The seat belt is simultaneously linked to the vehicle floor and able to be linked in a sliding manner to the strap. Thus, the seat belt is suitable for holding the strap in relation to the closing mechanism, and therefore in relation to the vehicle floor. A tool that is able to be attached and removed in relation to the closing mechanism. The tool is also able to be manually manipulated, and to be manually attached and/or manually removed in the attachment and/or removal position thereof from the closing mechanism. The tool is equipped with means for cutting the strap and/or with means for breaking the windows of the vehicle.
Grip Tongue Latch Plate for Seatbelt
A tongue for a motor vehicle seat belt restraint system providing high friction restraining belt webbing transfer through the tongue in an impact condition. The tongue incorporates a deformable element which maintains the webbing away from contact with high friction elements in the normal use of the belt system. In a crash condition in which significant tension loads are applied to the belt webbing, the deformable element yields to provide contact between the belt webbing and a high friction surface which restricts the transfer of the webbing from the shoulder belt portion of the webbing to the let belt portion of the webbing which is normally more highly loaded in an impact condition. Several embodiments of deformable elements are described.
Safety belt device in a motor vehicle
A belt fitting for a safety belt device in a motor vehicle, the fitting having a base portion and an adjoining insertion tongue, in which base portion a belt eye is provided, through which a belt strap is guided and which subdivides the belt strap into a shoulder belt portion and a lap belt portion when the belt is fastened, and additionally having a clamping element that is freely movable between a release position, in which the belt strap is run freely movably through the belt eye, and a clamping position in which the belt strap is clamped tightly with a clamping force between the clamping element and a clamping stop. According to the invention, the clamping element and/or the clamping stop has a clamping contour, with which the belt strap can be clamped tightly in the clamping position over a belt strap width in a non-linear and/or uneven clamping force distribution.
Tongue and seat belt device using same
To enable a tongue to be more compact in size even when a seat-belt locking member is disposed and to achieve satisfactory mountability. A tongue (7) includes a resin mold portion (12) having seat belt lock guide holes (21) and (22). The resin mold portion (12) is provided with a seat belt lock (13) such that it is movable between an unlocking position where it does not lock a seat belt (4) and a locking position where it locks the seat belt (4) while being guided by the seat belt lock guide holes (21) and (22), and the seat belt lock (13) is set in the unlocking position under normal conditions and is set in the locking position in emergency. The seat belt lock (13) is continuously urged toward the unlocking position by a torsion spring (14). In emergency, the seat belt lock (13) is set in the locking position by a pressing force from the seat belt (4) against the urging force of the torsion spring (14).
LATCH PLATE AND METHOD FOR PRODUCING A LATCH PLATE
In a locking tongue (10) for a seat belt comprising an inserting portion (12) adapted to be inserted into a best buckle and a deflecting portion (14) for webbing (16), wherein the deflecting portion (14) includes a webbing passage (20) and a clamping element (22) for the webbing (16) and wherein the clamping element (22) is displaceable between a home position in which the webbing (16) is freely movable and a blocking position in which the clamping element (22) is displaced against a wall (36) of the webbing passage (20) so that the webbing (16) is clamped between the clamping element (22) and the wall (36) of the webbing passage (20), the clamping element (22) including a clamping surface (24) which in the blocking position clamps the webbing (16) against the wall (36) of the webbing passage (20), it is provided that the clamping element (22) is guided along a curved guide path (40) extending in the area of the blocking position substantially perpendicularly to the wall (36) so that in the blocking position the clamping element (22) is moved against the wall (36) substantially perpendicularly with the clamping surface (24). In accordance with the invention, furthermore a method of manufacturing said locking tongue (10) is provided comprising the following features of: providing a deflecting portion (14), positioning the clamping element (22) on the deflecting portion (4), and partly surrounding the deflecting portion (14) and the clamping element (22) by injection-molding, wherein the clamping element (22) is fixed to the deflecting portion (14).
ROTATABLE SEATBELT BUCKLE
A vehicle includes a vehicle seat and a plate fixed relative to the vehicle seat. A seatbelt buckle is rotatably supported by the vehicle seat. The seatbelt buckle is rotatable relative to the plate from a first position to a second position. A slot is in one of the plate and the seatbelt buckle and a pin is supported by the other of the plate and the seatbelt buckle. The pin is moveable relative to the other of the plate and the seatbelt buckle from a retracted position to an extended position. The pin is spaced from the slot and in the retracted position when the seatbelt buckle is in the first position. The pin is in the extended position and extends into the slot when the seatbelt buckle is in the second position. A pyrotechnic device is operatively coupled to the seatbelt buckle to rotate the seatbelt buckle.
Seat Belt Locking Buckle
A seat belt locking buckle may include a fastener which is bent to form a first connecting end, and a round first connecting hole penetrating through the first connecting end is connected to a shoulder safety belt. An anti-scratch washer is coupled and connected with the inner periphery of the first connecting hole. The anti-scratch washer is outwardly folded at top and bottom ends to form an upper periphery and a lower periphery, and the anti-scratch washer is secured in the first connecting hole through the upper periphery and the lower periphery, and two round inner fillets are respectively formed at the junctions between the upper periphery and the inner periphery of the anti-scratch washer and between the lower periphery and the inner periphery of the anti-scratch washer.
Belt fitting for a safety belt device
A belt fitting for a safety belt device, having a base section and a latch plate projecting from same. The base section has a belt eyelet with a belt strap running surface, which is in sliding contact with a belt strap guided through the belt eyelet when the safety belt is being worn, wherein, in the transverse direction of the belt strap, the belt strap running surface transitions on both sides at lateral corner regions into a belt eyelet edge opposite the belt strap running surface. The belt strap running surface has a surface contour which provides stable transverse guidance of the belt strap in the belt eyelet under loading conditions, which counteracts a transverse load component acting on the belt strap. A displacement body is formed on the belt eyelet edge-opposite the belt strap running surface, which reduces a gap width of the belt eyelet.
Seat belt device
A seatbelt device comprises a webbing, a bag body and an anchor member. The webbing is applied to the body of a vehicle occupant sitting on a seat. The bag body is provided along a length direction of the webbing, and the bag body is disposed at one side of the webbing and can be inflated by pressure of a fluid supplied from a length direction one side of the bag body. A deployment portion through which the fluid can pass is provided in the bag body, being disposed at width direction outer sides and a thickness direction another side of the webbing. An insertion hole is formed in the anchor member, through which the webbing and the bag body are inserted. The webbing is folded at the thickness direction one side when applied to the body of the sitting vehicle occupant, and the deployment portion of the bag body is disposed in the insertion hole.
