Bus seat
A bus seat is provided. The bus seat includes a backrest frame having a curve in part and a lumbar support coupled to the backrest frame by the curve. The bus seat also includes a horizontal seat that is pivotable from a seat position, where a seat frame is locked onto a base frame, to a stowed position. The bus seat is provided in a modular configuration to allow multiple backrests to be used for the bus seat. The backrests may include changeable seat belt configurations and child restraint system configurations. The bus seat also includes a seat belt retractor having a vertical configuration and a horizontal configuration for retracting and extending the seat belt.
Buckle assemblies and associated systems and methods for use with child seats and other restraint systems
Buckle assemblies and associated systems and methods for use with child seats and other restraint systems are disclosed herein. In one embodiment, a buckle assembly includes a housing having an opening shaped to receive a first tongue of a first web connector and a second tongue of a second web connector. The buckle assembly also includes a spring having a first ejector arm carrying a first magnet and a second ejector arm carrying a second magnet. A switch assembly is positioned within the housing, and insertion of the tongues into the housing to latch the buckle assembly moves the magnets toward the switch assembly to activate switches in the switch assembly and produce a signal confirming buckle engagement.
Automobile Seat Restraint System and Method
A system and method for securing a child in a typical adult-sized automobile seat are provided. The system includes a plurality of straps, or webbing, removably attached to the typical adult-sized automobile seat, an optional seat pad, two optional shoulder pads, two optional shoulder buckles, a chest buckle, and a hip buckle. The system is configured to safely and conveniently secure the child into the typical adult-sized automobile seat, thereby reducing or eliminating a need for a child-sized automobile seat. During use, the system secures the child into the typical adult-sized automobile seat, thereby preventing or ameliorating injury from an automobile collision.
Motor vehicle comprising improved deflection member of a safety belt device and method
A motor vehicle comprises a three-point safety belt device to a motor vehicle seat, wherein the safety belt device comprises a belt, a belt magazine, a belt buckle for releasably securing the belt and a deflection member. The deflection member is provided for guiding the belt emerging from the belt magazine and for deflecting the belt and forming a belt portion of the belt, wherein the belt portion is guided over a shoulder and a chest of a secured motor vehicle occupant seated on the motor vehicle seat. The deflection member is designed such that in the state of the motor vehicle occupant secured by the belt, when the belt portion is subjected to an increased tensile loading, the belt portion performs a displacement from a comfort position into an emergency position in the direction of the motor vehicle interior.
Thuja Occidentalis Plant Named Triple G Tree
A distinct Thuja occidentalis cultivar having a shorter maximum height at maturity with a less elongate crown, more piriform shape, and overall bright green coloration all year round. The branchiets are slightly curved and ascend in more compacted sprays requiring less trimming to maintain shape.
DEVICE COOPERATING WITH VEHICLE SAFETY BELT
Device cooperating with a vehicle safety belt, designed for passenger transport, especially children consists of a tensioning belt (1) fixed releasably between the shoulder part (2) and the lap part (3) of the fastened safety belt. Tensioning belt is equipped with the length and tension controller (R) and has tunnels (9) on both ends formed by the rolled up and fixed ends of the belt. In the tunnels (9) there are arms of the snap fasteners (4) fixed to the fastened safety belt. Controller (R) includes a staple (7) fixing the length of the tensioning belt (1) and a staple (8) blocking its position, and the tensioning belt (1) is composed of a fragment (1) connected permanently with the fixing staple and a fragment (1) connected slidingly with the fixing staple (7) and the staple (8) blocking the position of the belt (1).
User-defined stimulation patterns for juvenile products
Systems and methods define a stimulation pattern for a juvenile product utilizing a mobile device that executes a mobile application that is linked to the juvenile product. The method comprises the step of recognizing, by the mobile device when executing the mobile app, the user-defined stimulation pattern for the juvenile product. The stimulation pattern can be a vibration pattern or a motion pattern, and can be detected in a number of different ways by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of determining control signals for the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the user-defined stimulation pattern that is recognized by the mobile device. The method further comprises the step of, in response to receiving a command to execute the user-defined stimulation pattern, controlling the actuator(s) of the juvenile product based on the stored control signals for the user-defined stimulation pattern.
Method for Assisted Buckle Release
A method for assisted buckle release employing a generally C-shaped or U-shaped assistive device adapted to depress a buckle's release button, such as a button typical of a child car seat restraint harness, and thereby assist in unlocking the buckle.
LATERAL SHOCK ABSORBER AND CHILD CAR SAFETY SEAT THEREWITH
The present invention discloses a lateral shock absorber disposed on a base of a child car safety seat. The lateral shock absorber includes a protective fender. An end of the protective fender is pivoted to the base, so that the protective fender is pivotally switchable between a folded state and an unfolded state relative to the base. The unfolded protective fender can collide with a car body during a side impact collision for transferring a side impact to the base and away from a child sitting in the child car safety seat. Therefore, it can effectively reduce a risk of injury or death of the child due to the side impact and provide enhanced protection for the child. Furthermore, the lateral shock absorber has advantages of simple structure and easy operation. Besides, the present invention further discloses a child car safety seat with the aforementioned lateral shock absorber.
Child restraint system
A child restraint system for restraining a child in a vehicle in lieu of a child car seat includes a vehicle that has a seat. A child is selectively seated on the seat and the seat has a backrest and a base that is positioned in front of the backrest. A first attachment is coupled to the vehicle and the first attachment is positioned behind the backrest. A second attachment is coupled to the vehicle and the second attachment is positioned between the base and the backrest. A harness unit is removably coupled between the first attachment and the second attachment. Moreover, the harness unit restrains the child in the seat in lieu of a child car seat.
