FLUID SPRAY NOZZLE
A fluid spray nozzle includes a first member that is configured to be fixed to a sensor or a mounted portion to which the sensor is mounted, and a second member that is fixed to the first member. The first member has a fluid inlet and a first fluid passage that is connected to the fluid inlet. The second member has a second fluid passage that is connected to the first fluid passage, and a spray port from which the fluid that has passed through the second fluid passage is sprayed onto a predetermined location of the sensor.
Multi-channel cleaning apparatus, multi-channel sensor-cleaning module, and vehicle
A multi-channel cleaning apparatus is disclosed for a vehicle to provide a liquid cleaning pulse and/or a compressed-air cleaning pulse for at least two cleaning nozzles. The multi-channel cleaning apparatus includes a module compressed-air port for admitting compressed air and a module liquid port for admitting cleaning liquid. At least two nozzle branches are provided wherein one nozzle branch is configured for supplying at least one cleaning nozzle independently of another nozzle branch.

Roof module for forming a vehicle roof comprising a cleaning device and method for cleaning a see-through area
The invention relates to a roof module for forming a vehicle roof (100) on a motor vehicle, the roof module comprising a panel component (12) which at least partially forms a roof skin (14) of the vehicle roof (100) and serves as an outer sealing surface of the roof module (10), at least one sensor module (15) comprising a controller (27) and at least one environment sensor (16) configured to send and/or receive electromagnetic signals through a see-through area (20) in order to detect a vehicle environment, and at least one cleaning device (23) comprising at least one cleaning nozzle (24) configured to clean the see-through area (20). The at least one environment sensor (16) is configured to detect at least one object (28) moving toward the see-through area (20) in the form of image data, and the controller (27) is configured to generate at least one object information from the image data and to prompt the at least one cleaning nozzle (24) to discharge a cleaning fluid based thereon.
VEHICLE DUST REMOVING APPARATUS
A vehicle dust removing apparatus includes an acquisition unit configured to acquire a temperature of an object to be processed of a vehicle that runs in a low-temperature environment, a temperature of the object to be processed being configured to be able to be increased, a dust removing unit configured to be able to reduce a temperature of gas to be sprayed to the object to be processed and remove dust by spraying gas to the object to be processed, and a control unit configured to control spraying of the gas by the dust removing unit by at least one of increasing the temperature of the object to be processed and reducing the temperature of the gas based on the temperature of the object to be processed, acquired by the acquisition unit.
System and method for a sensor protection mechanism
The present teaching relates to method, system, medium, and implementation for sensor protection. It is determined whether a cleaning operation needs to be applied to a portion of a sensor assembly deployed on a vehicle and hosting a sensor therein to acquire information of a surrounding through the portion to facilitate autonomous driving. If the cleaning operation is to be applied, at least one type of cleaning is selected to be carried out by one or more devices mounted on the sensor assembly with respect to the portion. For each of the devices, needed control signal is generated for activating the device to perform a cleaning task the device is configured for and sent to the device to clean the certain portion of the sensor assembly in order to prevent degradation in the information acquired by the sensor through the portion.
