Interior Camera Apparatus, Driver Assistance Apparatus Having The Same And Vehicle Having The Same
An interior camera apparatus includes a frame body and a stereo camera provided in the frame body and including a first camera and a second camera. The interior camera apparatus also includes a light module provided in the frame body and configured to radiate infrared light; and a circuit board connected to the stereo camera and the light module. The light module includes a first light emitting element and a second light emitting element. The interior camera apparatus is configured to direct infrared light emitted from the first light emitting element in a first irradiation direction and to direct infrared light emitted from the second light emitting element in a second irradiation direction different from the first irradiation direction.
VEHICLE COMMUNICATION SYSTEM
A vehicle includes a vehicle seating assembly defining a first occupant space. The assembly includes a seat bottom and a seat back operably coupled to the seat bottom. The seat back includes a head rest area and a back panel. A display is positioned on a rear of the seat back. A first camera is positioned within the display and configured to transmit a first video signal. A human machine interface includes a screen configured to display the first video signal from the first camera.
Systems And Methods For Mitigating Wind Throb In Vehicles
Systems and methods for mitigating wind throb in vehicles are disclosed herein. An example method includes detecting wind throb in a cabin of a vehicle due to opening of a first window of the vehicle, determining when a seat that is adjacent to a second window of the vehicle is unoccupied, opening the second window when the seat is determined to be unoccupied so as to compensate for the wind throb, determining that the first window has been closed, and closing the second window in response to closing of the first window.
VEHICLE USER INTERFACE APPARATUS AND VEHICLE
A vehicle user interface apparatus for a vehicle including a light emitting unit configured to emit light; a touch sensor configured to sense a touch; a processor configured to control the light emitting unit to emit the light in response to an event, activate the touch sensor when the light is emitted, and provide a signal to control a vehicle device corresponding to a touch input received through the activated touch sensor; and a cover covering the light emitting unit, the touch sensor, and the processor, the cover configured to transmit the light into a passenger compartment with a specific shape when the light is emitted.
Vehicular camera with metallic housing
A vehicular camera includes a metallic front housing member having a circuit board attachment portion, a lens barrel extending outward from the circuit board attachment portion and accommodating at least one lens, and a circuit board having an imager disposed at a first side and a circuit board connector disposed at a second side. With the circuit board attached at the circuit board attachment portion, the at least one lens is aligned with the imager and the lens barrel is retained relative to the metallic front housing member via cured UV curable adhesive. A metallic rear housing member is attached to the metallic front housing member and the circuit board is accommodated in a cavity formed by the attached metallic front and metallic rear housing members. An electrical connector is electrically connected to the circuit board connector and is configured for electrically connecting to an electrical cable of a vehicle.
Vehicular accessory system
A vehicular accessory system includes an attachment element adhered at an interior surface of a windshield of a vehicle and an accessory assembly attached to the attachment element. The accessory assembly includes circuitry disposed in the housing, the circuitry including a video camera. The video camera, when the accessory assembly is attached to the attachment element, has a field of view into the interior of the vehicle that encompasses the head of a potential driver of the vehicle. The video camera captures an image of the face of the potential driver and, responsive to image processing by image recognition software of the vehicular accessory system, the vehicular accessory system determines that the potential driver is an authorized driver who is authorized to operate the vehicle and, responsive to this determination, enables the ignition system to allow the motor of the vehicle be started.
System and method for determining the information transfer rate between a driver and vehicle
A method and a system for determining an information transfer rate between a driver and a vehicle, where the information transfer rate is calculated using driver information measured directly from the driver and vehicle information measured directly from the vehicle. The method also includes retrieving a baseline information transfer rate for maintaining control of the vehicle from a baseline information transfer rate database. A driver safety factor is calculated using the information transfer rate and the baseline information transfer rate.
DRIVER MONITORING SYSTEM IN A MOTOR VEHICLE
A driver monitoring system for a motor vehicle, including at least one camera device, which has at least one camera unit situated on a support element and at least one infrared emitter. It is provided that the support element includes at least one device for locking the infrared emitter in place on the support element.
CAMERA ARRAY SYSTEM AND METHOD TO DETECT A LOAD STATUS OF A SEMI-TRAILER TRUCK
Disclosed are a method, a device and/or a system of utilizing a camera array system to detect a load status of a semi-trailer truck. A sensor array is affixed to a surface of a trailer of the semi-trailer truck to automatically determine whether a cargo area of the semi-trailer truck is occupied. A set of cameras of the sensor array have each camera embedded in individual recesses of the sensor array. The cargo area is illuminated using at least one light source of the sensor array. A memory and a processor associated with the sensor array are configured to store one baseline image of the cargo area of the trailer in an empty state. The processor is configured to detect a triggering event. The processor determines a cargo status based upon a difference between the current image and the baseline image, and sends the cargo status to a dispatcher.
Camera in a Vehicle
An arrangement is provided having a camera, wherein the camera is arranged in a vehicle. A movement of a user of the vehicle is determined by use of the camera and a processing device, wherein an interactive program is executable dependent on the movement of the user. Such an arrangement can provide signals which, for example, enable an interaction between the user and a system in the vehicle.
