VEHICLE FRAME COMPONENT
A vehicle frame component for limiting the movement of the wheel of the vehicle toward the cab of a cab on frame vehicle including a base member welded to openings in the frame side rail and extending outwardly and located proximal the wheel structure. In one embodiment the vehicle frame component is located forward of the wheel and includes a tire puncture device to deflate the tire during an offset front impact and in a second embodiment the vehicle frame component is located rearward of the wheel. The vehicle frame component has particular utility during an offset front impact where the offset is less than approximately twenty-five percent (25%) of the width of the vehicle.
VEHICLE BODY STRUCTURE WITH IMPACT ABSORBING PART
A vehicle body structure includes a frame impact absorbing part extending from the side of a left front side frame in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body. The frame impact absorbing part includes first and second frame bending members that form a frame tubular body, upper and lower frame flanges projecting outward from the frame tubular body, upper and lower first fragile portions that divide the frame flanges in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle body, and a plurality of frame rigid portions formed at a rear end of the frame tubular body on the rear side of the vehicle body with respect to the first fragile portions.
VEHICLE BODY FRONT SECTION STRUCTURE
A vehicle body front section structure includes a front side member, an outer side frame member, a linking member, and a reinforcing structure. The outer side frame member is disposed separated from the front side member at a vehicle width direction outer side, has a vehicle front-rear direction rear end connected to an apron section or to a front pillar, and has a vehicle front-rear direction front end side overlapping with a vehicle front-rear direction front end side of the front side member in side view. The linking member links the vehicle front-rear direction front end side of the front side member and the vehicle front-rear direction front end side of the outer side frame member, and is input with a collision load. The reinforcing structure reinforces the outer side frame member at a portion of the outer side frame member overlapping with the front side member in side view.
Vehicular seat
A vehicular seat includes: a seat cushion that is disposed offset with respect to a vehicle width direction center of a vehicle; an airbag that is provided in the seat cushion and which, upon receiving a supply of gas, is expanded and deployed in such a way as to suppress a seated occupant from moving toward the front of the vehicle; and gas supplying device which, when actuated at the time of a frontal impact of the vehicle, supplies gas to the airbag in such a way that a vehicle width direction outer side section of the airbag with respect to a vehicle width direction center of the seat cushion is expanded and deployed before an inner side section.

OCCUPANT PROTECTION DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an occupant protection device including: side support sections pair provided at a seat width direction left and right of a seatback; an outside bag body, provided inside an outside side support section out of the side support sections pair which is disposed at a window section side, that displaces the outside side support section by gas being supplied to and inflating an interior portion of the outside bag body; an inside bag body, provided inside an inside side support section out of the side support sections pair which is disposed at opposite side of the outside side support section, that displaces the inside side support section by gas being supplied to and inflating an interior portion of the inside bag body; and a communicating connection member that places the outside bag body and the inside bag body in communication.
Vehicle front structure
A vehicle front structure includes: a pair of right and left front side members extending in the vehicle front-rear direction; load receiving members each projecting from a corresponding one of the front side members outward in the vehicle-width direction, having an outer side surface in the vehicle-width direction, which is tilted inward in the vehicle-width direction from the vehicle front side toward the vehicle rear side; and protruding members each disposed forward of a corresponding one of the load receiving members in the vehicle front-rear direction, each protruding forward in the vehicle front-rear direction, and each having a front end portion and a rear end portion, the rear end portion being fixed at a position at which at least a part of the protruding member overlaps with the corresponding load receiving member in a front view of the vehicle, and the front end portion being a free end.
IMPACT DETERMINATION DEVICE
The impact determination device includes an internal sensor including an acceleration sensor that detects an acceleration including components in the front-rear direction and the left-right direction of the host vehicle, an external sensor that detects an object around the host vehicle, a threshold setting unit that sets a threshold for determining an impact caused by an object on the host vehicle, and an impact determination unit that determines an impact when the acceleration of each of the components is equal to or greater than the threshold. The threshold setting unit recognizes an impact form of the object with respect to the host vehicle based on a detection result of the external sensor, and sets a threshold for each component of the acceleration in accordance with the impact form.
CURTAIN-TYPE SIDE AIRBAG AND CURTAIN-TYPE AIRBAG MODULE
The invention describes a curtain side airbag (10), in particular for protection of a head area of a vehicle occupant (40), for a vehicle occupant restraint system (100), comprising a main cushion (12) formed by one or more chambers which, when deployed and filled, extends along a longitudinal direction of the vehicle (x) between the vehicle occupant (40) and a side structure of a vehicle (54) and includes an inner fabric layer (14) facing the vehicle occupant (40) as well as an outer fabric layer (16) facing the side structure of the vehicle, wherein, on the inner fabric layer (14), an additional friction-reducing impact layer (18) is arranged which covers at least part of the inner fabric layer (14) and is connected to the inner fabric layer (14) in such a way that the friction-reducing impact layer (18) is movable relative to the inner fabric layer (14) at least in the longitudinal direction of the vehicle (x), and describes a curtain airbag module (70) comprising a curtain side airbag (10) according to the invention.
