SUBFRAME FOR VEHICLE
In a vehicle subframe 1, fragile portions 124 and 144 of a first side member 110 are deformed to be bent by crash load applied from the front side to the rear side in frontal crash of a vehicle, from crushed portions of fragile portions 126 and 146 of the first side member 110 as start points, and fragile portions 164 and 184 of a second side member 150 are deformed to be bent by the crash load from crushed portions of fragile portions 166 and 186 of the second side member 150 as start points.
VEHICLE REAR BUMPER ASSEMBLY
A vehicle rear bumper assembly includes a vehicle body structure, an exhaust system and a rear bumper fascia. The exhaust system is attached to the vehicle body structure and has an exhaust pipe. The rear bumper fascia has a main body and a finisher extension. The main body is attached to the vehicle body structure and has a recessed area shaped and dimensioned to complement the shape of the exhaust pipe. The finisher extension extends away from the main body proximate the recessed area. The main body and the finisher extension are formed with a living hinge therebetween such that the finisher extension is pivotable about the living hinge from an extending orientation to a finishing orientation. In the extending orientation, the finisher extension is spaced apart from the recessed area. In the finishing orientation, the finisher extension is located within the recessed area adjacent to the exhaust pipe.
Radiator support upper member assembly
A radiator support upper member assembly includes: an upper inner panel including an inner flange protruding toward a front direction, and an upper outer panel including an outer flange, wherein the outer flange protrudes toward the front direction and is configured to overlap the inner flange and form a front flange, and the upper inner panel and the upper outer panel are joined and form a closed cross-section.
Bumper reinforcement
A bumper reinforcement includes an aluminum alloy extrusion body having a pair of flanges to be positioned on a vehicle body side and on a collision side and a pair of webs to be positioned in a vehicle vertical direction. The pair of webs connect the pair of flanges at joint portions such that the pair of webs and the pair of flanges form a closed cross section, and the pair of webs do not have a welded portion.
RADIATOR SUPPORT UPPER MEMBER ASSEMBLY
A radiator support upper member assembly includes: an upper inner panel including an inner flange protruding toward a front direction, and an upper outer panel including an outer flange, wherein the outer flange protrudes toward the front direction and is configured to overlap the inner flange and form a front flange, and the upper inner panel and the upper outer panel are joined and form a dosed cross-section.
Bumper attachment for receiving a truck accessory
A bumper attachment for a truck accessory including a bumper assembly, a power systems assembly and an attachment assembly. The bumper assembly is coupled to the front end of a truck. The power assembly is mounted to the bumper assembly. The power assembly includes hydraulic connectors, blade connectors, and pneumatic. The attachment assembly is coupled to the bottom end of the truck and extends beyond the front end of the bumper. Furthermore, the attachment assembly includes a bracket and frame that can be positioned in various configurations to allow receive different attachments. The bracket can receive hydraulic and electronic attachments which are then operatively coupled to the power systems assembly.
Vehicle front structure
A vehicle front structure includes: side frames of a vehicle front part; a bumper reinforcement attached to front ends of the side frames; a load transmission member attached to a side end portion of the bumper reinforcement; and a cover member attached to a rear end of the load transmission member. The cover member is an L-shaped section member in which an outer surface of a corner part of the cover member has a curved surface, the cover member extending in the vehicle up-down direction. The cover member is attached such that an upper end of the cover member projects upward from an upper face of the load transmission member, and the cover member covers an inner portion, in the vehicle width direction, of the rear end of the load transmission member.
Rear module
A rear module for a vehicle includes a crossmember that extends along a transverse direction and is connected to the vehicle body and a bumper connected to the crossmember. The bumper includes an aperture. The rear module further includes a reversing camera that protrudes through the bumper, and a first impact element and a second impact element arranged on the bumper to a respective first side and a respective second side of the reversing camera and at a lateral spacing, in the transverse direction, from the reversing camera. The first impact element and the second impact element protrude, in the longitudinal direction, beyond the reversing camera and/or the bumper.
Energy absorption member and energy absorption structure
Provided is an energy absorption member including a plate shaped rear wall portion which extends in a vehicle width direction; and an extension wall portion that extends in the vehicle width direction and extends forward from an intermediate part in a height direction of the rear wall portion; wherein the rear wall portion takes on an arch shape that projects forward in a plan view, and the extension wall portion is inclined downward or upward from its rear end part toward its front end part.
Vehicle front structure
A vehicle front structure includes: a bumper reinforcement attached to a front end of a side frame in a vehicle front part; and a load transmission member attached at a position offset upward from the center of a side end portion of the bumper reinforcement. The load transmission member is joined to a front face of the side end portion such that a front end portion projects forward in the vehicle front-rear direction from the front face of the side end portion. A plate is provided at a position offset downward from the center of the side end portion in the up-down direction, the position being a position where the plate overlaps the front end portion when the plate is viewed from above in the vehicle up-down direction. The plate projects forward in the vehicle front-rear direction to the same extent as the front end portion.
