Method and system for vandalism and/or loitering detection using video
This disclosure provides a method and system to detect a predefined activity, e.g., vandalism, loitering, trespass, etc., associated with a parked vehicle. According to an exemplary embodiment, a method includes capturing video of a parking area and processing the video to detect vandalism and/or loitering with respect to a region of interest associated with the parked vehicle.
SPINDLE AND SUSPENSION SYSTEM FOR RECREATIONAL VEHICLES
Embodiments of the present invention describe a recreational vehicle spindle, including a spindle body having one or more sockets in the spindle body, and an upper attachment mechanism in contact with the spindle body and adapted to attach to a steering component. The spindle also includes a lower attachment mechanism in contact with the spindle body and adapted to attach to a ski or wheel. The one or more sockets are adapted to each receive a ball and stud forming one or more ball joints.
Methods of pre-generating insurance claims
In system and methods for pre-generating insurance claims, accident data associated with a vehicle accident involving a driver may be collected. The accident data may be analyzed, and a likely severity of the vehicle accident may be determined based upon the analysis of the accident data. An estimated insurance claim may be generated based upon the determined likely severity of the vehicle accident, and transmitted, via wireless communication, from one or more remote servers to a mobile device associated with the driver to facilitate presenting all, or a portion of, the estimated insurance claim to the driver or the insured. A wireless communication from the driver or insured indicating approval, rejection or modification of the estimated insurance claim may be received. The estimated insurance claim may be handled in accordance with the approval, rejection or modification.
Vehicle remote control system
A vehicle-mounted device includes vehicle information detecting unit for detecting an on/off state of vehicle power, relay input/output unit for controlling an external relay configured to make a switch between a starting-disabled state and a starting-enabled state of a vehicle, and vehicle information-associated control unit for controlling the external relay based on a relay control command. The vehicle information-associated control unit controls the external relay based on an elapsed time since a change in the on/off state of vehicle power detected by the vehicle information detecting unit.
Security system
A computing device may communicate with a mobile node via a wireless link, and may determine if the mobile node is within range or out of range. In response to that determination, the computing device may cause various actions to occur, such as opening a door, unlocking a door, arming/disarming a monitoring system, activating a light, or other actions.

Methods of facilitating emergency assistance
In system and methods for loss mitigation, accident data associated with a vehicle accident involving a driver may be collected. The accident data may be analyzed, and a likely severity of the vehicle accident may be determined based upon the analysis of the accident data. A communication related to emergency assistance or an emergency assistance recommendation may be generated based upon the determined likely severity of the vehicle accident, and transmitted, via wireless communication, from one or more remote servers to a mobile device associated with the driver. A wireless communication from the driver indicating approval or modification of the emergency assistance or emergency assistance recommendation may be received. A third party may be notified, via a communication sent from the remote server(s), of requested emergency assistance as approved or modified by the driver. An estimated insurance claim may also be generated based upon vehicle accident likely severity.
WIRELESS VEHICLE SECURITY MOTION SENSOR WITH THREADED MOUNTING SURFACE AND RELATED METHODS
A vehicle security system may include a vehicle controller and a first wireless communications device coupled thereto, and at least one wireless sensor. The wireless sensor may include a housing having a threaded mounting surface, a motion sensor carried by the housing, a second wireless communications device carried by the housing, and a sensor controller carried by the housing. The sensor controller is configured to determine when motion of the housing exceeds a first threshold, and send a first security alert message to the vehicle controller based thereon via the second and first wireless communications devices, and determine when the first threshold is exceeded for a predetermined time and enter a power saving mode based thereon. The at least one sensor may also include a power source carried by the housing to power the motion sensor, second wireless communications device, and sensor controller.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR VEHICLE INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Implementations described and claimed provide systems and methods for vehicle inventory management. In one implementation, a security triggering event corresponding to a security of a vehicle inventory fleet is identified. The vehicle inventory fleet includes a plurality of vehicles. A security command is sent to all of the plurality of vehicles over a network in response to the security triggering event. The security command causes all of the plurality of vehicles to lock. A confirmation that the vehicle inventory fleet is secure is received after all of the plurality of vehicles are locked.
