The assembly includes an elongate flexible sheet having a pair of spaced-apart longitudinally extending sides. The sheet has a pair of spaced-apart ends that extend between the sides. The sheet has a first longitudinal portion extending from a first one of the ends towards a second one of the ends. The sheet has a second longitudinal portion extending from the second one of the ends towards the first one of the ends. At least a first one of the longitudinal portions of the sheet has an aperture extending therethrough. Portions of the first one of the longitudinal portions of the sheet adjacent to the aperture are curved.
POSTURAL DYNAMICS EXERCISE SYSTEM
Exercise apparatuses that may be particularly useful or treating and strengthening connective tissue. For example, apparatuses that may have or be reconfigured to have multiple (e.g., three or more) configurations that are suspended from above by a ceiling or stand. The equipment facilitates the stabilization of the body according to the principle of tensegrity, so that the tension in all movements is omni-directionally coherent, thus creating omni-tensional integrity, which may be helpful in treatment and strengthening of muscular connective tissue (fasciae) in musculoskeletal dynamics, to restore, rebuild, strengthen and regain elasticity within the human fascial network. These apparatuses can support the user at an oblique body angle while the user performs various movements.
EXERCISE SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR CONTROLLING A VEHICLE
A vehicular exercise system includes an exercise monitoring apparatus configured to communicate with a vehicle including one or more internal structures including at least one seat and a steering wheel. The at least one exercise monitoring apparatus includes processing circuitry configured to detect one or more exercise activities performed at the one or more internal structures and actuate the vehicle based on the one or more detected exercise activities. The processing circuitry is further configured to monitor one or more physiological parameters of the one or more detected exercise activities, determine a recommendation regarding future exercise activities based on the one or more physiological parameters, and output one or more notifications corresponding to the one or more physiological parameters and the determined recommendation.
WEARABLE DURING-WALKING ARM EXERCISE DEVICE
The present invention relates to a device for enabling a natural arm exercise during everyday walking. More specifically, the present invention relates to a wearable during-walking arm exercise device comprising: webbing belts extending from the user's front chest part and through the shoulder parts, and crossing each other in an X-shape on the user's back, thereby holding the entire device; one elastic string or multiple elastic strings coupled to the front and rear of the webbing belts, the elastic strings having elasticity such that, according to relaxation and contraction movements following forward/backward movements of arms, backside muscles of upper arms undergo exercise; and a handle fastened to the elastic strings so as to tension the elastic strings. Additionally, the wearable during-walking arm exercise device comprises a waist string having elasticity, the waist string being connected to the lower portion of the handle for muscle movements of front portions of the upper arms (biceps contracts). The elastic strings and the waist string are connected on the upper and lower sides of the handle such that, not only when arms are moved backwards (extension) as a result of walking, but also when the arms are moved forwards (flexion), both front and rear muscles of the upper arms (biceps brachii and triceps brachii) are tensioned and are thus exercised, thereby maximizing the merits of exercise.
Hand-held exercise apparatus and resistance mechanism for exercise apparatus
A hand-held exercise device comprises a frame, a handle attached to the frame, a spool element pivotally mounted to the frame, a pull-cord movable between a wound configuration in which the pull-cord is wound around the spool element and an unwound configuration in which the pull-cord is unwound from the spool element, a resistance element pivotally mounted to the frame, a transmission that couples the pull-cord to the resistance element such that pulling the pull-cord from the device causes the resistance element to rotate, and a damping means that acts to slow the rotation of the resistance element. The device provides a compact and lightweight form of exercise equipment that is easy to carry and easy to store. The device can be used with various fixtures, and also with a second handle fixed to the pull-cord, to allow the user to perform a wide range of exercises. Preferably the exercise device transmits exercise data to an external device that provides feedback and guidance to the user. A resistance mechanism for exercise apparatus allows a pull-cord to be coupled to a resistance element such that pulling the pull-cord from the mechanism causes the resistance element to rotate. A drive element is driven by a frictional force between the drive element and the pull-cord. The resistance element is coupled to the drive element by a transmission.
Free-motion dynamic resistance trainer for sports and rehabilitation movement training
A free-motion dynamic resistance trainer to be used to train the muscular coordination, dynamic stability and gait mechanics of athletes and physical therapy patients. Adjustable tension shock cords or bungee cords and resistance tubing are used in conjunction with a spinal support harness and jib in order to allow for the adjustment of progressive resistance and to create a heightened sense of proprioceptive awareness in those muscles and joints that are meant to be targeted depending upon the particular movement pattern being exercised. While providing resistance to improve strength and stamina, the shock cords or bungee cords and resistance tubing simultaneously guide and assist the trainee through certain aspects of each movement in order to train muscle memory of the proper kinetic sequence and body positioning. The apparatus, which is meant to be worn, can be used during sport specific movements other than running, in order to train and improve performance in myriad sports and activities.
Foldable Exercise Device
A foldable exercise device with a chin-up exercise apparatus and a dip exercise apparatus suspendable from the chin-up exercise apparatus. The chin-up exercise apparatus has a top horizontal member and a bottom horizontal member connected by two connecting members. Each connecting member has a door header hook and a parallel chin-up handle that rotate on the connecting member from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the chin-up exercise apparatus can engage a door frame. In the exercise configuration the parallel chin-up handles can be used for neutral chin-ups. The dip exercise apparatus has two vertical members spaced apart by a horizontal connecting member. The vertical members have a bottom end with a bottom grip. The bottom grip can be rotated from a flat configuration to an exercise configuration. In the exercise configuration the bottom grips can be used to do dip exercises.
Exercise Device for Alternating Movement of Arms and Legs
An exercise device for alternating movement of arms and legs by which users perform alternating active exercises and passive exercises repetitively is revealed. The exercise device includes a base, a hand driving member, and a leg driving member. Both the hand and leg driving member are pivotally connected to the base while the leg driving member is arranged under the hand driving member. One end of the hand driving member and one end of the leg driving member are configured to be pivotally rotated on the base. The hand and leg driving members are pivotally connected by a linkage. By the pivotal connections of the above parts, the hand and leg driving members are linked and moved with each other so as to lift up or press down arms and legs for stretching. The stretching of arms and legs also generates pressure on the abdomen of the user to exercise his or her abdomen.
