METHOD FOR STOPPING A VEHICLE
There is provided a method to stop or slow down a vehicle in an emergency, the method involving a vehicle comprising an emergency stop system which is able to cause the vehicle to stop or slow down, said emergency stop system comprising at least one microphone for detecting sounds in the vicinity of the vehicle, and a sound analysis unit for analysing sound, the method involving the steps: a) the microphone of the emergency stop system receiving a sound and sending a signal representing the sound to the sound analysis unit, b) the sound analysis unit of the emergency stop system determining that the received sound is a predetermined sound or a predetermined sound pattern, and c) the emergency stop system causing the vehicle to stop or slow down.
Control system for matching measured pressure and/or humidity values
The invention relates to a control system for measuring pressure and/or humidity, comprising at least one apparatus for measuring pressure and/or humidity, comprising at least one sensor for measuring pressure and/or humidity, wherein the sensor comprises at least one capacitor comprising at least two electrodes that are arranged, in particular, in a horizontal direction along and on an, in particular, flexible support material relative to one another. At least one dielectric layer is arranged between the electrodes, wherein at least one at least partially liquid-permeable and/or liquid-adsorbing moisture layer is arranged at least in some places on a side, facing away from the support material, of at least one electrode and/or of the dielectric layer. The at least one electrode and/or the dielectric layer are thus then arranged between the support material and the moisture layer in a transverse direction, such that a capacitance is at least partially changed by the liquid at least partially hitting the dielectric layer, wherein a processing unit is designed and provided to measure and/or store measurement values of the sensor. This creates a capacitive moisture sensor. The invention is characterized in that the data measured by the sensor is transmitted by the processing unit to a central CPU, wherein this data is processed by the processing unit.
System and method for vehicle theft prevention
A controller is integrated into a vehicle with the controller coupled to a fob detector and also coupled to a vehicle disabler. Examples of vehicle disablers include a brake transmission shift interlock (BTSI), a transmission shift interlock (TSI) and an air brake or electric parking brake of the vehicle. The fob detector can be provided along with the controller and separate from a mechanical key ignition of the vehicle, or can be a fob detector associated with a keyless ignition of the vehicle. A mobile fob is used as part of the system, carried on the person of an authorized driver of the vehicle. This fob can be provided separately from the vehicle, along with the controller, or can be a fob associated with a keyless entry of the vehicle. The controller causes the vehicle disabler to not be disengaged unless presence of the fob is detected by the fob detector.
Vehicular Pursuit Intervention Systems and Methods
Vehicular pursuit intervention systems and methods are provided herein. An example method includes determining unauthorized use of an emergency vehicle, causing the emergency vehicle to perform a controlled stop, locking access points of the emergency vehicle, closing windows of the emergency vehicle, and locking a weapon within the emergency vehicle.

Response vehicle systems and methods
A response vehicle includes a transmission, a braking subsystem, and a vehicle management system coupled to at least one of the transmission and the braking subsystem. The vehicle management system includes an interlock module configured to provide a signal to switch the at least one of the transmission and the braking subsystem from a locked condition to an operational condition only in response to an authenticated user request thereby preventing undesired operation of the response vehicle.

Brake disk lock
The invention relates to a brake disk lock comprising a brake disk detection device, a sensor for detecting a positional change of the lock, an alarm module that is configured to output an alarm when the sensor detects a relevant positional change of the lock, an unlocking motor for unlocking the lock, an authentication module for a wireless authentication of a user of the lock, and an actuation element that can be actuated by the user and by means of which the authentication module can be activated. A further subject is a locking system comprising such a lock and a mobile end device by means of which a user of the brake disk lock can authenticate himself thereat. The invention further relates to a method of unlocking a brake disk lock.
