According to one embodiment, provisioning an amount of power for one or more vehicles can comprise receiving a request indicating a requirement for an amount of power for the one or more vehicles. The request can indicate the requirement for the amount of power for the one or more vehicles individually or in total. A set of management rules can be read from one or more databases. A set of service configuration information and a set of vehicle specific information for the one or more vehicles can also be read from one or more databases. One or more power sources to meet the requirement for the amount of power for the one or more vehicles can be determined based on applying the management rules and using the set of service configuration information and the set of vehicle information and an indication of the determined power sources can be provided.

Secure communications with sensitive user information through a vehicle

Systems of a vehicle and the operations thereof are provided. The vehicle can associate sensitive information for a user of the vehicle. Then, the vehicle can automatically provide the sensitive information for either the driver and/or passenger to a third party in an interaction with the third party. As such, user employ the automated systems of the vehicle for interactions with third parties.

LUMINOUS DEVICE FOR TURNING ON A ROAD VEHICLE AND RELATIVE ROAD VEHICLE

Road vehicle comprising an ignition system for the powertrain system comprising in turn a luminous device integral with the passenger compartment of the road vehicle and comprising a movable part configured to move between an off configuration and an on configuration; the luminous device comprising a display device configured to at least partially assume a first colour and a second colour; wherein the display device is configured to switch from the first colour to the second colour when the movable part switches from the off configuration to the on configuration and vice versa when the movable part switches from the on configuration to the off configuration.

Methods and systems for associating sensitive information of a passenger with a vehicle

A method and system are provided for detecting a driver and passenger in a vehicle. The vehicle processor stores first and second sensitive information for the driver and passenger, respectively. In response to detecting the second presence of the passenger, provides a user interface for the passenger to enter the second sensitive information, receives and associates the second sensitive information with the vehicle and, while the vehicle is in motion, communicates with an external third party positioned along a selected route of the vehicle to perform a transaction on behalf of the passenger using the second sensitive information.

PLATFORM FOR AUTOMOTIVE PERSONALIZATION

Embodiments of a system include a cloud computing center with one or more servers, storage coupled to the one or more servers, and a communication interface coupled to the one or more servers. A plurality of devices are communicatively coupled to the communication interface of the cloud computing center, so that the plurality of devices can communicate with the cloud computing center and with each other via the cloud computing center. At least one of the plurality of devices is a vehicle. A plurality of functional modules include instructions that, when executed by the cloud computing center, by at least one the plurality of devices, or by both the cloud computing center and at least one of the plurality of devices, enable functions including remote or direct interaction with the vehicle and, when there is direct interaction, personalization of the vehicle.

User identification system and vehicular portable device

A user identification system is provided, which includes an in-vehicle apparatus used by multiple users and a vehicular portable device carried by a user acting as a driver and associated with the in-vehicle apparatus. The vehicular portable device detects received signal strength of signals received from the portable terminals at multiple time points, and based on the received signal strength detected by the received signal strength detector, determines a driver terminal which is the portable terminal carried by the user acting as the driver. The vehicular portable device determines as the driver terminal the portable terminal that provides a smallest degree of change of the received signal strength detected multiple times.

Identification of vehicle occupants in a vehicle

A method for managing vehicle occupant profiles includes detecting an unidentified radio device associated with a vehicle occupant, and localizing the radio device to a seat position. The method further includes updating an available vehicle occupant profile of the vehicle occupant with the detected and localized at least one unidentified radio device when other identified radio devices associated to the vehicle occupant are detected and localized to the seat position occupied by the vehicle occupant, establishing a new vehicle occupant profile of the vehicle occupant with the detected and localized at least one unidentified radio device when no other identified radio devices associated to the vehicle occupant are detected and localized to the seat position occupied by the vehicle occupant, and assigning a probability value to the updated or established vehicle occupant profile.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADJUSTING VEHICLE SETTINGS BASED ON HEIGHT OF PORTABLE WIRELESS DEVICE

A system for adjusting vehicle driver settings includes vehicle nodes configured to receive signals from a key fob or other portable wireless device, and a processing system for evaluating height information of the keyfob or other device. The processing system is configured to receive the height information and evaluate whether the wireless device is likely being carried within an article of clothing of the driver. A vehicle settings controller system accesses a settings database to obtain vehicle settings related to a particular wireless device height and implements initial vehicle settings upon a driver approaching the vehicle.

Duplicated wireless transceivers associated with a vehicle to receive and send sensitive information
10304261 · 2019-05-28 · ·

A vehicle is provided that comprises two or more radio frequency (RF) antennas and two or more RF transceivers to communicate wirelessly sensitive information associated with a user of the vehicle (the two or more RF antennas being at different physical locations on an exterior of the vehicle). The vehicle determines which one of the two or more RF antennas is receiving a strongest signal from a common signal source, selects a first RF transceiver associated with the RF antenna with the strongest signal to send the sensitive information associated with the user to the common signal source, and sends the sensitive information associated with the user to the first RF transceiver for transmission to the common signal source.

KEY INFORMATION SHARING SYSTEM, DELIVERY DEVICE AND USER TERMINAL

A key information sharing system includes a delivery device that delivers key information as first information for a control device equipped in an object and a user terminal that receives the first information delivered from the delivery device. The delivery device adds second information that allows the first information to be transferred between the user terminal and a third-party terminal without the delivery device, to the first information to be delivered to the user terminal. The user terminal transmits the first information to the third-party terminal in response to an input operation by a user, when the user terminal receives the first information to which the second information has been added.
