A composite panoramic vision system utilized onboard a work vehicle includes a display device, a vehicle-mounted camera array, and a controller. The vehicle-mounted camera array includes, in turn, first and second vehicle cameras having partially overlapping fields of view and positioned to capture first and second camera feeds, respectively, of the work vehicle's exterior environment from different first vantage points. During operation of the composite panoramic vision system, the controller receives the first and second camera feeds from the first and second cameras, respectively; generates a composite panoramic image of the work vehicle's exterior environment from at least the first and second camera feeds; and then presents the composite panoramic image on the display device for viewing by an operator of the work vehicle.

For the current combination situation, a historical combination situation is fetched and corresponding feedbacks analyzed and an ideal feedback, that has comparatively least number of negative driver reactions, is determined.

A left camera starts to capture an image. An image capturing region of a right camera is set to be below that of the left camera, and the start of image capture by the right camera is delayed. Image capture by the right camera starts after a time difference has elapsed. Feature points in images from the left and right cameras are extracted, and feature points in the vicinity of a height set in advance in the left and right images are extracted. Detection is performed to ascertain whether the average value of a left/right difference for a plurality of points is set in advance, and a difference at the current time is calculated.
