Recording control device, recording control system, recording control method, and computer program
A recording control device includes: a photographic data acquisition unit that acquires photographic data from a camera that photographs a periphery of a vehicle; a moving object detection unit that detects a moving object from the photographic data acquired by the photographic data acquisition unit while the vehicle is parked; and a recording control unit that correlates detection information of the moving object with the photographic data, records the correlated information in a recording unit as a data file that is capable of being overwritten, and when overwriting of the data file in the recording unit becomes necessary, performs the overwriting by reducing the priority of overwriting on the data file in which the moving object is detected.
Systems and methods for reducing latency in vehicle access requests
Systems and methods for reducing latency in vehicle access requests are provided herein. An example method includes receiving a first vehicle access request from a user, determining a pre-authenticated status for the user based on authenticating the user in response to the first vehicle access request, determining a pre-authorized status for the user based on the determination of the pre-authenticated status, receiving a second first vehicle access request from the user, and granting access to the vehicle when the user has the pre-authenticated status. Access to the vehicle can be conditioned upon the pre-authorized status of the user.

ALERT SYSTEM FOR VEHICLE TO OUTPUT ALERT ABOUT OCCUPANT BEING LEFT IN VEHICLE
An alert system outputs one or more alerts about an occupant being left in a vehicle. The alert system includes an in-vehicle object detector and an alert controller. The in-vehicle object detector detects objects in a vehicle compartment, including the occupant. If the occupant is left in the compartment after a driver has left the vehicle, the alert controller controls outputting of the one or more alerts to mobile terminals of persons including the driver. If the driver has left the vehicle, the alert controller causes the in-vehicle object detector to begin a detection processing for detecting the occupant being left in the compartment. If the occupant is left in the compartment, the alert controller determines whether the mobile terminal of the driver is left in the compartment. The alert controller switches outputting of the one or more alerts to among the mobile terminals of the persons in accordance with whether the mobile terminal of the driver is left in the compartment.

COUNTERFEIT IMAGE DETECTION
A computer, including a processor and a memory, the memory including instructions to be executed by the processor to acquire a first image with a visible and NIR light camera and acquire a second image with an infrared camera. The instructions can include further instructions to determine whether the second image includes a live human face by comparing a first infrared profile included in the second image with second infrared profile included in a previously acquired third image acquired with a the infrared camera; and when the second image includes the live human face, output the first image.
