Method and a system for estimating the water content of brake fluid in a brake system
A method for estimating water content of brake fluid in a brake system including brake calipers and a brake fluid container, the brake calipers and the container each including a sensor configured to detect a water content of the brake fluid, the method including: arranging the brake system in a controlled environment; for a predetermined time period, exposing the brake system to a controlled temperature and humidity such that an increase in water content in the brake fluid is accelerated; determining the water content of the brake fluid in the brake fluid container and in each brake caliper as a function of time; and based on the determined water content as a function of time, establishing a model describing the relation between the water content of brake fluid in a brake caliper and the water content in the brake fluid in the brake fluid container.

Braking device for vehicle
The braking device for a vehicle includes a judging portion which judges whether the input piston and the output piston are in contact with or separated from each other and a control portion which outputs the control signal to the pilot pressure generating device so that the hydraulic pressure detected by the hydraulic pressure detecting device becomes a target value corresponding to a vehicle state, when judged that the input piston is not in contact with the output piston and outputs another control signal to the pilot pressure generating device, by which the pilot pressure becomes higher than the pilot pressure generated under a same vehicle state to a vehicle state in a case that the control signal is outputted when the judging portion judges that the input piston is not in contact with the output piston, when judged that the input piston is in contact with the output piston.
Hydraulic control system
A hydraulic control system for control of a hydraulic motor. The hydraulic control system comprises a fluid distribution assembly having a tank, a pump to pump fluid from the tank and a directional valve for distributing pressurised fluid from the pump and to return fluid to the tank; a valve assembly fluidly connected to the directional valve, the valve assembly having a first overcenter valve and a pressure reducing valve wherein a first main line connects the directional valve to the first overcenter valve and wherein a shuttle line connects the pressure reducing valve to the first main line; a hydraulic motor fluidly connected to the valve assembly wherein the first main line connects the hydraulic motor to the first overcenter valve; and a brake assembly fluidly connected to the pressure reducing valve, wherein a drain line connects the pressure reducing valve to the hydraulic motor.

Braking device for a hydraulic motor vehicle braking system comprising a stop disc
In order to offer an improved brake device without vacuum booster, in the case of which brake device the zero point of the cylinder piston remains as far as possible permanently within defined narrow tolerances and at the same time the impact noise is reliably reduced, it is proposed that the stop disk is elastically reversibly compressible in an axial direction over a defined compression travel and has the compression travel delimited, the delimitation being defined in a travel-controlled manner.
