Oneband resistance exercise system
A method of use and system of an adjustable, multiple routine, resistance exercise, apparatus having a single, continuous length of elastic flexible and/or stretchable tubing, banding, and/or strapping, formed in a continuous loop, by having the two free ends of the length of tubing, banding, and/or strapping knotted securely together, thus forming a continuous loop exercise device, having at least three scalable calibrated sections demarcated by a plurality of knotted sections, forming a chain of loops with knotted stays strategically spaced along the length of the formed continuous loop device.
EXERCISE DEVICE FOR DEEP SQUAT AND BODY STRETCH
An exercise device for deep squat and body stretch has a device body, a damping assembly, and a pedal set. The device body has a base. The damping assembly is disposed on the base, and has a tube, a pneumatic cylinder which has multiple positioning through holes, and a seat. The pneumatic cylinder is mounted in the tube. The adjusting component is able to extend through the tube and is mounted with one of the positioning through holes. The seat is connected to the pneumatic cylinder for height adjustment. The pedal set is assembled on the device body, and has two pedals rotatably mounted on the device body.
A Device For Hip Extension Assessment Or Exercises
A device for hip extension assessment or exercises, comprising a base, an upper body or back rest, a bar spaced horizontally from the upper body rest by a distance equivalent to a user's torso, the bar comprising a resistance mechanism, wherein the mechanism provides and measures resistance acting vertically at the bar.
Device for isolated static stretching of the gastrocnemius (calf) muscle
A calf-stretching device enables a user to conduct stretching exercises of the gastrocnemius muscles of the leg. The calf-stretching device includes a support base positionable on a floor surface and left and right surfaces immovably attached to the support base. Each of the left and right surfaces present a convex curved surface from a front side to a back side to receive respective feet of the user, the convex curved surface having a greater radial dimension on an inner portion than an outer portion to correspond to a foot arch of the user.
Yoga band and method of using said yoga band to perform a yoga pose
A yoga band is configured with a retainer band loop for donning around a hand, wrist or foot and both an inner pose strap and an outer pose strap that may be elastic to enable stretching and holding of poses. The inner pose strap and an outer pose enable different levels or extensions for performing yoga poses, or a progressive stretching from the outer pose strap to the inner pose strap, for example. A yogi may extend the outer pose strap initially, as it may extend further than the inner pose strap, and therefore may be easier to reach and hold the yoga pose. As the yogi progresses, they may extend the inner pose strap which is shorter in length, thereby achieving a greater stretch. The inner and outer pose straps are coupled with a retainer strap component of the retainer band loop to provide a secure support.
STRETCHING APPARATUS
Example aspects of a stretching apparatus and a method of stretching are disclosed. The stretching apparatus can comprise an elongate support bar defining a bar first end and a bar second end opposite the bar first end; and a neck stretching attachment coupled to the elongate support bar, the neck stretching attachment comprising a head strap, a chin strap, and a bar attachment, wherein each of the head strap and chin strap comprises a flexible, inelastic material, and wherein the elongate support bar engages the bar attachment between the bar first end and the bar second end.
Sacroiliac joint exercise assistance device in lateral decubitus position
An exercise assist device transitively moves a sacroiliac joint in a lateral decubitus position. The following description is provided in the context of a left lateral decubitus position. The upper right leg is placed on a stand in the lateral decubitus position, and the upper right leg is then extended transitively backward with a sacral area supported by a sacrum support pad. Since a posterior side of a lower left sacroiliac joint is slightly opened, a sacrum slides backward via a right hip joint. This improves mobility of the lower left sacroiliac joint.
Assistive stretching device and method of use
An assistive stretching device worn by a user to reduce physical stress while lifting to aid another individual in stretching and method is disclosed. The device includes a belt sized to fit around the torso of the user, first and second pulleys supported on the belt, first and second wrist attachments; first and second ankle attachments; first and second cords threaded through corresponding pulleys with one end attached to corresponding ankle attachments and the opposite end attached to corresponding wrist attachments. The pulleys operate to change the direction of the lifting force, making it easier to lift and stretch the anterior aspects of the musculature of the individual rather than lifting dead weight. An attachment including a dual pulley system may replace the first and second pulleys and includes an arm supporting a pulley at each end and openings to provide leverage adjustments when attaching the arm to the belt.
PORTABLE DEVICES FOR EXERCISING MUSCLES IN THE ANKLE, FOOT, AND/OR LEG, AND RELATED METHODS
A method for exercising muscles in an ankle, foot, and/or leg of a user includes positioning a foot of a user onto a first body of an exercise device. The first body is spaced away from a second body of the device and pivotably connected to the second body of the device at a pivot axis. The pivot axis is adjacent to a central portion of the first body. The method includes rotating the first body about the pivot axis, with the foot, against a first resistive force. Rotating the first body includes subjecting the foot to a first motion. The method includes positioning the foot onto the second body. The method includes rotating the second body about the pivot axis, with the foot, against a second resistive force. Rotating the second body includes subjecting the foot to a second motion, the second motion being different than the first motion.
LOW FRICTION REHABILITATION BOARD WITH AN INTEGRAL BAND RETAINING FEATURE AND METHODS OF REHABILITATION
A low friction rehabilitation board having an integral band retaining feature is described. The rehabilitation board may have a coefficient of static friction of no more than about 0.5 and in some embodiments no more than about 0.06. The rehabilitation board has a plurality of band retaining feature configured along one or both ends and may be an integral band retaining features being formed in the board. Additionally, the rehabilitation may include one or more band retaining features on one or both sides of the board. The unique configuration of the band retaining features enables rehabilitation method heretofore not possible with a single board. Resistance bands may be retained in the band retaining features and coupled to a user's limb, such as a foot or ankle, to resist motion, such as sliding or extending the foot along the low friction surface of the rehabilitation board.
