Vehicle Underbody Rinser
A water rinsing apparatus is disclosed for spraying water upwardly against the underbody of a vehicle to rinse and clean the surfaces thereof. The water rinsing apparatus includes a water delivery tube connectable at its inlet end to a garden hose, and at its outlet end to a manifold which distributes water to a plurality of upwardly directed water spray nozzles mounted in the body of the manifold. Wheels are rotatably mounted on fixed axle members projecting longitudinally from opposite sides of the body of the manifold, and provide maneuverability for the apparatus.
Wheel cleaning implement
A cleaning implement has one or more strategically placed brushes, stubs and/or permanent/disposable towels which engage the surfaces of a movable surface (including wheels or tires), and unique mechanical motion assistance means powered by motion, inertia and/or mechanical/electrical batteries to allow for the cleaning of a wheel or tire with a single hand operation.
WHEEL CLEANING AND BLOWING METHOD
The invention discloses a wheel cleaning and blowing method. A flange plate on a sliding table I ascends from a low position to a high position, a flange plate on a sliding table II descends from a preset high position to the low position. A upper servo motor is started to drive the sliding table I and the sliding table II to move synchronously to the center, the wheel entering a cleaning system is cleaned in all directions. A lower servo motor is started to drive a rotating disk to rotate 180 degrees, the wheel enters a blowing system from the cleaning system. The upper servo motor stops working, the idle sliding table II moves to the initial position of the left station, the sliding table I moves to the initial position of the right station.
Pad element for a rotary brush vehicle wash component
A component for a vehicle wash system includes a rotatable stem portion and a backing member in communication with the rotatable stem portion. The backing member is configured to rotate with the stem portion about an axis of rotation defined by the centerline of the stem portion. A plurality of media elements are secured to the backing member with the plurality of media elements being constructed of a generally self-supporting, non-marring material and wherein the plurality of media elements are oriented generally perpendicular to the backing member. The plurality of media elements configured to rotate in a working plane defined by the backing member and the working plane is oriented generally perpendicularly to the axis of rotation. Additionally, the plurality of media elements are configured during a wash process to contact at least an exterior painted surface of a vehicle to effectuate cleaning thereof.
Method for operating a dirt stop surface, dirt stop surface unit and dirt stop surface assembled therefrom
The invention relates to a method for cleaning of indoor or outdoor areas by operating a dirt stop surface, comprising the steps of dividing the dirt stop surface (1) into surface units (4), dispensing a fluid flow on the surface to be cleaned, while the proximity of the surface to be cleaned is sensed separately for each surface unit (4), and the fluid is dispensed from the surface units (4) of the dirt stop surface in a selective manner such that only the surface units (4) in the proximity of which the presence of the surface to be cleaned has been sensed are applied for dispensing the fluid. The invention relates further to a dirt stop surface unit and a dirt stop surface assembled therefrom that is capable of carrying out the method.
Wheel cleaning and blowing device and method
The invention discloses a wheel cleaning and blowing device, which is composed of four systems: a wheel positioning system, which completes initial positioning of a wheel on a roller bed and finds the position of a valve hole; a wheel advancing and dry-wet conversion system, in which the wheel advances while rotating, thus completing double-station dry-wet conversion of the wheel; a high-pressure water cleaning system, which is matched with the advancing rotating wheel to clean the wheel; and a compressed air blowing system, which is matched with the advancing rotating wheel to blow the wheel uniformly. The invention simultaneously discloses a wheel cleaning and blowing method. By adopting the device and the method, the wheel moves forward all the time during cleaning and blowing, the cycle is short, the efficiency is high, cleaning and blowing are integrated, and dry-wet separation is realized.
Wheel cleaning system
Wheel cleaning systems and methods are described for removing corrosion from a wheel rim. An enclosure comprises a plurality of walls that define a work area, and houses a turntable that can hold a wheel rim. The turntable is driven by a motor to rotate the wheel about an axis. The enclosure may have a transparent shield or window to allow a user to view the wheel during the cleaning process and be protected from sparks and other debris. The enclosure may be fully enclosed with gloved openings, or contain one or more open sections to allow the user to maneuver a tool (e.g., a grinder) in multiple positions within the enclosure, and clean the wheel rim. The system further comprises an exhaust unit that draws out small particles and airborne debris from within the enclosure, and produced during a cleaning process.
WHEEL WASHING APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR CLEANING A WHEEL AND VEHICLE CLEANING INSTALLATION
The present invention relates to a wheel washing apparatus for cleaning a wheel of a motor vehicle, comprising a brush device which includes or forms at least one brush that is placeable against the wheel, a drive device for rotatingly driving the at least one brush, and an advancing device with which the brush device is transferable from a rest position remote from the wheel into at least one use position near the wheel, wherein the brush device is lowerable by means of the advancing device upon moving in the direction of the wheel, wherein the brush device is moveable by means of the advancing device along a trajectory having at least one inflection point upon moving from the rest position into the at least one use position. The invention also relates to a vehicle washing installation and a method for cleaning a wheel.
WHEEL CLEANING DEVICE
The present application discloses a wheel cleaning device comprises a lifting rotating system, a central hole cleaning system, a cleaning system for inner rim and back cavity, a synchronous clamping drive system, an outer rim cleaning system, and a bolt hole cleaning system, etc. The device may not only separately clean the center hole, the bolt hole, the inner rim and the outer rim of the wheel, but also may regulate the position and the angle of each nozzle according to the diameter and the height of the wheel.
Temperature Controlled Applicator for Car Washes
A vehicle wheel and tire cleaning apparatus for use in an automatic car wash line, including an applicator box comprised of an outer compartment, the outer compartment defining an open space containing cleaning solution supply and connected to a cleaning solution supply piping and a flow control valve; the cleaning solution supply passing through the outer compartment; the cleaning solution supply piping having at least one spray nozzle connected thereto, wherein the cleaning solution supply piping has connected thereto a cleaning solution tank, a check valve, a bifurcated pipe and at least two spray nozzles, with an inline air diaphragm pump placed between the outer compartment and the check valve; a flow control valve inline with the cleaning solution supply piping; and the applicator box being positionable on the automatic car wash line.
