Systems and methods are provided for detecting an object in front of a vehicle. In one implementation, an object detecting system includes an image capture device configured to acquire a plurality of images of an area, a data interface, and a processing device programmed to compare a first image to a second image to determine displacement vectors between pixels, to search for a region of coherent expansion that is a set of pixels in at least one of the first image and the second image, for which there exists a common focus of expansion and a common scale magnitude such that the set of pixels satisfy a relationship between pixel positions, displacement vectors, the common focus of expansion, and the common scale magnitude, and to identify presence of a substantially upright object based on the set of pixels.
Display system of vehicle
A display system of a vehicle includes a person detection device that detects a person on one side of the vehicle in a top view of the vehicle, a display device provided on the vehicle exterior on the side opposite to the one side of the vehicle, and a controller that controls the display device. When the person detection device detects a person, the controller controls the display device to display a warning indicating presence of the person, on a display of the display device.

The display controller sets a base point at a position of the attention target on the windshield, sets a display position of the attention mark at a position which is a predetermined distance away from the base point.

A shovel includes a traveling body, a turning body turnably mounted on the traveling body, an object detecting part configured to detect a predetermined object around the shovel, a controller configured to restrict a motion of the shovel or report detection of an object when the object is detected, and a canceling part configured to execute a cancellation of restricting the motion or reporting the detection. The second controller can perform first and second correction processing. The third controller receives an input of the image, and outputs information indicating a location of a recognized object. The fourth controller receives an input of the image, and superimposes a drawing indicating the location of the recognized object onto a corresponding location in the image.
Vehicle vision system with master-slave camera configuration
A vision system of a vehicle includes a plurality of cameras disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view exterior of the vehicle. A display device is operable to display images for viewing by a driver of the vehicle. The plurality of cameras includes a master camera and at least one slave camera. The at least one slave camera communicates a signal to the master slave camera representative of image data captured by the at least one slave camera. The master camera includes an image signal processor for processing image data captured by at least the master camera. The master camera includes a view generator operable to generate images for display by the display device, with the generated images derived from image data captured by the master camera and the signal communicated by the at least one slave camera.
