. An externally threaded structure is shaped to fit over and cover the wheel part when the wheel part is attached over the license plate. The externally threaded structure includes at least one screw hole into which a headless socket screw can be attached to extend into the slot of the wheel part. The headless socket screw holds the externally threaded structure to the license plate. An internally threaded structure with threads matched allows screwing the internally threaded structure on the externally threaded structure. The externally threaded structure includes a slot into which a tool may be placed to prevent the externally threaded structure from spinning around the wheel part when the internally threaded structure is screwed on and off the externally threaded structure.
License Plate Holder
A license plate holder has a perimeter capable of holding a number plate. The perimeter has a upper rim, a right rim, a left rim and a lower rim forming an opening through which a license place may be visible. The license plate has both at least one camera lens and at least one proximity sensor attached to it.
Secure attachment
A license plate attachment device includes a cap that covers a nut or a screw used to attach a license plate to an automobile or frame attached to the automobile frame. An anchor bearing anchors the license plate to the automobile or frame so that an outer periphery of the anchor bearing rotates freely while the anchor bearing is held tightly in place on the automobile or frame. The anchor bearing has a slot located at the outer periphery. The cap is secured to the anchor bearing using a first headless socket screw and a second headless socket screw. A socket size of the first headless socket screw is different than a socket size of the second headless socket screw.
Vehicle Backing System
A vehicle backing system includes a vehicle that has a back side. A frame is removably coupled to the back side. An electronic device is provided and the electronic device may be held. A video unit is coupled to the frame. The video unit records video footage of an area adjacent to the back side. The video unit is in electrical communication with the electronic device. Thus, the electronic device may display the video footage thereby facilitating the vehicle to be backed into the area.
