ELECTROMECHANICAL DISK BRAKE HAVING A PARKING BRAKE ACTUATOR FOR MOTOR VEHICLES
The disclosure relates to an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator for motor vehicles. Parking brake actuators are used to prevent a vehicle from rolling away from the stationary state. In conventional disk brakes, a brake cylinder which is assigned to the disk brake is generally equipped with a mechanically actuated parking brake function. At the same time, the principle of the parking brake function used in a conventional disk brake cannot be used. It is an object of the disclosure to provide an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator, which is cost-effective and needs little construction space. The object can, for example, be achieved via an electromechanical disk brake having a parking brake actuator embodied as an electromagnetic linear drive.
Work vehicle
The disclosure provides a work vehicle. The work vehicle includes: a frame, a wheel unit connected with the frame, a working unit connected with the frame, and a power source arranged on the frame to supply power. The work vehicle further includes: a brake assembly connected with the wheel unit, a locking assembly, provided with a lock arm to lock the brake assembly, and a starting mechanism. The starting mechanism includes a starting arm connected with the lock arm to drive the lock arm to move when the starting arm is operated to unlock the brake assembly.

A highly reliable vehicle brake system including an electric brake is provided. A vehicle brake system (1) includes electric brakes (16a to 16d) provided with motors (80 to 85), drivers (60 to 65) that drive the motors (80 to 85), and a control device that controls the drivers (60 to 65). The electric brake (16a) includes two motors (80 and 81), and the control device includes separate drivers (60 and 61) respectively corresponding to the two motors (80 and 81). The control device includes a first master controller (30) and a first sub-controller (40). The first master controller (30) controls the driver (61) corresponding to the motor (81), and the first sub-controller (40) controls the driver (60) corresponding to the motor 80.

A highly reliable vehicle brake system including an electric brake is provided. A vehicle brake system (1) includes electric brakes (16a to 16d) provided with motors (80 to 85), drivers (60 to 65) that drive the motors (80 to 85), and a control device that controls the drivers (60 to 65). The electric brake (16a) includes two motors (80 and 81), and the control device includes separate drivers (60 and 61) respectively corresponding to the two motors (80 and 81). The control device includes a first master controller (30) and a first sub-controller (40). The first master controller (30) controls the driver (61) corresponding to the motor (81), and the first sub-controller (40) controls the driver (60) corresponding to the motor 80.
Disc brake for vehicles, in particular for commercial vehicles
A disc brake (1) for vehicles, in particular for commercial vehicles, includes a brake disc, at least two brake linings (3, 3a), and an adjusting spindle (4) axially adjustable toward the brake linings (3, 3a) for setting an air play (L) between the brake linings (3, 3a) and the brake disc (2). The adjusting spindle (4) has a pressure plate (4a) on a side facing the brake linings (3, 3a), and a pressure piece (9) arranged on the adjusting spindle (4) on a side axially opposite from the brake linings (3, 3a). The pressure piece (9) has an anti-rotation safeguard (10; 10a) for blocking a rotation (R) of the adjusting spindle (4), and the anti-rotation safeguard (10; 10a) axially engages the adjusting spindle (4).
Brake System for a Motor Vehicle and Method for Operating the Brake System
A brake system for a motor vehicle and a method for operating the brake system. The brake system comprises a braking assembly; a drive mechanism operatively connected to the braking assembly; and an electric motor assembly operatively connected to the drive mechanism, wherein the braking assembly, the drive mechanism and the electric motor assembly are configured to be located outside a wheel rim of a vehicle wheel of the motor vehicle and inside a frame body of the motor vehicle, and the drive mechanism is configured to be driven by the electric motor assembly to selectively enable the braking assembly to generate a braking force, by which an associated rotatable shaft of the motor vehicle can be stopped to rotate, while the motor vehicle is in motion.
COATINGS FOR BRAKE DISCS, METHOD FOR REDUCING WEAR AND ASSOCIATED BRAKE DISC
Brake pads are prepared using a LS (Low Steel) or NAO (Non-Asbestos Organics) type friction material formulation and at least one friction surface of a brake disc intended to cooperate in use with a brake pad that is coated with an anti-wear and anti-corrosion coating with adequate plasticity in order to have a reduced propensity to form micro-cracks under conditions of tribo-mechanical stress, chosen from the amongst the group consisting in: particles of chromium carbide (Cr.sub.3C.sub.2) dispersed within a metallic matrix consisting of an alloy of NiCr; particles of a combination of several metallic materials in order to create a metallic compound consisting of an alloy of FeNiCrMoSiC (iron-nickel-chromium-molybdenum-silicon-carbon).
MACHINE SUSPENSION SYSTEM
An embodiment relates to a machine including a prime mover, a drive pulley, a chassis, a subframe, a drive device, a drive belt, and a pulley arrangement. The drive pulley is coupled to the prime mover. The chassis is configured to support at least an operator and the prime mover. The subframe is pivotally coupled to the chassis about a pivot axis. The subframe is further coupled to the chassis via a suspension device. The drive device is configured to drive wheels of the machine. The drive device is configured to be driven by the prime mover. The pulley arrangement is configured to direct the drive belt from the drive pulley to a driven pulley on the drive device. The pulley arrangement comprises at least one idler pulley having a diameter and a rotational axis.

The brake pad (10A, 10B) comprises a lining (22) made of friction material and a plate (20) supporting the lining (22). The lining (22) comprises: —a rear edge (34) located on the side where the disk (9) is able to come out of an interface with the pad (10A, 10B) when the disk (9) rotates in an direction of travel of the vehicle, and a front edge (36); —a collection groove (3) that opens into the friction face (30) and is located close to the rear edge (34). The lining (22) has a rear region (60) comprising the rear edge (34) and the collection groove (3), and a front region (62) comprising the front edge (36), the front region (62) having a chamfered portion (66) such that an area of a friction surface of the front region (62) increases when a thickness of the front region (62) decreases.
Floating disc brake and method for assembling same
A floating disc brake includes a yoke supported to the support in an axially movable manner, the yoke including a pad support portion that supports an outer pad on an axially outer side of the outer pad. The outer pad includes, on its axially outer surface, a pair of pad-side engagement portions formed of an elastic material. The pad support portion has a support hole that is open on at least an axially inner surface of the pad support portion, and the support hole is provided with a pair of yoke-side engagement portions on inner side surfaces of the support hole that face each other in a circumferential direction. The pair of pad-side engagement portions and the pair of yoke-side engagement portions are concavo-convex engaged with each other in the circumferential direction.
