Systems and methods for diagnostics and response of an electrically motorized vehicle
A system, method and device for the operation of electrically motorized vehicles that can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. The electrically motorized wheel can include a modular systems package with a motor, power supply, sensor system and control system that is operable to communicate locally and globally via various mobile devices. The control system for a device of an electrically motorized wheel includes an application module operable to execute a control algorithm that manages operation of the device.
Vehicle security system using sensor data
A method and system for monitoring a vehicle for security. The method includes determining when a trigger event occurs to the vehicle based on a first input from a first sensor and activating a second sensor of the vehicle in response to the trigger event. An electronic processor then determines whether a person is local to the vehicle based on the second sensor, and generates a record of activity of the person based on the second sensor when the person is local to the vehicle.
Remote vehicle system configuration, control, and telematics
A vehicle control system (VCS) includes external communication interfaces, such as a Bluetooth interface, for communicating with a user communication and control device, such as a smart phone or a tablet. The user is enabled to operate certain features of the vehicle, such as the remote start, power locks/trunk, climate control, and security features, through the smart phone. The VCS may also communicate with a remote server via the user's smartphone, for example, providing telematics data and receiving service reminders for display to the user on the smartphone, the VCS, or a display built into the vehicle. The VCS may be custom installed in the vehicle using the user's or the installer's smartphone, without a physical connection from the VCS to the smartphone.
Monitoring and alerting vehicle occupants for ignition systems
Method and apparatus are disclosed for monitoring and alerting vehicle occupants for ignition systems. An example vehicle includes a cabin, a touchscreen within the cabin, an engine to activate responsive to the touchscreen receiving a passcode, seats within the cabin, occupancy sensor modules to detect occupancy of the seats, and a warning controller. The warning controller is to initiate a timer upon detecting, via the occupancy sensor modules, that an occupant has exited the cabin and emit an alert responsive to the timer reaching a predetermined threshold.
METHOD FOR ACTIVATING AT LEAST ONE SAFETY FUNCTION OF A VEHICLE SAFETY SYSTEM
The invention relates to a method (100) for a security system (200) of a vehicle (1), in particular for a keyless activation of at least one security function of the vehicle (1).
USB car charger with integrated vehicle alarm
A USB charger includes a connector for plugging into a cigarette lighter socket of a motor vehicle. The USB charged provides one or more USB sockets and includes an integrated alarm unit for protection against intruders in the motor vehicle. The alarm unit includes a motion sensor and an acoustic alarm signal generator.
VEHICLE LOCKING AND UNLOCKING CONTROL SYSTEM
A vehicle locking and unlocking control system, comprising: a lock trigger that is provided outside a vehicle and outputs an output signal when operated by a person; a vehicle side transmitter is configured to transmit a transmission request signal according to reception of the output signal output by the lock trigger; a mobile wireless terminal is configured to transmit a response signal according to reception of the transmission request signal transmitted by the vehicle side transmitter; a vehicle side receiver configured to receive the response signal transmitted by the mobile wireless terminal; a locking controller configured to determine whether or not the response signal received by the vehicle side receiver is suitable for a unique identification signal of the vehicle and output a lock signal on the basis of a result of the determination and the reception of the output signal output from the lock trigger; a door lock mechanism configured to lock a door according to the lock signal output by the locking controller; a first determiner configured to determine whether a driving source for driving the vehicle is in an on state or a power supply of the vehicle is in an on state; a second determiner configured to determine whether or not the mobile wireless terminal is outside the vehicle; a door state detector configured to detect an open state of the door; an alarm output unit configured to output an alarm; and an alarm controller configured to cause the alarm output unit to output an alarm after it is determined by the first determiner that the driving source of the vehicle is in an on state or the power supply of the vehicle is in an on state, the output signal output from the lock trigger has been received, and a predetermined period of time has elapsed from a time when it is determined by the second determiner that the mobile wireless terminal is outside the vehicle, and cause the alarm output unit not to output the alarm when it is detected by the door state detector that the door is in the open state before the predetermined period of time elapses.
ALARMING AND UNLOCKING DEVICE
Disclosed is an alarming and unlocking device. The alarming and unlocking device is installed in a passenger carriage and includes a control switch (10), a communication device, and a locking device, wherein the control switch (10) is provided with an alarming position (11) and an unlocking position (12); the control switch (10) is in signal connection with the communication device; when the control switch (10) is located at the alarming position (11), the communication device is started to receive and send a voice signal; the locking device is installed on a door so as to control the door to lock or unlock; the control switch (10) is in signal connection with the locking device; and when the control switch (10) is located at the unlocking position (12), the locking device performs an unlocking operation. According to the alarming and unlocking device, the problem that a structure for an alarming and unlocking device on a vehicle is relatively complex in the conventional art is solved.
Systems, methods, and devices for assessment of an operator of an electrically motorized vehicle
A system, method, and device for operations of an electrically motorized vehicle. The electrically motorized vehicle can utilize an electrically motorized wheel to convert a non-motorized wheeled vehicle to an electrically motorized wheeled vehicle. A user of the device for the electrically motorized wheel can be profiled by receiving data from a sensor system of the device and creating a profile of the user operating the vehicle from the data.
