VEHICLE REMOTE CONTROL SYSTEM
20230030023 · 2023-02-02 ·

A vehicle-mounted device includes vehicle information detecting unit for detecting an on/off state of vehicle power, relay input/output unit for controlling an external relay configured to make a switch between a starting-disabled state and a starting-enabled state of a vehicle, and vehicle information-associated control unit for controlling the external relay based on a relay control command. The vehicle information-associated control unit controls the external relay based on an elapsed time since a change in the on/off state of vehicle power detected by the vehicle information detecting unit.

VEHICLE, NOTIFICATION SYSTEM, NOTIFICATION METHOD, AND NON-TRANSITORY COMPUTER-READABLE STORAGE MEDIUM STORED WITH A NOTIFICATION PROGRAM

A vehicle that is configured to: acquire information relating to a remaining charge of a battery of a terminal configured to act as a digital key employed in control of a vehicle; and perform a predetermined notification in response to both of a determination being made that the remaining charge of the battery of the terminal is a predetermined threshold or lower based on the acquired information, and the vehicle being in a preset vehicle state.

ECO-FRIENDLY VEHICLE AND POWER MANAGEMENT METHOD THEREFOR

Disclosed is an eco-friendly vehicle capable of conveniently canceling a protection mode when the protection mode is entered due to a voltage drop of a low-voltage battery, and a power management method therefor. A power management method for an electrified vehicle may comprise controlling, by a power management controller, an out-vehicle switch from a first mode for changing a locked state to a second mode for battery reset when there is a request for entry into a protection mode for a low-voltage battery from a BMS, and entering the protection mode when the out-vehicle switch is changed to the second mode.

Vehicle security system

A security system is provided for a vehicle having an on-board diagnostic (“OBD”) data link cable and an OBD port. The system includes, a glass break sensor, and an input connector having a power input configured to be coupled to a vehicle battery voltage input of the OBD data link cable and to provide power to the glass break sensor. The glass break sensor is configured to detect a vibration, air pressure, or audio frequency disturbance and to generate an alarm signal when a disturbance is detected. The microprocessor is configured: to use OBD data to monitor whether the vehicle engine is running; to automatically arm the glass break sensor device when the vehicle engine is turned off; to automatically disarm the glass break sensor device when the vehicle engine is on; and to activate an alarm or a camera when in response to the alarm signal.

METHOD AND DEVICE FOR THE EXTERNAL ELECTRICAL POWER SUPPLY OF UNLOCKING-RELATED DEVICES OF A VEHICLE
20220332287 · 2022-10-20 ·

Keyless authentication of an authorized user of a vehicle in the event of an error function of an internal electrical power supply of unlocking-related devices of the vehicle is provided so that only one portion of the control units of the vehicle, in particular only unlocking-related devices of the vehicle, are supplied with electrical power via an external electrical power source, in order to carry out keyless authentication of the authorized user.

METHOD FOR OPERATING A MOTOR VEHICLE LOCKING SYSTEM

A method of operating a motor vehicle locking system including an electric drive for providing a locking function, a central battery of the motor vehicle supplies electrical energy to the electric drive during normal operation, an auxiliary energy supply supplies electrical energy to the central battery and is arranged in a closure arrangement of the motor vehicle, the closure element is configured to assume an open and a closed position. Access to the auxiliary energy supply is blocked by the closure element in the closed position and cleared in the open position. The central battery is monitored by a control unit to check whether an emergency operation criterion is satisfied. The closure element is locked in the closed position by means of a lock unit, and when the emergency operation criterion is satisfied, the lock unit is actuated by the control unit to unlock the closure element.

SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR EFFICIENT MANAGEMENT OF VEHICLE POWER MODES

Systems and methods are provided for controlling power modes of a vehicle and for providing passive entry to the vehicle. A sleep command can be sent from a central controller to multiple domain controllers to enter a sleep state. When the sleep command is received by a first domain controller, a sleep state is entered. When the sleep command is received by a second domain controller, a stealth state is entered. While in the stealth state, the second domain controller periodically wakes up from a sleep state to monitor a condition. In response to detecting a first condition, the second domain controller returns to the sleep state. In response to detecting a second condition, the second domain controller sends a notification of the second condition to the central controller.

Sensing and controlling states of locking mechanisms

An affixable device can include a locking mechanism, a force-limiting mechanism, and a sensing mechanism. The locking mechanism can include an engagement component configured to disable the locking mechanism. The force-limiting mechanism can be configured to limit a locking force of the locking mechanism. The sensing mechanism can be coupled to the engagement component, and can be configured to determine that the force-limiting mechanism has limited the locking force of the locking mechanism. In response to determining the force-limiting mechanism limiting the locking force, the sensing mechanism can cause the engagement component to disable the locking mechanism.

Vehicle Security Assembly

A vehicle security assembly includes a vehicle and a plurality of camera units. Each of the camera units is coupled to the vehicle to record video footage of the immediate environment of the vehicle. The plurality of camera unit is positioned at strategic locations on the vehicle. A recording unit is positioned within the vehicle and the recording unit is in electrical communication with each of the camera units to record video footage captured by the camera units. A personal electronic device is positioned within the vehicle. A data sensor is provided which is placed in electrical communication with an engine computer module of the vehicle thereby facilitating the data sensor to receive diagnostic data from the engine computer module. Moreover, the data sensor is in communication with the personal electronic device to facilitate a driver of the vehicle to view the diagnostic data.
