ASPHALT COMPACTOR BIRDS EYE CAMERA INTEGRATION
A compactor machine can include a machine frame; at least one cylindrical roller drum rotatably coupled to the machine frame and rotatable about a drum axis oriented generally transverse to a direction of travel of the compactor machine; a plurality of cameras mounted to the machine frame so as to provide a 360° bird's eye view of an area around the machine; a display showing the 360° bird's eye view; and a controller; wherein, the controller is configured to determine certain conditions regarding a compacting operation of the compactor machine and the controller overlays a highlight symbol on the 360° bird's eye view on the display notifying a machine operator of the certain conditions.
TRAILER HITCHING ASSISTANCE SYSTEM INCLUDING TRAILER TYPE IDENTIFICATION AND ADAPTIVE INTERFACE
A system for assisting in aligning a vehicle for hitching with a trailer includes a first camera and a second camera and outputting image data to the rear of the vehicle and a controller identifying at least one of the trailer or a coupling feature of the trailer within the image data and assigning a trailer type to the trailer identified within the image data, the trailer type including a first trailer type and a second trailer type. The controller further causes a portion of the image data to be presented on a display within the vehicle, the portion of the image data corresponding with the first camera in response to the trailer being assigned the first trailer type and corresponding with the second camera in response to the trailer being assigned the second trailer type.
VIDEO SIGNAL PROCESSING APPARATUS
A video signal processing apparatus according to an embodiment includes a controller. The controller receives (i) a plurality of video signals from a plurality of video sources including a camera and (ii) a specifying signal that specifies which one of the video signals is to be output to a display apparatus. The controller changes a wait time from an input of the specifying signal to an output of the video signal specified by the specifying signal to the display apparatus based on which one of the plurality of the video sources corresponds to the video signal specified by the specifying signal.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DETERMINING AN ARTICULATED TRAILER ANGLE
Systems and methods determine an angle of an articulated trailer relative to a tractor that the trailer is hitched to. An optical encoder is positioned beneath a fifth-wheel of a tractor to couples with a kingpin of the trailer when the trailer is hitched to the tractor. The optical coupler has a rotating shaft that may include pins that physically interact with the kingpin and/or may include a magnet that magnetically attaches to the kingpin. A clearance and cleaning block may be positioned on the spring plate to interact with a bottom surface of a kingpin of the trailer during hitching of the trailer to the tractor. A LIDAR attached to the tractor may detect a front end of the trailer to determine the trailer angle relative to the tractor.
Parking support device
In a tilt parking mode, “a target parking position” can be accurately determined without changing a camera tilt angle and an HMI display range, and can be notified to a driver, so that the usability can be improved. A parking support device includes an external field recognition unit such as a camera and a sonar, which recognizes an external field, an information holding unit which holds information of a parking frame line recognized by the external field recognition unit, a parking region extraction unit which extracts a parking region from information of the parking frame line, a parking position determination unit which determines a target parking position from the parking region, and a path calculation unit which calculates a parking path from a current position of an own vehicle up to the target parking position. In a case where part of the parking frame line is not recognized by the camera, the target parking position is defined on the basis of lines connecting an end point of the parking frame line on a rear side of the own vehicle, a virtually extending line of the parking frame line on a front side of the own vehicle, and a point intersecting with the virtual line on a front side of the vehicle from the end point of the parking frame line on the rear side of the own vehicle.
Apparatus for monitoring the blind spot of a motor vehicle
An apparatus for monitoring the blind spot of a motor vehicle has a mirror assembly with at least one mirror element that can be moved using an actuator, and a microphone assembly. The microphone assembly is designed to determine the sound direction, and the movable mirror element is in the form of a sound reflector.
Electronic device for performing object detection and operation method thereof
An electronic device includes: a first image sensor that outputs a first image produced by photographing a first viewing angle; a second image sensor that outputs a second image produced by photographing a second viewing angle that overlaps a portion of the first viewing angle; a third image sensor that outputs a third image produced by photographing a third viewing angle; and a processor that performs object detection on an object included in an image. The processor generates disparity information indicating a separation degree of a feature point of the first and second images, transforms the third image based on the disparity information, and performs object detection on the transformed third image.
DISPLAY METHOD FOR A-PILLAR-MOUNTED DISPLAY ASSEMBLIES, AND DISPLAY DEVICE OF A-PILLARS OF VEHICLE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM THEREOF
A display method for a display assembly, a display system, and a display device of a vehicle column A, and a storage medium. According to the display method, by means of a conversion relationship between a coordinate system of a target feature model and a camera coordinate system of a driver monitoring assembly and a conversion relationship between the coordinate system of the target feature model and a world coordinate system, a conversion relationship between the camera coordinate system and the world coordinate system is obtained, a coordinate of the display assembly in the world coordinate system can be converted into a coordinate in the camera coordinate system, and thus whether a driver watches the display assembly can be simply determined. The problem that it is difficult to determine, directly according to the eyes of the driver and a spatial position of the display assembly, whether the driver watches the display assembly is solved, and the effect of reducing the difficulty of determining whether the driver watches the display assembly is achieved.
Method and system for assisting drivers in locating objects that may move into their vehicle path
A system and method for assisting drivers of vehicles are described. The systems and methods provide an extended view of the area surrounding the driver's vehicle while providing real-time object trajectory for objects and other vehicles that may enter the driver's reactionary zone. The system and methods capture images of the area surrounding the driver's vehicle and create a composite image of that area in real-time and using Augmented Reality (AR) create a 3-D overlay to warn the driver as objects or other vehicles enter the driver's reactionary zone so that a driver can make more informed driving decisions.
DUAL-SIDED DISPLAY FOR A VEHICLE
A vehicle can include a window including an interior side and an exterior side. The vehicle can include a camera located on an exterior of the vehicle. The camera can be operatively positioned to capture visual data of a blind spot of an external environment of the vehicle. The vehicle can include a dual-sided transparent display forming at least a portion of the window. The vehicle can include a processor operatively connected to the camera and the dual-sided transparent display. The processor can be configured to selectively cause the dual-sided transparent display to display exterior visual information on the exterior side. The processor can be configured to selectively cause the dual-sided transparent to display interior visual information on the interior side. The interior visual information can include the visual data of the blind spot of the vehicle.
