APPARATUS FOR PROVIDING AROUND VIEW
An apparatus for providing an around view comprises: first and second cameras for acquiring first and second image information; and a processor. The processor can generate an around view image including a first area including a subject overlapping area and a second area excluding the subject overlapping area, on the basis of first and second images. The subject overlapping area is disposed between first and second boundary lines in the first and second images. The first boundary line is located in the first area, and the second boundary line adjoins the second area. If it is predicted that a first object will pass through the second boundary line due to the first object approaching within a predetermined distance thereto, the processor can generate an around view image in which the second area is changed so that the second area includes the subject overlapping area.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR MONITORING HUMAN BODY WEIGHT WITH VEHICLE SENSORS AND BIG DATA AI ANALYTICS
A weight management system for managing vehicle seat occupant body weight by using vehicle cameras and weight sensors of a plurality of vehicles having onboard communication modules. Each vehicle is equipped to analyze and compare weight changes of the vehicle seat occupant over time. Based on the weight status, a weight management recommendation can be transmitted to the vehicle seat occupant. Each vehicle is operatively connected to a weight management application in a data center. The weight management application includes a registration module which registers each vehicle. Additionally, a vehicle seat occupant may register with the weight management application to have his/her weight analyzed when travelling in any of the plurality of vehicles. The weight management application requests a search of a data lake and analysis of search results by a weight data artificial intelligence analytics program to improve the weight management recommendation.
Vehicular camera with lens/cover cleaning feature
A vehicular camera module configured for mounting at an exterior portion of a vehicle includes a housing, a camera disposed in the housing, and a transparent cover rotatably mounted at the housing. The camera views through the transparent cover. With the vehicular camera module mounted at the exterior portion of the vehicle, the camera views through the transparent cover in order to capture image data of a scene exterior of the vehicle. With the vehicular camera module mounted at the exterior portion of the vehicle, the transparent cover rotates relative to the camera and the housing at a rotational speed of at least 1,000 rotations per minute to at least partially remove water and/or debris from an outer surface of the transparent cover.
VEHICULAR EXTERIOR LIGHTING SYSTEM WITH GROUND ILLUMINATION
A vehicular exterior lighting system includes a lighting module disposed at a side of a vehicle. The lighting module includes at least one light emitting diode. The lighting module is operable to emit light that is viewable by a person exterior the side of the vehicle who is viewing the side of the vehicle. The lighting module emits white light responsive to a signal from a remote device to provide ground illumination of a ground region at the side of the vehicle at which the lighting module is disposed, and the lighting module (i) emits a first color of light responsive to a door lock signal and (ii) emits a second color of light responsive to a door unlock signal. The first color of light is different than the second color of light.
Proximal monitoring device
The invention relates to a proximal monitoring device comprising a ring defining a volume in which a plurality of cameras is mounted. The cameras have fields that are angularly distributed around said ring and at least one of the cameras is associated with a device for scanning azimuthally in a plane normal to a central axis of the ring.

System and method for presentation and control of augmented vehicle surround views
Methods and systems for presentation and control of an augmented virtual vehicle view with surround view imaging, that include generating a stitched image view based on surround view image data for a vehicle and generating a pose estimation for the vehicle, wherein the pose estimation provides a vehicle position and a vehicle orientation relative to the stitched image view. In one or more examples, the methods and systems include augmenting the stitched image view to include one or more graphical elements based on the pose estimation for the vehicle, presenting a graphical display of the stitched image view including the one or more graphical elements and a vehicle avatar. Further, in at least one example, the methods and systems may include detecting position commands for a position of the vehicle avatar within the graphical display and updating the avatar position and iconography in response to the position commands.
Semiconductor device, image processing system, image processing method and computer readable storage medium
A semiconductor device includes an image data acquisition circuit which acquires a plurality of first captured image data and a plurality of second captured image data at a first time and a second time, an adjustment region determination circuit which detects a target object from the plurality of first captured image data, and determines an adjustment region by estimating a position of the target object at the second time, a color adjustment circuit configured to determine a color adjustment gain based on the adjustment region, and perform color balance adjustment processing on the plurality of second captured image data based on the color adjustment gain, and an image synthesis circuit configured to synthesize the plurality of second captured image data so that overlapping regions included in a plurality of images of the plurality of second captured image data overlap each other.
360 DEGREE TRAILER CAMERA VIEW SYSTEM
Systems and methods for receiving a video feed from a trailer control module disposed in a vehicle trailer are described. One method includes aggregating a trailer front view, a trailer rear view, a trailer left view, and a trailer right view into an aggregated birds-eye view at a first control module disposed on the trailer, and sending the aggregated view to a vehicle towing the trailer via a single auxiliary video channel integrated into a trailer hitch wiring harness. The method further includes receiving the feed of the birds-eye view at the second control module disposed in the vehicle via the single auxiliary camera input channel, and displaying the trailer birds-eye view video feed at an output display disposed in a cabin of the towing vehicle. The birds-eye view may be output on a split screen in conjunction with a rear-view of the trailer, obtained from a vehicle camera system.
