SECURITY FOR AN ELECTRICALLY MOTORIZED VEHICLE
Methods of protecting an electrically motorized human-powered vehicle are disclosed. A method may include transmitting, from a remote server, a security input relating to a user of the vehicle; receiving, at the electrically motorized human-powered vehicle the security input relating to the user; validating the security input; and enabling one of a first or second set of features based on the security input, wherein the second set of features is different from the first set of features and wherein one of set of features includes a service mode that enables maintenance access to the vehicle.
Verification of installation of vehicle starter disable and enable circuit
A verification procedure is performed when a tracking device is newly installed in a vehicle. The procedure involves transmitting a command to the tracking device to either disable or enable the vehicle starter. The installer is then prompted to engage the starter to start the vehicle. The tracking device then monitors the voltages on the vehicle's ignition wire and starter disable and starter enable wires going to a starter relay. The tracking device also monitors the state of a starter relay control wire. Measurement of the proper voltages on these wires provides verification that the tracking device has been connected properly. Continuing to monitor these voltages after installation provides an indication when a driver engages the starter in an attempt to start the vehicle.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR SECURELY ACCESSING AN AUTOMOBILE IGNITION KEY
A method, apparatus and a computer-readable medium for securing an automobile ignition key, including scanning an authorized user's fingerprint, as well as inputting a security code chosen by the authorized user. Verifying users whether they are authorized to access the automobile ignition key, allowing a user when verified, and denying access when the verification steps fails.
Systems and methods for utilizing geographic positioning data for operation of an electrically motorized vehicle
A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. One system includes a server in communication with the device of each of a plurality of electrically motorized wheels, the server operable to track a position of each of the electrically motorized wheels and communicate the position thereof to a transportation network.
Gateway-based anti-theft security system and method
Improved systems and techniques are disclosed for controlling the security states of anti-theft security systems such as product display assemblies using security fobs. The tasks relating to fob authentication are offloaded to a computer system, and these authentications can be based on identifiers for the different security fobs. The computer system can maintain a list of identifiers for authorized security fobs that is easily updated when new security fobs are added to or existing security fobs are de-authorized from the system.
VEHICLE, INFORMATION PROCESSING DEVICE, INFORMATION PROCESSING METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM STORING PROGRAM
A vehicle includes a confirmation section that confirms, at a time of vehicle door locking, whether or not an information processing device configured to be used to perform the vehicle door locking, is inside the vehicle; a determination section that, in a case in which it has not been confirmed by the confirmation section that the information processing device is inside the vehicle, determines whether or not vibration or movement of the information processing device has been detected within a predetermined period of time from the door locking; and an actuation section that, in a case in which vibration or movement of the information processing device has not been detected by the determination section, actuates an alarm.
VEHICLE ENGINE OPERATION
Disclosed is a system for detecting an operating state of a vehicle engine. The system comprises: an input coupled to a power line of a vehicle; means to filter out relatively high frequency transient noise components of a signal received from the power line; a first detector for receiving the filtered signal and detecting when transient noise associated with the power line rises above a first threshold and generating a first detection signal in response thereto; a second detector for receiving the filtered signal and detecting when the transient noise falls below a second threshold, which is lower than the first threshold, and generating a second detection signal in response thereto; and means for generating a first output signal in response to the first detection signal and a second output signal in response to the second detection signal.
Vehicle control system and mobile device used as vehicle key fob
An apparatus includes a vehicle control system (VCS) coupled to a computer of a vehicle via a CAN bus and configured to present selectively appearance of a presence in the vehicle of a smartkey, e.g., by energizing and de-energizing an actual smartkey of the vehicle. The VCS includes a VCS and a Bluetooth VCS transceiver. The VCS stores VCS software. The apparatus also includes a smartphone with a Bluetooth transceiver, and storing an app. The mobile device is paired with the VCS to communicate with the VCS via a Bluetooth link. The app configures the smartphone to receive menu selections from a user, to generate communications that identify smartkey-enabled features of the VCS that correspond to the selections, and to send to the VCS the communications through the link. The VCS software configures the VCS to receive the communications and cause the vehicle to perform actions corresponding to the communications.
Cloud Based Cognitive Radio Frequency Intrusion Detection Audit and Reporting
An approach is provided that logs radio frequency (RF) activity detected by a vehicle-based intrusion detection system. The logged activity is ingested at a machine learning system. The approach receives, by a conversational agent with access to the machine learning system, natural language (NL) user queries pertaining to the detected RF activity and presents, by the conversational agent, natural language system responses answering the NL user queries.
Alarming and unlocking device
Disclosed is an alarming and unlocking device. The alarming and unlocking device is installed in a passenger carriage and includes a control switch (10), a communication device, and a locking device, wherein the control switch (10) is provided with an alarming position (11) and an unlocking position (12); the control switch (10) is in signal connection with the communication device; when the control switch (10) is located at the alarming position (11), the communication device is started to receive and send a voice signal; the locking device is installed on a door so as to control the door to lock or unlock; the control switch (10) is in signal connection with the locking device; and when the control switch (10) is located at the unlocking position (12), the locking device performs an unlocking operation. According to the alarming and unlocking device, the problem that a structure for an alarming and unlocking device on a vehicle is relatively complex in the conventional art is solved.
