A light element for a bodywork component is provided. The light element includes at least one light source and a light guide, where the light guide forms a profile of an open cross-section, comprising: a first element made of injection-molded transparent polycarbonate, defining, along substantially the entire length of the profile, a zone (ZT) that is transparent to the light emitted by the light source; at least one second element made of injection-molded black polycarbonate, defining, along substantially the entire length of the profile, a zone (ZO) that is opaque to the light emitted by the light source;
the light source emitting light from inside the profile toward the transparent and opaque zones.

BUG SCREEN AND METHOD OF MOUNTING

A bug screen for mounting to a grille of a vehicle comprises a membrane disposed in a frame. At least one slot is disposed on the frame, and at least one platform is disposed on the grille. At least one extension is disposed on the at least one platform. A leg is included in the at least one extension. The leg projects perpendicularly from the at least one platform and has an end opposite to the at least one platform. A barb is disposed on the end of the leg. A sloping surface is disposed on the barb, and the sloping surface passes through the at least one slot on the frame to mount the bug screen to the grille.

Passive illuminated grille

A vehicle grille assembly is disclosed that is passively illuminated by accent lighting sources provided in a corresponding headlamp assembly. A primary light guide in communication with a light source and a secondary light guide is disposed within the vehicle grill. The secondary light guide receives light from the primary light guide to illuminate a portion of the vehicle grille.

FLIP DOT DISPLAY APPARATUS FOR VEHICLE

A flip dot display apparatus for a vehicle includes a plurality of flip dot units disposed in a front grill disposed at a front bumper of the vehicle, and configured to transfer either one or both of notice information on a state of the vehicle and notice information on driving of the vehicle to an oncoming vehicle or a pedestrian. Each flip dot unit among the plurality of flip dot units includes: a housing having an opening formed on one side thereof and a space formed therein; and a flip disk rotatably installed in the housing and configured to open or close the opening.

FRONT VEHICLE-BODY STRUCTURE OF VEHICLE

A front vehicle-body structure flows air from the vehicle lower side to its upper side. After hitting a front bumper face, the air is separated and flows around and along a top face of an exterior member, ensuring aerodynamic performance. Embodiments include exterior members covering the upper side of an engine room, and a front grille disposed on a lower side relative to a front end portion of the exterior member. A rectification member extends the width of the exterior member in the vehicle width direction on the lower side of the exterior member front end portion. The rectification member includes a front piece portion extending toward the vehicle up-down-direction lower side from the exterior member to an upper end portion of the front grille, and a lower piece portion extending toward the vehicle rear side from an upper end of the front piece portion.
