Exercise machine support system
An exercise machine support system for providing increased versatility including inclination or declination of an exercise surface, a reduction in the overall length and width of the exercise machine, and an enhanced user interface which reduces the risk of injury. The exercise machine support system generally includes a cantilevered exercise machine which is adapted to have a variable angle of incline or decline with respect to a horizontal ground surface. The exercise machine will generally include a base and a support which extends between the base and the exercise machine. The upper end of the support is connected to the exercise machine by a first pivot such that the exercise machine pivots about the support. An adjustment device may be utilized to pivot the exercise machine and thus adjust its angle of incline. Various types of adjustment devices are disclosed, including an actuator, ratchet-and-pawl, gears, and cam.
Stationary bike
A stationary bike includes a flywheel mounted to a frame, and a chair coupled to the frame, the chair having a first, a second and a third section each having a flat area, wherein the flat area of the first section is substantially horizontal for supporting a user's buttocks when the user is in a sitting posture, the flat area of the second section forms a first angle to a vertical plane for the user's lower back to lean against when in the sitting posture, and the flat area of the third section forms a second angle to the vertical plane which is larger than the first angle, when the user's upper back rests on the third section, the user's lower back and buttocks are raised above the second section and the first section, respectively.
ABDOMINAL AND CORE EXERCISER DEVICE
There is provided a plank exercise device including a support portion adapted to receive arms or hands of a person and adapted to receive a display device, a destabilizer connected to the support portion, and a stationary base adapted to hold the destabilizer.
Reduced friction massage surfaces and exercise equipment
A reduced friction massage and exercise device, which includes a base frame and at least one anchoring arrangement for anchoring a first body part of a user. A reduced friction surface is mounted onto the base frame, and includes a plurality of ball transfer units arranged such that adjacent ball transfer units engage one another. The device further includes at least one cable column including a weight stack. Each of the motion transfer balls is adapted for omnidirectional rotation relative to a corresponding housing element and independently of other the motion transfer balls. The reduced friction surface is adapted to have a second body part of the user placed thereon during performing of a physical activity applying force to the second body part, while reducing friction between the second body part and the surface.
Exercise device
A portable exercise device with a cylindrical and elongated main shaft and a plurality of central components that fit over the main shaft. Both ends of the main shaft are releasably attached handles. Each of the handles comprises a grip section that is cylindrical in shape and overlies a handle support. The grip section of each of the handles is releasably attached to the handle support, and the handle supports are releasably attached to the main shaft. Longitudinal axes of the main shaft and handles are collinear. Each of the handles comprises an attachment member that extends from a distal end of the handle and forms an arc. An inner circumference of the attachment member is circular except for a flat portion that is equal in width to the flat portion of the handle support. The handle attachment members are configured to releasably attach to the handle supports.

POSTURE TRAINING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USING THE SAME
A posture training device is provided. The posture training device can include a belt with a body contacting portion having a body contact surface extending between a first edge and a second edge, an adjustable and releasable securing mechanism adapted to secure the posture training device around a midsection of a wearer. The posture training device can also include a vertebrae contact portion having a concave surface extending between a first end and a second end, and the concave surface can have a predetermined depth, such that the concave surface is configured to contact and support at least one vertebrae. A method of utilizing the posture training device to train the posture in a person is also provided.
Exercise apparatus having a stationary inner platform and an outer annular member rotatably connected thereto
There is accordingly provided an exercise apparatus including an inner housing upon which a user may stand. The apparatus includes an outer housing rotatably coupled to the inner housing. The apparatus includes a handlebar coupled to and extending upwards from the outer housing. The apparatus includes a mount for retaining one or more weights thereon. The mount operatively connects to the outer housing and is enclosed within one of the housings.
CORE EXERCISE MACHINE
An exercise machine for working core muscles includes a base, a handle bar connected to the base, and a leg support assembly connected to the base and extending substantially horizontally in a direction away from the handle bar. When one of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a clockwise direction, the other of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a counterclockwise direction, and when the one of handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a counterclockwise direction, the other of the handle bar and leg support assembly is swung in a clockwise direction. The opposite direction rotations of the handle bar and leg support assembly create a double twist motion in the core muscles of a user of the machine.
ADBOMINAL AND CORE EXERCISER DEVICE
According to various embodiments, there is provided a plank exercise device including a support portion adapted to receive arms or hands of a person and adapted to receive a display device, a destabilizer connected to the support portion, and a stationary base adapted to hold the destabilizer.
