FLIGHT INSTRUCTING METHOD AND DEVICE, AND AERIAL VEHICLE
The present disclosure provides a flight instructing method and device as well as an aerial vehicle. The flight instructing method may comprise: obtaining meteorological information of a target flight region; determining a flight-limiting parameter candidate of an aerial vehicle in the target flight region according to the obtained meteorological information; and issuing a flight-limiting indication based on the determined flight-limiting parameter candidate.
Flight control for flight-restricted regions
Systems, methods, and devices are provided for providing flight response to flight-restricted regions. The location of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) may be compared with a location of a flight-restricted region. If needed a flight-response measure may be taken by the UAV to prevent the UAV from flying in a no-fly zone. Different flight-response measures may be taken based on the distance between the UAV and the flight-restricted region and the rules of a jurisdiction within which the UAV falls.
OPEN ARCHITECTURE FOR FLIGHT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
A method for managing avionic data between a flight management system FMS and one or more clients, the FMS comprising resources accessible through avionic services Ci (1,n); the execution of the Ci (1,n) determining an avionic functionality Fj (1,m); each of the Fj (1,m) associated with an intrusiveness parameter I.sub.k and a criticality parameter C.sub.k; the method comprises the steps of receiving a request specifying the call to an Fj (1,m); and determining a predefined execution right for a Ci (1,n), dependent on the predefined intrusiveness and/or criticality parameters associated with the Fj (1,m). Developments describe particularly the comparison of the execution rights, notice of a rejection, various avionic services and functionalities, the management of criticality ranges, consideration of the flight context, etc. Software and system aspects are described (e.g. equipment of EFB type).
THREAT COUNTERMEASURE ASSISTANCE SYSTEM
Some embodiments include a countermeasure assistance system that, in response to detecting a threat to an aircraft, calculates and presents via a user interface an instruction to assist a pilot in evading the threat. For example, the system may determine a direction to which the aircraft should be turned to present a beam of the aircraft toward the threat, which may assist in evading a radar-enabled threat. The system may calculate a shortest turn to present the beam to the threat. The system may additionally display information regarding a position, nature, and degree of the threat, including through formatting of at least a portion of a user interface for displaying information regarding the threat. The system may additionally calculate and display an intervisibility zone for the threat and for the aircraft's current position to further assist the pilot in navigating to an area at which the threat may be evaded.
Data driven airplane intent inferencing
Method, system and computer program product for providing a predicted vehicle track and for providing alerts when two predicted vehicle tracks are closer than a threshold amount. A vehicle intent prediction model is generated based on past instance of tracks for a vehicle operation, known vehicle intent data for the past instances, and contextual factors, such as weather, airline operator, air vehicle type or configuration, day of the week, etc. for the past instances. The vehicle intent prediction model can be generated using one or more machine learning algorithms. A future vehicle trajectory for a current vehicle operation can be output by the vehicle intent prediction model using the current track and existing contextual factors for the current vehicle operation. In the event that two vehicles following their respective predicted vehicle future trajectories would be closer than a threshold distance, an alert can be provided.
Navigational aids
Systems, methods and computer-storage media are provided for use of navigational aids. Three-dimensional graphical representations of flight plans, flight paths, waypoints, etc., may be displayed to improve situational awareness. Additionally, dynamic monitoring of airports, waypoints, traffic, etc., may be performed so that real-time updates are available to users. The real-time updates will not only include updated location information and any relevant navigational markers (e.g., updated waypoints, new traffic, etc.) but will also include detailed information related to the navigational markers such as a distance from the marker, an airspeed of the marker (if applicable), and the like.
ALTERNATIVE COMMUNICATIONS FOR AN AIR VEHICLE
An example air vehicle includes a transponder to transmit a code indicative of a communications systems failure on the air vehicle. The example air vehicle includes a satellite receiver to receive, after the transponder code has been transmitted, a message from a satellite in communication with the air vehicle. The satellite receiver is to identify the message as including a command for the air vehicle and decode the message to determine the command. The example air vehicle includes a processor to execute the command.
ALERT DEVICE, ALERT METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An alert device according to an aspect of the present disclosure includes: at least one memory storing a set of instructions; and at least one processor configured to execute the set of instructions to: identify, from measurement data of a flying object by a sensor, a position of the flying object; determine whether the flying object is located within a predetermined region; determine whether a signal of a predetermined pattern assigned to a mission in the predetermined region is received from the flying object determined to be located within the predetermined region; determine, in a case where no signal of the predetermined pattern is received from the flying object, that the flying object is an unpermitted flying object that is not permitted to enter the predetermined region; and cause a light projection device to irradiate a position of the unpermitted flying object with light.
Status reporting system for aircraft
An aircraft analysis application retrieves transponder data that is output by a transponder mounted on an aircraft. The transponder data is indicative of locations of the aircraft over a period of time. The aircraft analysis application maps the locations of the aircraft indicated by the transponder to a jurisdictional map identifying boundaries of a plurality of jurisdictions. The aircraft analysis application computes a fractional portion of time spent by the aircraft in a first jurisdiction in the plurality of jurisdictions based upon the locations of the aircraft indicated by the transponder and the jurisdictional map. The aircraft analysis application generates a jurisdictional status report that comprises a graphical indication of the fractional portion of time spent by the aircraft in the first jurisdiction.
Continuous remote maintenance and monitoring of radio equipment in an air traffic management environment
A system for remotely monitoring communications equipment is provided that includes at least one communications remote monitoring panel (CRMP) operatively coupled to a plurality of radios. The CRMP is configured for communicating messages that includes queries for information relating to radio functionality to and information responsive to the queries for information from the plurality of radios using one of a plurality of communication specifications. A first of the plurality of radios is configured to communicate using a first communication specification and a second of the plurality of radios is configured to communicate using a second communication specification, and the CRMP is further configured to determine, for each of at least the first radio and the second radio, an applicable communication specification and communicate with the first radio and second radio using the applicable communication specification.
