Apparatus and method for cleaning a surface with multiple protruding studs
The disclosure is directed at a method and apparatus for cleaning a surface having multiple protruding studs. The apparatus includes a top plate portion and a bottom plate portion along with a drive assembly which assists in moving the bottom plate portion with respect to the top plate portion. The drive assembly also translates rotational forces applied by a rotary tool to linear forces which are then applied to the bottom plate portion to clean the surface.
Drive technology for vehicle treatment installations, in particular washing installations
A drive technology for vehicle treatment installations. The drive technology comprises a washing installation drive motor (2) for a vehicle treatment system (69). The washing installation drive motor (2) is preferably configured as a synchronous motor, in particular as a brushless DC motor. The drive motor (2) has an internal rotor (3) with a hollow shaft (5). As an alternative, or in addition, the washing installation drive motor (2) is configured as a modular drive unit (7). The modular drive unit (7) has a uniform configuration and is provided and configured for driving different apparatus constituent parts of a washing installation. The drive technology further includes a washing installation drive (1), a treatment element (52, 55, 57, 64) and also a vehicle treatment system (60) with a corresponding washing installation drive motor (2), and an associated operating method.
Foam generating device
A foam generating device includes a housing defining an agitation chamber and a conditioning chamber. A cartridge assembly arranged within the agitation chamber defines an agitation flow path of the solution to increase a quantity of a gas in the solution. A conditioning assembly arranged within the conditioning chamber defines a tortuous flow path for the solution including a plurality of cylindrical discs configured to sequentially receive the solution. Each of the discs defines a plurality of radial ribs on a first side and on a second side opposite the first side, the first and second sides separated by a floor, and a disc passage defined in the floor. The conditioning assembly is adjustable in order to selectively define the tortuous flow path with a first quantity of radial ribs and second quantity of radial ribs in order to alter the aeration of the solution along the tortuous path.
CLEANING UNIT AND CLEANING ARRANGEMENT FOR VEHICLE TIRES
A cleaning arrangement for cleaning vehicle tires is disclosed. The cleaning arrangement includes at least one cleaning module. The cleaning module has a frame with walls, a floor and a collection space for contaminants and one or more cleaning units above the collection space. The cleaning unit has a grate arrangement and a plurality of bristle rails as well as intermediate rails transverse to the direction of travel of the vehicle. At least a portion of the rails are secured to the grate arrangement by flexible arrangements that flex as the vehicle passes over the rails, causing the rails to tilt and vibrate the tire, thereby enhancing the release of contaminants from the tires.
Trackout mat
A block includes a first block portion, a second block portion, a third block portion and a fourth block portion. The first block portion has a first upper surface, a second upper surface, and a lower surface. The second block portion is over the first block portion and has a third upper surface. The third block portion is over the first block portion and has a fourth upper surface. The fourth block portion is over the first block portion, has a fifth upper surface, and is positioned between the second block portion and the third block portion. A first recessed region is between the second block portion and the fourth block portion. A second recessed region is between the third block portion and the fourth block portion. The first upper surface is exposed in the first recessed region and the second upper surface is exposed in the second recessed region.
WHEEL OUTER RIM GROOVE POLISHING DEVICE
The wheel outer rim groove polishing device includes three major systems, which are a wheel rotation system which is used for positioning, clamping and rotating of a wheel, thereby polishing all grooves in the circumferential direction of the wheel, a left polishing system for reciprocally polishing groove tool grains in the longitudinal direction, and a right polishing system for reciprocally polishing groove tool grains in the transverse direction; and three systems cooperate with each other and are combined orderly to jointly complete the polishing of tool grains on the wheel outer rim grooves. The present disclosure can meet the requirements for polishing the tool grains on the wheel outer rim grooves. Compared with artificial polishing, the device improves the polishing effect, improves the work efficiency, and reduces the risk of rim deformation. The device has the characteristics of high efficiency, practicality, easy manufacture, flexible operation and the like.
TRUCK TRACKOUT CLEANING SYSTEM
A system for cleaning tires of a vehicle traveling along a longitudinal direction over the system includes modular tire cleaning units with debris removal elements. Each unit includes debris removal elements, such as a first chain assembly supported between supports and over a substrate and extending substantially transverse to the longitudinal direction, the first chain assembly defining a first tire track. A second chain assembly is supported between second sets of supports and over the substrate and extending substantially transverse to the longitudinal direction, the second chain assembly defining a second tire track parallel and spaced apart from the first tire channel. The system may include a second modular tire cleaning unit with longitudinally extending chains and/or a trough holding water and/or sprayers at the side of the system.
Devices for rim and tire cleaning
A portable device is provided for cleaning vehicle rims. The device includes a connector having a first portion connected to a removable roller. A wheel base element is connected to a second portion of the connector. A handle is connected to an end of the wheel base portion. The removable roller includes multiple cleaning elements. Another device provides a frame for cleaning vehicle fender wells. A retractable frame is connected to a handle, a brush guide, a multiple guides, a leg guide, multiple ball guides, multiple swivel legs and a rest plate. A well brush is connected to the retractable frame and rotates on the frame.
VEHICLE DRYING ASSEMBLY
A vehicle drying assembly has a frame defining a path for movement of a vehicle through the drying assembly and a side brush rotatable about a generally horizontal axis. The side brush includes brush segments that extend radially from the axis to contact a side of the vehicle in a direction generally normal to the path, as the first side brush rotates about its generally horizontal axis. The side brush is mounted at a defined height above the ground and at a distance relative to the vehicle along the path, so as to define a no-contact region on the side of the vehicle in which the side brush does not contact the vehicle as the side brush rotates and the vehicle moves through the drying assembly.
AUTOMATIC UNDERCARRIAGE SPRAYER
Vehicle undercarriage cleaners clean the undercarriage of vehicles. Dirt, mud, Salt, chemicals, Snow and other materials accumulate on the undersides of vehicles. This vehicle undercarriage cleaner removes these materials without requiring the user to manipulate it during use. A sensor at the front of the system is used to tell when a vehicle is passing over. As the vehicle passes over a row of nozzles, aiming upwards, connected to a water pump, is activated removing any debris from the undercarriage.
