3-Point convertible seat belt anchor assembly
The 3-Point Convertible Seat Belt Anchor Assembly is unique because the bracket's design facilitates the ability to mount a 3-point retractable seat belt system. The webbing of the seat belt will rest higher on the shoulder of the passenger(s), creating a safer angle across the torso which will restrain the passenger(s) in the event of a vehicular collision.
SEATBELT DEVICE
In a seatbelt device, when paying out webbing from a spool of a webbing take-up device to fit the webbing over the body of an occupant, drive of a first motor of the webbing take-up device is controlled based on the magnitude of a signal level of a load detection signal output by a load sensor according to the physical build of the occupant, and pulse data stored in a storage unit corresponding to each signal level of the load detection signal.
Seat Belt Apparatus, Vehicle Seat, and Vehicle
A seat belt apparatus includes a main belt, a first buckle that is disposed on an extended part of the main belt and that can be buckled and fastened to a second side of the vehicle seat corresponding to a waist on the other side of the passenger, and an auxiliary belt extending from a second part of a backrest of the vehicle seat corresponding to an underarm of the passenger, where the second part is lower than the first part. The apparatus is configured such that in the event a body of the passenger slides forward relative to the vehicle seat, the underarm of the passenger is blocked by the auxiliary belt.
Anchor positioning systems
A restraint positioning system includes a first rail that extends along a first axis, and a first bracket that is coupled to the first rail such that the first bracket is selectively positionable along the first rail, the first bracket configured for attachment of an anchor thereto. The restraint positioning system also includes a second rail that extends along a second axis, and a second bracket that is coupled to the second rail such that the second bracket is selectively positionable along the second rail, the second bracket configured for attachment of an anchor thereto.
VEHICLE SEATBELT ASSEMBLY
A seatback portion has a tether passageway defined therein from proximate an upper section to proximate a lower section thereof. A seatbelt tether includes a tensioning mechanism, a tether ring and a connecting portion that extends from the tether ring to the tensioning mechanism. The connecting portion extends through the tether passageway with the tether ring located at the upper section outside the seatback portion. The tether ring is shaped and dimension to slide-ably receive a seatbelt. The tensioning mechanism selectively applies tension to the tether ring. In a non-tensioned state the tether ring is movable to an upper outboard side of the seatback portion. In a tensioned state the tether ring is pulled toward a headrest supporting section of the seatback portion inboard and away from the upper outboard side of the seatback portion.
SEAT BELT APPARATUS
A seat belt apparatus provided in a front door of a vehicle, comprises a retractor provided in the front door and configured to retract a webbing for constraining an occupant so as to be pulled out, a belt anchor provided in the front door and attached with one end of the webbing, and a latch configured to engage the front door to a vehicle body. The latch is provided between the retractor and the belt anchor in a longitudinal direction of the vehicle body.
SEATBELT CONTROLLING DEVICE
There is provided a seatbelt controlling device including: a seatbelt that has an engaging portion, and that restrains a vehicle occupant seated in a vehicle seat; a sensing portion that is provided at the vehicle seat, and that senses seating of a vehicle occupant; a buckle that is capable of being raised and lowered or capable of being moved forward and rearward, and that is engaged with the engaging portion; a buckle moving portion that raises and lowers an engaged position of the engaging portion and the buckle, or moves the engaged position forward and rearward; and a control section that effects control to operate the buckle moving portion such that the buckle is raised or is moved forward after a set time elapses from a point in time when seating of a vehicle occupant is sensed at the sensing portion.
Safety belt system with signal sending tension sensor
A multi-point safety belt system is provided with a tension sensor that opens and closes a switch to send a signal indicating the force securing a seat occupant secured by the safety belt system.
Heated seat belt
A vehicle seat belt system is provided. The vehicle seat belt system includes a seat belt comprising a webbing, an electric powered device such as a heater coupled to the webbing, electrical circuitry connected to the heater and extending through a seat belt buckle and connector tongue, and an electric power source for providing electric power to the electric heater via the electrical circuitry. The electrical circuitry supplies power through the connector tongue and seat belt buckle.
HARNESS BAR ASSEMBLY
A vehicle includes a body. A front seat and a rear seat are each supported by the body. A seat belt buckle is supported by the rear seat. A harness bar is supported by the body and disposed between the front seat and the rear seat. A webbing is attached to the harness bar. A tongue is attached to the webbing. The tongue is engageable with the seat belt buckle.
