Vehicle Anti-theft Method and Vehicle Anti-theft System
An vehicle anti-theft method and a vehicle anti-theft system is disclosed. The vehicle anti-theft method is implemented by at least a vehicle electronic anti-theft system, a chassis electronic control unit and an electronic parking brake. The method includes (i) generating, by the chassis electronic control unit, a random number, and sending the random number to the vehicle electronic anti-theft system, (ii) between the chassis electronic control unit and the vehicle electronic anti-theft system, based on the random number and PIN and secret key parameters initially configured in the chassis electronic control unit and the vehicle electronic anti-theft system, performing an anti-theft authentication, and obtaining an anti-theft authentication result, and (iii) based on the anti-theft authentication result, controlling, by the electronic parking brake, whether to unlock wheel calipers.
AUGMENTED VEHICLE BLIND SPOT DETECTION WITH TRANSPARENT TRAILER
A system of object detection for a trailer. In one example, the system includes a camera configured to capture images of the trailer, where the images include an object other than the trailer. The system also includes a sensor configured to capture sensor data, a display configured to display images from the perspective of the camera, and a controller on the vehicle. The controller includes an electronic processor configured to receive the image data from the camera, receive the sensor data from the sensor, determine a blind spot, analyze the sensor data for radar data associated with the object, calculate the position of the object relative to the blind spot and the trailer, determine that the object is within the blind spot using an object detection algorithm, and in response to the determining that the object is within the blind spot, generate an augmented image.
Automatic vehicle braking in response to operator egress
A vehicle includes a cabin, a brake, a vehicle subsystem, and a processing circuit. The processing circuit is configured to receive an indication that an operator is attempting to exit the cabin and automatically engage the brake in response to the indication to prevent movement of the vehicle. The vehicle subsystem remains operational while the brake is engaged.

SAFE DRIVING METHOD, DEVICE AND SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE
The present disclosure provides a safe driving method, a safe driving device and a safe driving system, for a vehicle. The safe driving device includes an information processor, and a brake controller connected to the information processor. The information processor is configured to acquire vehicle information and information about a driving license of a driver, and determine, in accordance with the vehicle information and the information about the driving license of the driver, whether or not the driver meets a requirement for driving the vehicle. The information processor is further configured to, in the case that the driver does not meet the requirement for driving the vehicle, control the brake controller to brake the vehicle.

Configurable electronic brake shift interlock override
Method and apparatus for an electronic override of the brake shift interlock in a motor vehicle can provide for the vehicle to be manually pushed while it is parked without keys. A timed window is initiated upon detection of a parked state of the vehicle with its transmission in a park position and ignition key removable or removed. Selection of an out-of-park position is inhibited. The invention monitors activation of the brake pedal during the timed window. Override of the brake shift interlock is enabled while the brake pedal is activated during the timed window, thereby allowing selection of an out-of-park shifter position. The timed window ends after a predetermined time or event (e.g., after the driver's door is opened) to inhibit any further shifter movement from the park position until the next ignition key-cycle.
