Golf cart safety platform with interchangeable handle bars
Disclosed is a golf cart safety platform with interchangeable handle bars. Said platform, rectangular in shape, is attached to the golf cart's floor, via a strong, metal-bonding adhesive. Attached to the platform's top surface, via similar metal-bonding method, is a single, or a plurality of stanchion bases. Each stanchion base incorporates a vertical socket, accepting a socket pin. The pin locks in place the interchangeable handle bars, with relative ease, and without the need for the metal-bonding adhesives. The handle bars come in different shapes and sizes, including but not limited to: I-shaped, H-shaped, U-shaped and goalpost-shaped bars. Each of the handle bars may be outfitted with a food and accessory tray. The tray provides its end-users, thus the golf cart driver and its passenger, with the ability to store food and small, personal objects. In addition to its storage capabilities, the tray also incorporates two, oval-shaped, grip handlesproviding the end-users with extra surfaces to hold on to, when driving the golf cart through difficult terrain.
Utility vehicle
A ROHVA compliant side restraint is disclosed which is movable between first and second positions wherein the first position the side restraint encompasses Point R, and in the second position the side restraint does not encompass Point R, increasing the accessibility for ingress and egress.
VEHICLE OPEN-WINDOW COVER WITH PET VISIBILITY
The present invention provides safe, easy way for a pet to see out the window of a vehicle. In an embodiment of the invention, a vehicle window cover made of inelastic material with visibility openings fits over an entire rear vehicle window from the top of the door to the bottom of the window panel by sliding over the top of the door when it is open, thus being securely fixed to the window upon opening the door. The covering is a bag-like, panel that allows a pet to see out by peering through an opening or openings that correspond to its height in the panel, thus allowing a pet to stand at the window or sit on a booster seat and look out of an opening while exposing only its head and ears.
Linear blocking apparatus having a linear device which is longitudinally displaceable along an axis and is guided in a housing, and modular system for the securement and release of persons, objects or the like, having a linear blocking apparatus of this type
A linear blocking apparatus has a linear device which is longitudinally displaceable along an axis and is guided in a housing. It is possible to switch back and forth, by means of a connectable or integrated switching device, between two motional states of the linear device. The linear device acts directly or indirectly on a rotary device. The rotary device, in dependence on the motional direction of the linear device, can be set in rotation in diverse rotational directions. A, in particular mechanical, blocking device is present, which is, or can be brought, directly or indirectly into operative connection with the rotary device. The blocking device is actuable by the switching device, whereby it is possible to switch back and forth between a first motional state and a second motional state of the linear device, and hence between the possible rotational directions of the rotary device.
Auxiliary seating system for light weight utility vehicle
An auxiliary seating system for a light weight utility vehicle that comprises a seat support cage attachable to a rear portion of the vehicle, and a pair of seat assemblies mounted to the cage structure such that each seat assembly is oriented to be facing at least partially inward toward a longitudinal center line of the vehicle. Each seat assembly comprises a seat bottom that is pivotal between a down position and an up position. Each seat assembly can include a golf bag yoke disposed on an underside of the seat bottom, and a seat belt that retains a passenger within the seat assembly when the seat bottom is in the down position, and retains a golf bag within the respective golf bag yoke when the seat bottom is in the up position.
Systems and methods for deployable reaction surface for roof rail airbag system
An occupant restraint system of a vehicle includes a roof rail airbag that is located at a roof rail of the vehicle and above a door of the vehicle and that is configured to deploy in an outboard direction. A deployment device, when triggered, deploys the roof rail airbag. An actuator, when triggered, actuates a deployable reaction surface (i) from a first state where the deployable reaction surface is stowed behind interior door trim and does not block any part of a window opening of the door when viewed from inboard of the deployable reaction surface (ii) to a second state where the deployable reaction surface blocks at least a portion of the window opening of the door when viewed from inboard of the deployable reaction surface.
CURTAIN AIRBAG, CURTAIN AIRBAG APPARATUS, AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING CURTAIN AIRBAG APPARATUS
A curtain airbag is folded and stored in an upper portion of a vehicle body under normal circumstances, and is inflated and expanded along a side window in emergency situations. The curtain airbag includes a front chamber to be inflated and expanded along the side window of a front seat of the vehicle body; a first gas supply port to supply gas to the front chamber, the first gas supply port being disposed at an upper portion of the front chamber; a sub-chamber smaller than the front chamber and disposed above the front chamber; and a second gas supply port disposed rearward of the sub-chamber, and communicated with and narrower than the first gas supply port. The sub-chamber is stored in a state of being folded on a front surface of the front chamber on a vehicle interior side at a portion of the second gas supply port.
Vehicle device for protecting passengers from being thrown out
A vehicle device for protecting passengers from being thrown out is disposed at an inner side of a window of a vehicle. The vehicle device includes two rail units disposed at two opposing sides of the window and a block unit disposed between the rail units. The block unit is connected with a drive unit. The drive unit is connected with a control unit. When the control unit detects that the vehicle is about to roll, the control unit will actuate the drive unit to drive the block unit so that the block unit is rapidly unfolded to block the entire window. Thereby, when the vehicle is rolling, the vehicle device can effectively protect the passengers from being thrown out of the vehicle, improving the safety of the vehicle greatly.
